Luis Palma Salazar (on BOP it is Jesus Hector Palma-Salazar) alias "El
Güero Palma", was released from the U.S. Bureau of Prisons, after being
incarcerated since 2007, when he was extradited from Mexico. With a good time deduction, he spent 85% of
his sentenced in the U.S., that along with his prior incarceration in Mexico,
he has already been imprisoned 20 years. And
now he will spend an additional time in the Mexican prison system.
When the United States notified Mexico of Palma’s release date, Mexico’s attorney general
began investigating any “outstanding” charges spending against the
former Sinaloa capo. This resulted in a
request of the U.S. to directly hand over the transfer of custody of Palma to
Mexican authorities. That occurred on
Friday June 10th. Palma
was then transferred to Puente Grande Prison in Jalisco, made famous by former partner Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán, marking his first prison escape,
folk lore has it, via a laundry basket.
When the United States notified Mexico of Palma’s release date, Mexico’s attorney general
Palma's gun (Mexico Narco Museum) |
Before
his alliance with Guzman, he along with his sister’s boyfriend, Venezuelan
trafficker, Rafael Enrique Clavel Moreno, started their own trafficking
operation. Palma was then arrested in Arizona in 1978, spending 8 years in
prison.
After
his release from U.S. custody, Palma discovered Clavel was having a romantic
relationship with his wife, Guadalupe Leija Serrano. His wife took off with Clavel, along with
Palma’s two young children.
Clavel
forced Guadalupe to withdraw 7M USD from Palma’s bank account, then decapitated
her, in San Francisco, California, sending her decapitated head to Palma.
That is something Palma
himself did when killing an enemy, sending the decapitated head in an ice
cooler to the victim’s family.
The
horror was only beginning. Clavel then
left to Venezuela with Palma’s children, Nataly, and Jesús. He then took the children to a bridge,
“Puente de la Concordia”, on the Colombia and Venezuela border, and threw the
children to their deaths. Clavel was then working with the Felix Arellano
cartel of Tijuana.
Félix
Gallardo, “El Padrino”, the Godfather and premier capo of trafficking, was
arrested for the torture and murder of DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena. He
and his partners, Rafael Caro Quintero and Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo would be
incarcerated for decades. He sensed an
urgency to appoint two capos to oversee the cartel, the two were Palma and
Guzman. A decision he was said to
regret. Supposedly he gave the go ahead
to execute Palma, due to his work on the sly for his own benefit. That order if
true, is yet to happen. He is also attributed with giving the orders to kill
Palma’s wife and children. This
was a huge departure from the unwritten narco code of family being off limits.
In the retaliation for
his children’s murder, Palma executed Padrino’s attorney and Clavel’s three
children. Palma’s revenge included
the killing of 9 victims in Iguala Guerrero. Of the nine victims were
four relatives of El Padrino. They were severally tortured and dismembered. Clavel was beheaded in
prison, allegedly on the orders of Palma.
Palma
has a lengthy Mexican criminal record which is overwhelmingly shrouded by
impunity. Of 23 cases of various
charges, only 3 of those cases brought convictions. Those cases were in 1995,
1996, and 2001.
The
first two cases were weapons charges and trafficking, and the third was for his
collusion in the prison escape of Joaquin Guzman Loera on January 19, 2001, from
the maximum security prison in Puente Grande, Jalisco. It was charged and
convicted that he along with Chapo has conspired and corrupted prison staff.
The
other 20 cases, were riddled with the most serious of offenses, including
dozens of murders. He was exonerated by acquittal, overturned on
appeal or tossed out due to lack of evidence.
In
reviewing court records, it does seem to
indicate that the murder charge of Norma Corona Sapien was never fully
resolved. Norma, an attorney and
founder/president of “The Human Rights Commission of Sinaloa”, was gunned down
in downtown Culiacan on May 21, 1990.
Authorities
allege Corona's death was ordered by Palma, because she had uncovered
information connecting him to the murders of the Venezuelans and Clavel’s attorney.
Charges
of murder in the Corona case were brought against Palma, but he successfully blocked
the arrest warrant with and injunction.
No further action was taken in the case.
According to public records, it seems feasible that the case could once
again be resurrected.
The narco life... ugly...and innocent children are murdered without any remorse by these scumbags.
ReplyDeleteAnd all these people love the narco lifestyle. These are not men there pieces of shit that will burn in hell
DeleteAre they still considered "innocent" if they are sons of a criminal?
DeletePalma's kids were 4 and 5 years old, they were tossed equivalent of 50 stories, one at a time. can you imagine the terror they felt?
Deletedoesn't bear thinking about
Delete10:43 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin. - Deuteronomy 24:16
Delete- El Sol Perdido
Innocent until they grow up to be like the father. Keep in mind that the sons and daughters of narco traffickers grow up to be anything but innocent.
DeleteHey so lets kill them at birth, right? and also each child in the US whose parent is a criminal. yep, you are so smart asshole. at 4 and 5 they are innocent. they have done nothing wrong in the world
@7:55 you believe in innocent people being killed and children. you can go to hell with all the narco trash that's what they all are
DeleteYou idiots need to learn how to read, because I said (Innocent until they grow up to be like the father). Now can any of you assholes tell me which one of the well knows narco traffickers have innocent kids?.
Delete1:40 you remind me of the pri campaign to make people shut the fack up, #ya chole con tus quejas, it didn't work, by the way.
Delete7:29 can you do your own search and post some results, and then and only then call us names?
Delete--I know your journalistic efforts are not up to the job, but for you to come and erase any doubt, it is kind of risible.
Remember La Barbie Grupera daughter of one of the Caballeros Templarios. She was not a criminal herself but she was laughing at everyone who was robbed of their money to help her to become famous. She was even dressed up as a Templaria herself and was singing songs about her fathers enterprise and power.
DeleteBut yeah some people think the sons and daughters are innocents and have nothing to do with daddy.
I for sure will not cry if the entire family of a narco trafficker is killed.
DeleteWow! So Gallardo ordered the CDS to take out Palma and his family? And here some of you guys say he's g to go to Sinaloa and make them stronger. Seems like his best bet is to join Quintero and back el CJNG. El Nemes1s-
ReplyDeletecds is all messed up they are fighting vs them selfs los lics are fighting vs la rana in la pas cds is the same as cdg fighting within them selfs seems to me that cjng is the only cartel united doing stuff right
DeleteThis was Chapo partner back in the days it was the tijuana cartel that were coming for him and caro was supposedly friends with the guy who killed his family
DeleteCds has always had infighting since the beginning cjng is also infighting just things haven't heated up so much
Delete10:29 guess what: "como te ves me vi, como me ves te verás..."
DeleteNothing is eternal tomarrah, cjng will be going through their own birthin' pains, matter of fack, el mencho's son already got nabbed two times, is in lrison, got lunched on the snkut, and some "cuinis" are in prison now, one in ururguay...
--So much for the mighty powers of a bunch of drug traffickers some of which many in government support for money, others for power, and others because they destabilize the whole country, which is the whole idea.
11:27 2 you do realize they have a very large family around 500 or more.
DeleteYou have way more corruption happening in your everyday life by the US government than by drug traffickers.. Quit being ignorant ..
DeleteCJNG territory
ReplyDeleteNot completely templarios Sinaloa and zeta have presence in jalisco
DeleteYes it is cjng territory zetas and templarios have tried to enter jalisco but cjng gets rid of them quick, sinaloa has presence but just to launder their money i know because i live in jalisco
Deletetemplarios? those are an extinct specie. and real zetas are too busy killing cholo zetas/cdn.
DeleteThe Caballeros Templarios may be extinct, apparently, but the men that enabled and put them up there for business reasons, are still all there, now working with a "new generation" of crooks that keep up with business as usual. From ex-governor pellejos to El Traficante mas Poderoso de Tierra Caliente"...
Delete12:39 EL Migueladas don't make me laugh in tierra caliente theirs only one man who has the power and it's not Migueladas that I can say for sure.
Delete@12:39 who el mencho??? cuz he's frm tierra caliente..
DeleteWell, francisco sahagun baca's mausoleum seems to be empty, Leonel Godoy already has happened, so, who is your candidate?
DeleteEpn sounds good enough, who do you like and why?
4:49 the least mentioned crook lasts longer than the fall guys, I suspect El Mencho aka "la mencha" is just the fall guy here, used to get los CT out of the hair of miguel angel gallegos godoy
DeleteCJNG might have the big edge in Jalisco but Zetas & CDS & CDG have men working in Jaslico to.
DeleteYea . These guys are smart ? Its obvious this guy has been locked up at least 28 years in his past . Having families and associating with people he knows will kill them if provoked . These are not smart people . Lets hear from the dumb asses that tell me otherwise . If your involved in this kind of shit and you have a family you are a very sorry worthless person.
ReplyDeleteNever have a family until you become to big to fuck with
DeleteEye for an eye whether you are in the mafia or buying guns.
ReplyDeleteReal dirty. How its suppose to be.
ReplyDeleteIs he related to the Salazars of Sonora?Boy talk about kicking the dog when he's down-not only did his wife have an affair with his partner but the guy killed her and if that's not enough the guy killed his 2 innocent little ones and if that wasn't enough the guy robs him for $7,000,000.Holy shit Palma has lived 5 lifetimes.Wonder how much time he's going to do in Mexico.Big adjustment again but maybe to his benefit.I don't think I have heard a more tragic story happening to 1 person.
ReplyDeleteThis guy has it bad... His life is a mess yet people think he will take over the drug game. He did 8 years then 20 ,now he will do more time
ReplyDeleteSince 2007 to 2016 is not 20 years
ReplyDelete"after being incarcerated since 2007, when he was extradited from Mexico. With a good time deduction, he spent 85% of his sentenced in the U.S., that along with his prior incarceration in Mexico, he has already been imprisoned 20 years."
DeleteOne thing that has me wondering is, the feds don't have early release for good behaviour. He got 16, he should have done at least 15 with the feds.
DeleteYou don't do no 15 years on 16, you do 85% of your time. Everybody. He got time counted for while being held in Mexico. Just like if you have a state charge and a Fed charge, but you are beingh eld by the state, your Fed time still counts
DeleteSo what bullshit charge did they find to send him to Puente Grande? If there is any.
ReplyDeleteGang afiliatted.
Delete3 puntos.
Bato loko for ever.
20 years straight...mexico then extradited and since 2007 U.S.
ReplyDeleteyes he served time prior to that.
half his life behind bars.
Suck time he did in 5-8 he did im mex count time served in usa why dont the years he was in jail in usa dont count in mexico suck
ReplyDeleteEpn is just trying to keep his friends "even closer"
DeleteEpn doesn't want his "friends" helping his political opponents with campaign contributions and shit just because he did not deliver, but decided to rob his partners in crime, and to get a few more murdered

No charges to have el güero in prison, other than trumped up charges, but it is orders from miguel angel felix gallardo, he can't be released, but anything else goes, el padrino is the CIA property, Don neto and el Rafa too, but they can fight each other all they want, it is about an "empate de amor".
ReplyDeleteMan you make no sense, El padrino can't even help himself he's decaying in jail so how is he giving orders. Now if you said it was El Chapo orders I could understand, he's the real CIA connection
DeleteFelix Gallardo aint got no power. He couldnt even get out of jail in Mexico. Chapo had them throw away the key...
DeleteInteresting!from all I read and researched i believe they really do belong to the cia
DeleteChapo cia connection? You're stupid
Delete9:13 old decaying people still can suffer and die like they deserve, AND I recommend that human rights attorneys and volunteers do not get "entre las patas de los caballos"
DeleteMeanwhile the U.S is trying to take chapos 21 thousand 600 million dollars . after the U.S helped him smuggle all those tons of coke and weed. The government always wins that's for sure, just look at all the crooked government in Mexico that never get charged or killed.. The chapos and mayos are just used and abused..
ReplyDelete8:47 Yea . Poor little pure hearted Chapo . So innocent and taken advantage of . Bet they promised they loved him and would marry him and took his virtue on empty promises . Those evil drug consuming Norte Americanos
DeleteWhat a waste of oxygen, and to think people worship pieces of shit like him.
ReplyDeletewas the wife even attractive looking?
ReplyDeletewtf man better looking than you in all probability

Good photos? you mean photos that are old, tired and used millions of times. And are you going to translate the article?
DeleteThank you for the article BB, and for remembering a big group of us do not know the long history of these narcos and I did not see any articles in English giving up so much background information. I am sure I am not alone in appreciating the work you guys do.
Here comes the PAIN!!

ReplyDeleteRalph...not only were there no images, in fact there are conflicting accounts of exactly where it occurred. We do our best, but welcome any info or images from you readers if you come across them. Myself that information is not all that interesting or important.
DeleteWhere he exited and went to is indicated by the screenshots I made above showing when he left BOP and went into Jal Prison.
@ Chivis is that Don Neto on the screen shot? Did did Don Neto get transferred to Puente Grande?
DeleteChivis baby let me holla at this nigga fo' a minute...
DeleteHe was handed over on this side o sea USA....

Keep tuning in for future news on the war on drugs saga.
Tu verdadero padre.
6:12----HOLY S*** it is! Damn, can't believe I missed that! Although there are many prisons in Jal, I think there is only one federal prison.
DeleteCould it be the Guero and Don Neto crossed paths last week? Maybe Don Neto did but forgot who he was since I read his mind is fried.
Good eye!
Chivis did GP have other families? Ive heard he had one with a beauty queen o MTY during the 90s or 80s.. not sure if thats true though
ReplyDelete♤
Deleteat his sentencing his "family" was allowed to be in the courtroom, women, men, children and babies, his "entire family of wives, children of all ages" all 20 of them.
They had ALL moved to Los Angeles to live until his release.
He had many children just as his partner Chapo, in and out of wedlock.
His only words at the sentencing were:
"Through you, I apologize to the people of the United States, for the "mistake" I made"
Now I really hate him.
DeleteI hope they kill him for being a rat
DeleteThat is why, in my opinion, people should stick their "apologies" where the sun don't shine, together with the "mistakes were made" apologizers, boooy these last guys really have it made, they give out apologies but hold onto their billions and billions of ill gotten dollars they "made themselves..."
DeleteAka lol
ReplyDeleteThe lesson I learned from this story is never trust a Colombian around your wife and kids. Hell never trust a Colombian period. If Tony Montana couldn't trust them why should I.
ReplyDeleteMista' Clavel Moreno alias "Mister I didn't do it", was venezolanian from Vergasuela"
DeleteEnrique Guzman, Raul Vale, Jose luis rodriguez el puma, there are a few, nobody likes them.
-? Colombia dictator alvaro uribe velez was well liked...
--then his tiatro fell on his head, and he got kicked out of spain, france, germany and all of europe, and had to quit his teaching proffessorship in some university, in france or sompim...
It was actually a Venezuelan who killed his family .
DeleteHe was from Venezuela. Keep an eye out for Tony Montana though. Where is he from Puerto Rico? hahaha
DeleteDammnn boi
DeleteYou sound like a gangsta .
Lol
DeleteVenezuelan or Colombian it's all the same to me. Never trust'em.
DeleteNever trust any criminal period be it yellow, brown, black or white of any nationality.
DeleteGuy is Venezuelan
ReplyDeleteChanged my mind about feeling sorry for him. He deserves where he's at. He's not a good citizen. Rot in Hell.
ReplyDeletelast narcos, ah
ReplyDeleteThe only humans in this situation that I have pity for are the children because they know nothing of drug trafficking and the bullshit that goes with it. Palma showed himself to be just as big a piece of shit the moment he gave the ok to kill that bastards children in retaliation for the death of his own. A man would have killed every adult connected to Félix Gallardo thru blood that had anything to do with drug trafficking as well as those who carried out murders of my family, no young kids but if the kids are old enough to take part in the business they go as well. Anyway, those involved in the drug trade are the lowest form of scum on this planet, they have zero loyalty, one minute your best friends the next their trying to kill you over money when there's enough to go around and make everyone happy.
ReplyDeleteTrue, very few respect the family rule. Nacho Coronel comes to mind when he caught Mochomo's wife and let her go after a warning.
DeleteThe wife Nacho coronel let go alive was the wife of Héctor beltran leyva, he would not deliver himself to save her...
Delete--Arturo Beltran Leyva let go of genarco garcia luna, he had him dead to rights, and el Barbas let him go, of course, it cost el barbas his life...but he was decent, more decent than any priista or panista or pvem...
--Nacho coronel let go of his prey
Delete--el barbas let go of his prey (a genarco Garcia Luna)
And both are dead now,
Z1 guzman decena and z3 el lazca pedro aviles, pablo acosta, rafael aguilar guajardo and amao carrillo f trusted their main men, and also got shafted.
--So, what you do is try to prevent your enemy's kids from growing up and turning into dangerous enemies...
The mexican narcos #1 mistake: paying kickbacks to politician that did not deliver, betrayed their colleagues, and kept getting paid until they decided that all the marbles were their marbles after all...
Viva child killer!
ReplyDeleteViva Mexico! the joke country!
3:44 The US "kills'em all" every month, all over the world, we'll I think the proper words is "tries to kill'em all"
DeleteBombs accept friend and foe, the innocent are gods problem, big bombers 'just supply the bombs to allies with the proper ID and credentials...
--some supplies get delivered to the wrong address by accident...
--that is because we are only human...
--and humans "make mistakes"...
--there is a lot to be decided about when you are the "joke country", while you are losing or while you are wining, @3:44
sad story drugs no good
ReplyDeleteHeres the article on coronas killing. http://articles.latimes.com/1990-07-03/news/mn-670_1_national-human-rights remember to not believe the official statement of who did it. They blame organized crime for every hight profile political assasination. Just like they did with Colosio and the Cardinal. It comes out that the governments version is false and they themselves orchastrated those murders. Carrillo Olea under orders of carlos salinas. The killers had southern accents and were dressed in cowboy boots but had trouble running in them.
ReplyDeleteAdd governor of sinaloa Fernando Labastida, procurador de justicia jorge Carpizo mcGregor, and all the mafia priista involved with salinas, one year after la dotora Corona was murdered, Proceso publishes: 18 may 1991/
Delete"hace un año la procuraduria del estado de sinaloa consideraba el caso resuelto, cambian los hechos, los personajes..."
At the end, " El Consejo Ciudadano Contra la Violencia' says:
"Todo parece una obra de teatro montada desde la Ciudad de Mexico", (it all seems to be a theatre production mounted from Mexico City/ aka el DF, LOS PINOS...)"
A reader wrote in with a link to a post saying Palma will be released tomorrow. The link was to the UK, but I did find a Mexican press report from one other saying it is "today" but with a date of tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteNot sure. It is possible to be released from BOP and still be in the US with another agency, but then why would Mexico press say otherwise. I recall Torres took a few days after release. Nothing is ever simple black and white in Mexico :(
don't fret, it don't matter much, he is coming or is here. wonder why his name is on the Jalisco list. I guess that means he is going there? that's weird.
ReplyDeletegood post anyway.
:) thank you.
Deletedon't let it get to you chivis. I guess the only significant question is, if he is really not transferred yet, will he go to prison. I would think yes because it was announced custody would be transferred to Mexico, that mean as in prison custody. I read in mx paper that he WAS transferred through California then the same day read he was transferred through Arizona.
ReplyDeleteMoros Rap page on fb has the Guero Palma pics of him being handed over
