One week after the governor-elect, Roberto Borge announced the appointment of General Carlos Bibiano Villa Castillo as head of State Public Security, two narco-messages were found threatening the life of Villa and warning that Cancun can become as violent as Tamaulipas.
The two messages were found next to a decapitated and dismembered body in a vacant lot in the residential area of the city.
The messages read:
“ESTABAMOS TRANQUILOS PERO NOS DESPERTARON. ESTE ES UN REGALITO PARA TI Y LUEGO SIGUES TU VILLA. ATTE. FEZ”.
“CHAPULINES, PANUCHEROS, RATAS, CHAROLEROS, ALINIENSE LEY, SI NO QUIEREN UN TAMAULIPAS EN CANCUN. SIGUEN USTEDES. ATTE. FEZ”.
“CHAPULINES, PANUCHEROS, RATAS, CHAROLEROS, ALINIENSE LEY, SI NO QUIEREN UN TAMAULIPAS EN CANCUN. SIGUEN USTEDES. ATTE. FEZ”.
We were calm, but not anymore. This is a little gift for you, You're next Villa.
Signed: FEZ"
(independent) Dealers, Vendors, Thieves, pseudo-Zetas/wannabes,: Get in line law (lawman), unless you want a Tamaulipas in Cancun, You're next. Signed: FEZ (Zetas Special Force)
On 12 March, Borge announced the appointment of General Villa, who served as chief of police in Torreon, Coahuila, as head of the Ministry of Public Security of Quintana Roo.
The governor-elect said the appointment reflected the need to address drug trafficking and corruption of the police forces in the northern areas of the state.

ReplyDeleteBecause for the majority of us is new news, you ungrateful whinner! Come on BB, quit allowing these kind of post clutter the comments section, they are all over and are off topic, adding nothing to the discussion! It's the same troll, trying to undermine BB and you allow it?
Until you can cite media outlets that publish coverage as consistently well and comprehensively on Mexican drug violence as BB does.... maybe you should go out there in the fray, get fresh info. that surprises even jaded you and report back to us.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion BB kicks ass and I appreciate all their efforts to publish the stories as soon as they come in. Keep up the good work guys, I'm always looking forward to what the new day brings to the site.
