They agreed to support El Jaguar's efforts to retake Madera from La Linea. By 2018, El Ochenta's network of protection had been diminished enough that he was arrested. DeleteYes we need an article about them from la Sierra de Durango
DeleteRuben was nachos brother ?
DeleteAnd
BLO killed nachos son; Alejandro ?
Barrera or Cabrera?
Delete850
DeleteIt's crazy I thought they would've been related but no, nacho had no family ties with Ruben. Unless I'm wrong, but from what I know no.
The story goes "allegedly" Ruben had some nephew's of his wife killed and they both(wife and nephews) belonged to the barrera lopez family and supposedly el señor de tamazula ordered his murder, and he got killed and his son died tryna protect him.
Can anyone verify?
M97 seems to have a good grasp of the past dynamics of Durango, I assume he's from there. If I remember correctly from a recent vídeo he uploaded, RCV wife is from the Bazúa familia and the issue was the death of some nephews for X reason. The wife and several other people didn't agree with how RCV handled the matter and made the call to kill him but they also killed the younger remaining son after "Juny" Coronel had died in an auto accident? The wife maybe related to THE Bazúa family who have also violently lost members to the clan fighting between these alacranes. My info is from listening to music, I wasn't told, heard a rumor or am related to any of these people

ReplyDeleteYeah. I think I used too many 2019-2020 sources who were reporting on Los Jaguars recent incursion into those areas, which may have been quelled by La Linea now. Will keep researching and redoing the maps as I go.
DeleteHave you updated these maps as of 2023 and the new members and deceased ones?

ReplyDeleteby whom? what source? seems like a "i don't like it" if you don't provide the proof bro.
DeleteHearst your articles are well organized and has lots of information. Nice phrases with abundant of info. Keep going.. just an off topic doubt, do CDs or cjng or any big cartels controls Mexico City ? If I'm not wrong no big violence is being reported from Mexico City, except small gang issues. Which cartel controls MX city ?
ReplyDeleteKathi
Thank you. My understanding is that Mexico City has many cartels operating within it currently.
DeleteThe cartel most people associate with Mexico City is La Unión Tepito. However there is also Fuerza Anti-Unión, or "Forces Anti Unión Tepito", one of their main rivals. The CJNG is rumored to be arming Fuerza Anti-Unión right now. These are just some among many of cartels in MC.
There are also street gangs that run micro-trafficking operations just like in other cities like Juarez and Tijuana. In Mexico city groups like the Tláhuac Cartel and Los Rodolfos come to mind.
Thanks for the reply Hearst. Is there any possible specific reason why cjng/cds/lfm never tried moving to MX ? Is la tepito union that powerful to counter giant cartels ? Is the fear due to government function from there ? Thanks again, this is new info for me
DeleteKathi
All excellent questions. I don't think I know enough about Mexico City right now to give you any comprehensive answers but I can recommend these overview articles that link to many other sources with further details. :)

Simply amazing work you're doing HEARST. Would love to see a post in this series for CDG and Tamaulipas in general as they are very fragmented.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to do it. You guys just gotta comment and tell MX how much you want to see it because there is no way I could do it without his help. Haha
DeleteLos parades have been around way before 2004
ReplyDeleteThe sentence says they were recruited around 2004-2005. Not that they came into existence in 2004. :)
