Since the end of March, Interpol has been searching for Tomás Zerón, after the Attorney General's Office (FGR) requested that an alert be issued to locate the former official.
Tomás Zerón de Lucio is a fugitive from justice in Mexico and is wanted in several countries, because while he was head of the AIC at the time of the PGR "he witnessed and tolerated the torture of detainees to integrate" the investigation into the case of the disappearance of the 43 Ayotzinapa normalistas.
A federal control judge issued an arrest warrant against Tomás Zerón, former director of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), for the crimes of forced disappearance, torture and against the administration of justice in the case of Iguala.

Judge Samuel Sánchez, head of the Eighth District Court in matters of Amparo and Federal Trials of the State of Mexico reported that the arrest warrant was issued within criminal case 112/2020.
Therefore, if the former official is captured in Mexican territory, he must be transferred to the Oriente Prison. In June, Zerón filed an amparo in a court in the State of Mexico against the arrest warrant issued by a judge in Guerrero.

In this regard, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon, Secretary of Foreign Relations, said that the Mexican government will work to achieve the arrest and extradition of the former director of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), who is allegedly in Canada.
If Tomás Zerón is detained abroad, diplomatic procedures must be carried out for his extradition.
A Federal Judge admitted for processing at the end of June the amparo filed by Zerón de Lucio with which he seeks to stop the arrest warrant issued against him for his alleged responsibility in the crimes of alteration and concealment of evidence in the investigation of the Ayotzinapa case.
On March 18, the journalist Álvaro Delgado Gómez confirmed in the Proceso magazine that Tomás Zerón de Lucio, the man who conducted the “investigation” that revealed the “historical truth” about the fate of the 43 normalistas from Ayotzinapa, already had a arrest warrant for a judge at the request of the Attorney General's Office (FGR).
Zerón de Lucio was a man protected by former President Enrique Peña Nieto. When social pressure led to his dismissal as head of the AIC, he was directly appointed as an adviser to the Presidency. This new commission was taken as an attempt by Peña Nieto to protect him.
The arrest warrant against the former head of the AIC was issued by the FGR on March 10, for which the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) turned a red card for his capture abroad, since the former official would have escaped to Canada.
The accusation against Zerón de Lucio on charges of torture, forced disappearance, altering the crime scene, loss and concealment of evidence, arose after what happened on October 28, 2014 in Río San Juan de Cocula, Guerrero, the day on which Allegedly, Agustín García Reyes, “El Chereje”, one of the allegedly implicated in the discovery of the remains of the 43 normalistas, was allegedly taken away illegally and without the company of his lawyer.
In a report from the General Office of the FGR on June 25, 2019, it is noted that the former official also ordered the experts of the defunct PGR to carry out the search for human remains only in the river, preventing it from being investigated in the whole area.
For this reason, ministerial sources assured that there is sufficient evidence to confirm that Tomás Zerón de Lucio and his AIC team produced the report on “the historical truth” about the disappearance and murder of the Ayotzinapa normalistas.

Ugly bastard. Dude’s face looks like he’s permanently constipated, and he more than likely is..
ReplyDeleteAnd Jesus... How many Mexican politicians have been arrested in the past decade?!
We all know there’s plenty more, but I’ll be damned to find one who is NOT corrupt...
I believe that Zeron found out the truth about the Normalistas and now somebody involved is trying to silence him.
ReplyDeleteThe melitary and federal police need to confess too, their leadership have sworn to secrecy and mutual protection, giniral Salvador Cienpedos secretary of defense even said "NOBODY IS GOING TO INTERROGATE MY BOYS" but in spanish.
ReplyDelete--Zerón only invented or continued the Historic Lie, after a few years he will plead guilty while others get away with impunity for their crimes, zeron got put on the mikes after "Murillo Karam got tired".
-- "El Trucutú" Omar Hamid Garcia Harfuch, the civilian in charge of the federal police "intelligence" in
Guerrero also became a ghost, "The Ghost of Ayotzinapa" needs to be interrogated with the cattle prod up his ass, i am sure El Mencho would love to see that,
--El Trucutú Harfuch wants to eliminate the protests against his grandfather's butchery of students in Tlatelolco for MEXICO 68.
His grandfather was secretary of defense Marcelino Garcia Barragan "El Carnicero de Tlatelolco" and el trucutú harfuch needs to whitewash his memory along with his daddy's who was director of the drug trafficking DFS and a founding partner member of the Guadalajara cartel who married Maria Sorte right off the Televisa Catalog.
@8:29 Sin que te ofendas güey para que no salgas con tus mamadas pero you seem to know a lot of Mexico's political history. Other commentators no matter what AMLO is currently doing will always criticize the effort but never offer or contribute to the solution
Delete12:57 just trying to contribute some reality based wisdom derived from real history and experience, amlo was a baby when i was in Mexico City
DeleteTalk about corruption at the very highest levels... Foxes guarding the henhouse ... smoke and mirrors government. Courtrooms, have to be pre-programmed plays where everyone takes on pre-determined roles and "acts" according to to unseen puppeteers dictates.
ReplyDeleteMexico is forever fu&k#d as long as the above persists. I do not see AMLO having a clue as to what to do....Please don't blame gringos... well maybe a little.

12:08 nobody blames the gringos because they are innocent, well, not all the gringos are alike, most of them have evolved into Black Lives Matter fans
