Federal authorities have deployed an operation in the municipality to find the two elements of the Navy who were disappeared yesterday.

Police from the Jalisco state Public Security Secretariat located the vehicle in which two elements of the Mexican Armed Navy were moving yesterday before being kidnapped by members of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG) as reported by Borderland Beat.

The truck with Jalisco plates JLS-1552 is a white 2017 Jeep Wrangler, was located on the corner of Santa Anita and Agua Escondida streets in the El Campanario neighborhood in Zapopan.

So far there is no information on the location of the two elements of the Navy who disappeared yesterday. Various cells of the Mexican Armed Navy (SEMAR) have deployed a strong operation in Zapopan to locate two agents who were allegedly kidnapped by operators of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG).

From the morning of this November 17, the troops mobilized to the north of the Jalisco city, in the Virreyes neighborhood. With helicopter flights and dozens of armed trucks, the federal forces are in search of the driver corporal and the Second Infantry Master who disappeared last Monday night.

While the missing Marines were not involved with the operation leading to the arrest of El Mencho's wife, it is suspected that their daughter and son-in-law, who was in the supermarket at the time of the disappearance are behind the kidnapping. Currently, SEMAR and are searching for the missing elements.

Christian Fernando Gutiérrez Ochoa, the alleged son-in-law of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, El Mencho, is identified as the intellectual author of the disappearance of two agents.

Naval intelligence sources confirmed to Infobae Mexico that the image of the suspect is the one that began to circulate on networks after the arrest of Rosalinda González Valencia. According to reports, Christian Fernando acted in retaliation for the arrest together with his partner, Laisha Michell Oseguera González, daughter of the top leader in the CJNG. She, 20, and he, 24, would have ordered the kidnapping of the sailors in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart in Zapopan.

Just as Laisha Michelle Oseguera González belongs to a family of the main leaders of the CJNG, Christian Fernando Gutiérrez Ochoa would be the son of José Luis Gutiérrez Valencia, Don Chelo, killed in Tonalá by Semar in 2017 and who took over the Puente Grande prison. In 2018, the then Attorney General's Office reported the arrest of Luis Fernando Gutiérrez Ochoa "El Tolín" who was identified as the son-in-law of Mencho.

Now the name of Christian Fernando with the same surname has come to light, as it is presumed that he would be Tolín's brother, according to the sources consulted by this medium. However, reports indicate that the partner of Laisha Michelle Oseguera González would be the subject who was at the Wal-Mart in Zapopan and not Tolín.

Misinformation regarding additional arrests, revenge plots began to appear throughout WhatsApp. 

This Wednesday, November 17, a chain began to circulate in the instant messaging application WhatsApp where it is stated that there will be an alleged attack, perpetrated by the criminal organization tonight, for the arrest of Arnulfo González Valencia. González Valencia is identified as Rosalinda's brother and, therefore, El Mencho's brother-in-law.

"A chain circulates on WhatsApp about an alleged revenge of the #CJNG tonight in Zapopan for the arrest of Arnulfo González Valencia, Rosalinda's brother and brother-in-law of 'Mencho'," the crime journalist Oscar Balmen posted on his Twitter account. The reporter claimed that the information shared is incorrect. “It is false: Arnulfo has been detained since the end of 2019 for crimes against health. Calm down.” he pointed out.

Not only him: Abigael, José, Gerardo, Arnulfo, and Ulises González Valencia, El Mencho's brothers-in-law and identified as the main operators, leaders, and members of Los Cuinis, the cartel's financiers, have already been captured by the authorities.

Arnulfo and Ulises González Valencia were sentenced in December 2019 to five and six years in prison, respectively. They had been detained in June 2018 by agents of the then-Attorney General's Office (PGR) and the Federal Police in the municipalities of Zapopan and Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco.

Víctor Francisco Beltrán García. the defendant's legal representative claimed that the Army agents and the Attorney General's Office threatened minors with rifles and even physically hurt them, in clear violation of their individual rights.
