Zetas executed by CDG in Tampico

Blog del Narco presents a video of a series of photographs which appear to show the apprehension and execution of several members of the Zetas by the Gulf cartel in Tampico, Tamaulipas.

The video mentions that some of the people shown executed were captured during an operation by by SEDENA (Secretary of National Defense) but were later released.

Among those captured were men and women who worked directly for a man identified as Comandante Quique, de Los Zetas.

Veronica Treviño Molina was found decapitated after she recently appeared in an interrogation video, full story covered here on Borderland Beat.

  2. Why would the government released to the streets known proclaimed Zetas? Calderon needs a nuetral force of investigators and enforcers from outside the Mexican government, that would be the only solution at this point!

U.S. should say, no more money (Merida Intitiative) until you allow transperancy within your own government.

What a sham, it is so obvious, they must think we are all stupid!

    Heat up!
how about it BB, start making phone calls, get Buggs on the ball!

  6. Until the government agencies, politicians, military and police are cleaned up, this shit continues unabated.

I agree: no more US money until the agencies clean house and are transparent

    1. Dumb Typical yankee logic.
Tax Payers a.k.a. American drug addicts, send semi rigs full of cash to Mexican cartels. The Mexican government only wants that money by backing up a cartel and taking the money from the other in the billions yearly.
You think Mexico is gonna give that money back to America?
      Fuck no.

  7. So Romeo 1 defected the C.D.G to join Los Zetas and backstabbed Tony Tormenta because of a girl?

  8. Quit giving them names like "Tony
Tormenta", and El Barbie like they
are movie stars! They are scum and
they need to be shot on sight as soon
as they are identified. To let them
live is like letting a virus such as sidas
spread from barrio to barrio, ciudad to
    ciudad, country to country! Legalize
    drugs and exterminate the cartels!

  9. How ignorant some of you are. It seems that you scaped from CNN forums. What the US provides to Mexico via Merida initiative are pennies compared with what these cartels make. Just el Chapo is stimated to make 1 Billion dollars a year (yes with a "B"). Ignorants... please go back to CNN forums persecuting illegal immigrants... Please understand what is going on in Mexico and our border and then come and give your opinions.

  10. I am not sure if it is a Mexican billion or US billion... that will be a big difference...

  11. The issue being discussed was the potential influence of US dollars corrupting mexican govt officials, and you feel that is small compared to the drug money influence. You cite Chapo's 1 billion dollars as an example. That seems rational, but keep in mind, the US spends 40 billion/year on the drug war. (40>1) Your little rant calling people ignorant and dragging in CNN and the actual CRIME of illegal immigration however, was totally irrational and has nothing to do with the issue. Drugs should be legalized, that would fix this, but I don't see that happening. I feel terrible for the honest residents suffering from this violence, my advice is to arm yourselves and collaborate with eachother.
