Two men were sitting talking outside a home in the Ejidal neighborhood when they became victims of an armed attack.

Unknown subjects approached the two victims and without a word fired at them on at least five occasions. As a result of this, one lost his life at the crime scene, while the second was transferred to the hospital to receive medical attention.

It was on Ejido de Canoas street where the attack was carried out in the aforementioned neighborhood at 5:00 p.m.

Minutes later the area was surrounded by neighbors, who after the armed attack went outside their homes to see what had happened, there they observed the two wounded men on the sidewalk.

Shortly after, the scene of the events was secured and cordoned off so that the scene was not contaminated. While the Prosecutor's Office personnel carried out the first investigations.

At least five shell casings were observed at the site.

So far the identity of the victims is unknown, as well as their relationship. It will be in the course of the next few hours that this information is determined.
