Video of a Woman Being Kidnapped in Apatzingán, Michoacán

"HEARST" for Borderland Beat

Today, video footage emerged of a kidnapping of a restaurant owner that took place in broad daylight in Apatzingán city, Michoacán.

Noventa Grados reports this kidnapping occurred around noon on Sunday, June 27 2021. The timestamp on the surveillance footage shows a time of 10:07 AM (however surveillance cameras are notorious for having time stamps that are off from the actual time).

In the footage three men can be seen dragging a woman towards a gray compact car, possibly a Nissan make vehicle, that is parked outside of the restaurant "El Sinaloense" which is located on Constituent Boulevard, in the La Florida neighborhood of Apatzingan.

Noventa Grados reports that the woman is the owner of the restaurant.

(Recommend viewing the video on mute as the sound is distracting, unrelated background noise.)

The woman's female coworkers from the restaurant follow the men outside, watching them take her away by force, unable to stop them. La Voz newspaper reports that the men were armed. At least one of the men can be seen to be holding a firearm in the footage.

The woman being kidnapped is attempting to drag her feet however the men are able to push her forward and shove her into the backseat of the car.

A coworker wearing white and another coworker wearing orange try to get closer to the woman being taken, however the man with the Adidas hoodie walks towards them, arms outstretched, putting himself in between them and the kidnapped woman. The coworker in white is dragged away from the car by another from the crowd, back to safety.

The coworker in orange makes a forward move towards the car. Upon seeing this, the two men pause, just as they are about to get into their car. They seem to exchange words with the coworker in orange, pointing towards her.

One of the men tries multiple times to find an open seat in the car, opening and closing car doors. The car begins driving before he has gotten inside. From somewhere off screen a trash can is thrown at the vehicle in a futile attempt to stop it from driving away.

This crime reportedly took place a few meters away from the Municipal Police headquarters. Witnesses to the event report the men drove away at full speed in the direction of Uruapan.

  3. Let me take a wild wild guess, she didn't pay piso so these human scum came and kidnapped her? It's almost like, the devil comes to your doorstep and you are pretty much fucked in trying to defend yourself because either the person/group kidnaps you or kills you or you fight back with fire and you still end up losing by the court of law in lawless mexico, it's so fucked up

    1. 8:13 here you go again, lawless culero, blaming Mèxico for the crime of a few motherfackers

    2. 12:11 All what is 8:13 is true, he is not stating Mexico in general, more and the stupid laws of Mexico, we all know thier are good working, law abiding citizens getting killed. It's also true, that if you were to win and kill a bad guy, they would give you a metal, but be charged for having a weapon. Criminals have more rights. If I had to defend my life while Vin Mexico, I would do it and get out of the area, best alternative.

    3. 10:27 do not disinform,
Naming "Mèxico" the way that mophaka does de-humanizes a whole country, that is the first contemptuous behaviour before coming to exterminate it's people, as done in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Imdia, Bangladesh, Guatemala, southern Mèxico...and many many other places, it gets easier and easier when you have degraded a people for long enough with your evil campaigns...
      But thanks for trying.

    1. Why are u leaning towards this first one? Is this the first post you’ve read in the last couple of weeks about what’s going on in Michoacán?

    2. 9:14 I learned long ago that you need barricades and check points and volunteers to control the flow of criminals when shit like this happens, and that if you are not in control it is because your smart ass is getting paid to let shit fly like that.

  6. If citizens had rights to carry and defend themselves or at least business owners in Mexico, that wouldn't be a trash can thrown at the kidnappers, they could get whacked.

    1. Man i agree 100% it’s bs only the bad guys can have weapons, I live in Tx most people here have an arsenal of rifles in there home criminals always think twice about breaking in chances are you will get your head blown off.

    2. Can vouch for that

  7. Sad how Mexican citizens cannot protect them self’s by having there own weapons. This would of never happen if they could have been armed citizens.

    1. 9:19 sad that mexican thugs had to be weaponized by US merchants of death and now US fans of war want to weaponize everybody else to have more excuse to come and invade and steal everything they have used in prior opportunities

  8. MEXICO is high in kidnappings.. AMLO would most likely say IT'S safe and free of crime.. With CARTEL violence low..
Oh, yea.. Abrazos no BALASOS SMH

  9. This is CU, we all know they're desperate and can't hang on much longer.

I used to be an ALMO nuthugger but he's been a disappointment. Damn

  10. If criminals cannot be stopped by government, citizens should be armed. Criminals will think twice before robbing/kidnapping. Even if they come as group, some heads will blown off at least. Arm up Mexicans.

    1. Kathi I hope you did not see the video, you may get nightmares. I agree with you 100 percent, since the enpt government of Obrador and local law enforcement cannot help it's citizens from eminent kidnapping or death, that yes all citizens should arm themselves, there's a surplus of complicated weapons that the PGR, can give to the local citizens, to use in self defense. This lady had no chance to fight back, nor her co workers or passerby, she maybe held for ransom or worse cut up for a Manta. It was easy for the kidnappers to take no resistance from anyone. There was a time Mireales formed an autodefensa in Michoacan, but that was abolished by the government, he who was defending the town, was put in prison for 2 years for weapons violations, they also brainwashed him. Since the Cartels pay bribe money, government sent Army to arrest Mireales.

    2. Kathi, I can tell you're new to the situation, way more complicated than you think. Way more.

    3. Kathi has the right thinking, big I was in that situation, where my life is about to be taken and I am armed, I the hell will shoot back at right moment. So many Innocents are getting killed for stupid stuff. Telling Kathi your immature on the matter is not good

  11. Why do people get excited about a kidnapping, happening daily. AMLO says everything is at peace, yes in his National Palace in D.F.

  15. That is very terrible, if no one wanted to get involved, why just dial 911.: I know what someone is going to say, police could be in cullusion, with the kidnappers. I heard some state police, watch over possible curupt police. I still say 911 was a best shot.
