The alleged crime target, according to the State Secretariat of Public Security, is fully identified with criminal activities committed with said criminal group

Apatzingán, Michoacán: December 2, 2018 The Public Security Secretariat of the State managed the arrest of José Guadalupe Luna Navarro, alias "El Cuadrado", security chief of Nicolás Sierra Santana, alias "El Coruco", members of the Los Viagras cartel after an operation in which nine other people were arrested.

"El Cuadrado" was captured along with three other alleged hitmen and six alleged hawks, related to other crimes, after the operations carried out by the SSP in the towns of Catalinas, Pinzándaro, Northern Division, Santa Ana and Punta de Agua.

Among those arrested are those identified as Christian X., alias "La Culebra"; Tomas X., aka "Tommy"; Víctor X., alias "Chino"; Laura X., aka "China" and Armando X., aka "Calaco."

The suspects were assured of long weapons, fragmentation grenades, vehicles with reports of theft, as well as uniforms of the State Police, and were placed at the disposal of the competent authority.
José Guadalupe "N", known as "El Cuadro" , alleged leader of a Los Viagras cell , was arrested when authorities were looking for Nicolás Sierra Santana in several communities of Apatzingán and Apatzingán, Michoacán.

The alleged criminal objective, according to the Ministry of Public Security, is fully identified with criminal activities committed under its participation with  Los Viagras.

Without a doubt it is a strong blow that is directly aimed at the criminal group that has caused us problems Los Viagras,  he was fully linked with them, and was put at the disposal of the corresponding authority, " said Juan Bernardo Corona Martínez, Secretary of Public Security at the state.

Along with "El Cuadraro", another nine people were arrested and eight vehicles that had a theft report were confiscated, as well as a motorcycle; Four long weapons, three fragmentation grenades, useful cartridges of various sizes, tactical equipment and drugs were also seized.

"It should be mentioned that he is one of the priority objectives that we have, he was arrested with other people and apart from the confiscation of weapons, the seizure of stolen vehicles, the seizure of drugs and many ammunitions, " added Corona Martínez.

These results were exposed to federal authorities with whom there will be full coordination in this change of government, said the Secretary of Security of Michoacán, who said they integrate three new regions at 10 already in which they have divided the entity as part of the security strategy .

    4. Mencho owns more plazas than chapo ever did. Fact. Since 2012 the creation of CJNG opioid deaths per year and introduction in the USA have more than doubled. Something sinaloenses took 20 years to do mencho did in 5 years. Reason hes the most wanted by the DEA, not because mayo has pull. Just facts no lloren Chicalocas.

    8. 8:50pm all cartels are parasites fact!and as we will see that greasing wheels makes for quite passage (mayo's).taking by force and intimidation only works for so long(mencho's)way.mencho's facing internal fighting in that cartels infancy, mayo has it too but in the end,he is still at the top of the pyramid.that tells you something.

    2. I do. What part of this do you not care about? Viagras? Michoacan? Are you only here for the reporting of murders and gun battles? Did you accidentally click onto the wrong site? Bb is about the reporting of drug cartels put in a format for English speakers. I can't see how would think this is not relevant.?

    3. Thanks amigos, Yeah 6:34 doesn’t give a crap that I waste my precious time for free at something most folks consider a pretty weird habit. Who in their right mind would spend their time hunting down these things and putting them up for people that don’t give a crap. This character even made Google news, not to mention whole lots of Mexican publications. He must be somebody and apparently they have a reason to care.
@6:34 Why don’t you send me a useful link about something YOU care about and we shall see if you can become a productive contribution instead of wasting our time.

  6. Mexico is not a failed state. Criminals are consistently apprehended and jailed. Not all Mexican law enforcement is compromised. We should read more stories of the brave, heavily-armed Mexican lawmen who fight fire with fire and will readily fill a worthless sicario with hot lead.

    2. I beg to differ. IMO, Mexico "is" a failed State. I you are rich, powerful, connected to corrupt high gov bureaucrats and criminals, then you can literally have illicit things done with impunity. But if you are a common citizen, good luck finding true justice.

Also, when the state will not or cannot provide safety and justice for its citizens, then it is a "failed"State.

When a State's GDP relies heavily on remittances from foreign countries (esp USA), from criminal enterprises as illicit drugs making, trafficking, and exporting. When its citizens do not trust cops, the courts, or bureaucrats then you have a failed State.

Tell me where I am wrong, please.

    3. “Criminals are consistently apprehended and jailed.”

And many others are consistently released and/or live with complete impunity, fully able to do the shit they want. Hell, the zetas scumbags destroyed an entire town back then and got away with it, are you kidding me?

    4. Most of the lawmen in Mexico are on the payrolls of the drug cartels. You like a naive imp you are implying that the lawmen in Mexico fill themselves or each other with heavy lead. Good guys and bad guys is only in movies. In real life it depends on which side you are on as your opponents will always be the bad guys. That's reality.

      Delete
    5. @ 7:09 you should ask Sicario 006 about that, he knows everyone

  7. And said criminals are consistently released over and over. Yes their are law enforcement who are genuine and fight to protect citizens but it's not enough. It's over, it's been over for years and Mexico will never again become the beautiful country it was before the drug war. It's just reality, as harsh as it is.

    2. @3:42

Chivis right, Mexico is not a failed state, just an highly disfunctional one with at extremely weak rule of the law and ability to enforce it.
