“We took back the city from the Zetas!” said Purón in the debate minutes before his murder
Violence continues out
of control during this deadly Mexico election season.
The latest murder is
that of PRI candidate, Fernando Purón Johnston. which was recorded by a
security camera. He was shot twice, one was a head impact.
In the footage, the
shooter is seen to the far left adjacent to the UA de C building in Piedras
Negras, he moves to the left just under
the sign, wearing a jacket and a cap.
Meanwhile Purón Johnston is mingling with a few supporters, and taking
selfies, when the killer makes his move, extracting a gun from his jacket moving
towards his target, gets close and shoots.
The victim was a
candidate for the Coahuila First District Deputy position. There are seven Coahuila districts. It is a federal position similar to a
congressman in the U.S. The first
district is located at the upmost northern part of the state and borders Texas
cities such as Del Rio and Eagle Pass.
The victim had just
exited the building where he had participated n a debate against his
opposition, one being Lenin (Lenny) Perez of Acuña. Perez was a two term mayor in Acuña.
Purón Johnston was a
popular former mayor of Piedras Negras, and the 43 year old had just became a
father two months before his murder. [daughter at left, one of his last FB posts]
With this murder, the death
tally for candidates is 113
The states of Guerrero
(23), Oaxaca (19), Puebla (13) and Veracruz (8) are the ones that register the greatest
number of aggression.
The PRI coalition with Verde
Ecologistas de México and Nueva Alianza the Green Ecologists of Mexico and
Nueva Alianza parties has been the hardest hit with 44 murders of politicians.
Damn this is so sad. Are we assuming it was los zetas? Given his speech?

ReplyDeletePolitics is comparable to boxing. The only thing is that in politics there are basically no rules. In boxing, you can get a black eye, but in politics you can get poison in your food or a bullet in the head. It's definitely rougher and tougher than other sports.- Wladimir Klitschko
ReplyDeleteSet up
ReplyDeleteWith all respect to the victim and the family. He got wacked by a pro. One shoot and is all over..damm cold blooded.
ReplyDeleteHis execution (pun intended) was of a pro but his level of nonchalant gave him away to anyone who wouldve been watching this guys back.
DeletePro's aren't really seen or caught on film. It looks more like a coward who is willing to sell his soul for the greenback.
DeleteHave y'all ever notice that in Mexico white people are in high government jobs I am talking about people with white last names
Deletea pro?
DeleteIt takes a pro to shoot an unguarded man behind the head?
The only thing the word "professional" means is not expertise, just the fact that an individual is compensated for his "work." The level of inhumane crimes in Mexico won't diminish any more than the level of corruption. The United States is not far behind, in the Diaz Ordaz/Echeverria/Gutierrez Barrios stage of development...
DeleteMi voto es para Lening
ReplyDeleteAndes manuel
Deletecjng in town
ReplyDeleteFOH They cant even control jalisco what makes you think they can survive in piedra negras lol
Deletebecause they need a border crossing and what point is weaker then piedras at the moment
DeleteHe’s right they are in town moving dope under the nose of cdn
DeleteWell, looks like abusing the people as a candidate for "PRI, PVEM and hueva alianza" is not a healthy thing to do.
ReplyDeleteNow where are the Moreirito Boys?

ReplyDeleteOk super killer
DeleteTrust no one...be no one...a ghost. That guy was a pro. Timed it perfectly. Bet, he wasn't even Mexican, and is in US now.
DeleteNo room for the ones who would make a difference in Mexico. You are either in the racket or you are dead.
ReplyDelete8:45 if you think this pinche priista was going to make a good difference in coahuila you have drank too much kool-aid...
DeleteThis guy done more for piedras then any other mayor
DeleteI hope trump can do something about this situation since mexico cant!!
ReplyDelete9:43 otra mamada y me subo el cierre.
DeleteYour hero can't testify on his behalf because his team knows he will LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING...
Trump dont give a shit neither the ppl that support him to the degree that ppl, children that live in the usa since before 2010 are being thrown into the human meat grinder that is mexico now with no regard to the fact that mexico has turned into hell.
DeleteDamn... that was a political murder not a gamgland hit.
ReplyDeleteThat must be one fd up selfie to have.wonder if she deleted it
ReplyDeleteHope she didn't delete it. It would contain a facial picture of the assassin.
DeleteThe curse of the selfie. Has anybody else ever noticed that many times after a selfie there is a death?
DeleteI wonder if the killers face is on the seldie
DeleteThis was a good clean execution. Not the normal drug addict hit. Consolidation requires better corruption and the time is nearing.
ReplyDeleteWonder if that woman was the decoy ? Looks like her disappearing then that fence.
ReplyDeleteShe ducks down when Purón gets the hit and disappears from view in the corner but that looks like her walking across the cement and then thru that fence.
To me its seems like she could of been involved
Deleteyeah she didn't get scared or anything just like I guess time for me to leave
DeleteThe article say two shots, is there something I missed
ReplyDeleteThe killer just looked suspect, but I’m always paranoid.
ReplyDeleteDamn that sucks! Seams that the lady took the selfie at the right moment when he got shot, wicked selfie if you ask me
ReplyDeleteDeath Penalty needed in Mexico, if you murder you get DEATH, TEXAS style
ReplyDelete1:40 murdering one Mexican PRIISTA politician should come
Deletewith a prize, then there are the PANAL and pvem,
fack them all in the ass.
Rip
ReplyDeleteA professional hit my asz, a professional wouldn't execute a T.O.I. target of interest in front of a survailance camera such as in this case. This was a desperate shot in point blank range, he wasn't alone he had observers aiding him. C mon man think.
ReplyDeleteForreal...... A pro hit? Pro would be rooftop sniper with a flower delivery car getaway. This my enemys is a $100 special.
Delete<3MUAh
As if he wasn't corrupt!
ReplyDeleteEl fin de este sistema de satanas de acerca.
ReplyDeleteprofessional job there. No one has any security with them there?
ReplyDelete3:36 these "jobs" open a lot of market for private security guards, if the party will pay for it, candidiotas don't have the funds for it yet.
DeleteWhat good are all the cameras in mexico? Just so we show can show all the killings and inept actions of the goverment to resolve these heinous crimes.
ReplyDeleteI also read there was a threatening narco manta/message scrawled in the local cemetery 2 years ago ; threatening , mas o menos, “ we’ll have your head “.

DeleteAre you seeing grillonautas?
Delete4:40 well, mophaka must have done sompim' to earn his candidacy to federal congress, some people do not forget when they get screwed in the ass when they get caught in a rat trap.
DeletePRISTAS' unwavering support for each other comes with a prize.
Why you mess with the moreiras?
ReplyDeleteI don't mess with the Moreno's.
DeleteWhy wouldn't a Mexican politician of his stature have at least one armed security guard covering his back? Doesn't make sense. If I had been in his position, I would have personally hired at least two armed security men to cover my back. Not smart.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that will make a difference is the death penalty or it will be worse.
ReplyDeleteHoy mataron a una pareja con un bebe. El bebe que culpa tiene. Bola de jotos hijos the putas pulguientas matense entre ustedes y dejen al pueblo en paz. .
ReplyDeleteIn Piedras Negras , in the summer time , it is hot as hell . Looks like a man wearing a coat would be very suspicious .
ReplyDeleteI do not understand why these migrates come to the US. The US is hated arround the world. Why???????
ReplyDelete6:14 immigrants are more than welcome all over the us, by men and women of good will, many of them share their not real big Abundance but share they do, and they never died of hunger, they also respect that Mexicans EARN their way like nobody else, but I am sorry for you that never are left with anything to eat because of the "mexicans"
Deleteyo digo qu fue el de la roca
ReplyDeleteIn order to eliminate Drug Cartels one must (Government & Law Enforcement)be just as violent as the Drug Cartel. Black Bag Ops and hide operations from the News Media. One FELL SWOOP, it will take at least 30 days. Generals and Police may be caught up in "ELIMINATION" Process.
ReplyDeleteIn order to eliminate drug cartels one must decriminalize drugs.
DeleteMaybe some multibillionaire condos paid for by the Mexican governmen and given to some "deal maker" would fix things, but it did not work in Panamá or Canada, or on the US.
DeleteWow no bodyguard that is not good.
ReplyDeleteLooks like EL PRI is getting rid of candidates that might actually make a difference in Mexico
ReplyDeleteThe guy opening the car door was in it. He opened the car door, looked back at the shooter, closed the door and took off in a hurry.
