You said that well. All I can say to that is ditto and NRA can't you see something isn't working?
ReplyDeleteFuck you, 7:11 Mexicans will get guns no matter what. Do you want to make it the same in the US, where guns are illegal and the only people with them are the criminals? Your an idiot! If Mexico wanted to stop the flow of guns, they would actually TRY to search vehicles and people coming south. Instead they cry, bitch, and blame everyone else while expecting us to do it. Mexico is it's own problem and has become a shit spot on Earths surface do to their greed and lack of compassion for ANYONE. Keep up the work NRA!! I may not agree with %100 of what they stand for, but I am glad there is a group that recognizes what happens when guns are illegal to those who obey the law.
ReplyDeleteThe NRA is one of the main reasons we Americans still have a 2nd amendment, as we know it. Who are you people that think the State can provide law order and protection?? I guess thats all you know. As far as gun control goes if you like that just look how well it has worked in Mexico.
ReplyDeleteThis post is political horse crap.
ReplyDelete@ 8:45 no fuck you the usa is the most greedy nation on earth all those oil wars and the usa blames everyone else for problems in the world the usa does have a hand in Mexico's situation
ReplyDeletejust like the evolutionists who have created a pseudo religion called atheism, we have
ReplyDeleteanti gunners that believe the guns are the problems without recognizing that some people are born to be bad and will find a way to do evil with or without a gun. do you anti gunners forget the fire bombing that killed 52 in one casino in a matter of minutes.
2nd Amendment for the Drug Cartels!.. NRA is only for the uneducated hill billy rif rafer redneck, NOT for the educated gun owners.
ReplyDeleteLike it or not the 2nd amendment is doing well in the courts. The biggest threat to guns now comes from the Patriot Act witch was written by conservatives.
ReplyDeleteWhy dont you kids stop droppin F-bombs it doesnt make you look smart, this website is for people to see facts that are around us not for us to argue about, after all you probably voted for O-bla-bla as pres and now that you see he cant del what he promised you and now your upset. Take your foodstamps and head to the dollar store already and hush it.
ReplyDelete100% in favor of keeping 2nd amendment. Someone close to me use to work for an unnamed cartel organization and hes told me "if we didnt get them from usa, we get them through el salvador, guatemala via china or the middle east, where there is a will there is a way. Usa is not greedy, we are smart. Im not going to appologize for having the 2nd amendment, viva NRA! This coming from a mexico born, now turned us citizen. Mexico does nothing to stop th flow of drugs up north. Its a two way street, stop the blame game. Did usa blame canada for al capone? no we dealt with him...now mexico has to grow some and fight it in their own political party and realize its mexicos problem, mexico caused it (70 years of corruption and counting), mexico let it get this way, then they fail to notice that they were the once turning the ind eye. So after years of playing the "aint nothing happening here, move along" card, it dont work no more and now they look else where to place blame. Easy as hell to blame the superpower nation with tons of money, they want more green bills as pitty. Do we blame mexico for bringing drugs? Dont blame our users, not our fault our country has more money and more free time, cry me a river and get ovef it...USA #1
ReplyDeleteNo-bama
ReplyDeleteGUNS do not kill people
ReplyDeletePeople kill.
DRUGS do not kill people.
People kill.
Legalize guns and drugs.
Put criminals behind bars.
I look to BLB for information about the conditions in Mexico and along the border.
ReplyDeleteThe "Interceptors" doesn't fit.
BTW I am an NRA Life Member who doesn't fit the "uneducated, red neck etc." Which is a BS description of the membership.
When the comments digress as rapidly as these, someone really hit a nerve.
@11/20 11:11PM,
ReplyDeleteDude shut the fuck up with your little girly whining. What a bitch! Here's a thought..the drug war in Mexico isn't about guns..it's about money, greed, corruption, and power. Damn open your eyes and stop blaming the U.S. for Mexico's problem, which has been around for decades..asshole! I'm not a gun toting big NRA fan but the reason this shit isn't happening extensively in the U.S. is because gun ownership is legal!! Things would be completely different in Mexico, if the average Mexican could own at least a shotgun.

ReplyDeleteHa, ha, he sees the facts around him. This is what happens when you drop a political post on Borderland Beat. Ok, second guess, who is this website for?
Haha, blame Obama or Bush but in reality both of them dropped the ball in Mexico. I love how people call Obama a bleeding heart liberal that is too scared to deal with bad guys. Under his presidency both Bin Laden and Qhaddafi were killed. He is just like Bush, the only difference is that he is not stupid enough to send thousands of troops to get rid of one guy. The whole republican=bad and democrats=good, or vice versa, BS will not cut it in the future. They are using our emotions to keep us divided and fighting for nonsense like abortion and religion in our school.
ReplyDeleteFor example, tea party member and occupy wall street members, both of them want to stop corporate greed in one way or another. It is the means that differ and it is keeping them separated, but by the end of the day, the ends of both groups are very similar.
Keep looking through your red or blue eyeglasses as this country's economy keeps declining.
11/21 7:06AM,
ReplyDeleteVery sound and smart advice. Now, you should follow your own advice..."practice what you preach." You just lectured people on here with regards to arguing and making off subject comments. Than you put a comment about "Obama" and "food stamps" and "trailer park." Which is also another thing that doesn't make you look smart.
@ 8:45 PM The second amendment existed 100 years before the NRA.
ReplyDelete80% - 90% of the weapons they are getting come from a few Texas and Arizona and Californian gun dealers along the border. The NRA sees the drug war as an opportunity to sell more guns.
No other state has produced more guns seized by police in the brutal Mexican drug wars than Texas. In the Lone Star State, no other city has more guns linked to Mexican crime scenes than Houston.

ReplyDeleteNo need to blame Mexico or the U.S.
You might want to consider that the lion share of profits goes to entities north of the border. Put it this way, do you think we would let anyone come in here and take a mega billion dollar annual market?
Also, I'm not NRA and I don't think guns should be illegal but most people are idiots in their gun use from the home to hunting. I'v been around guns all my life.
Mexico could legalize guns right now but the war would go on unabated. Its a very complex mess.
Lastly, whats with the name calling? Christ, chill.
11/21 11:11AM,
ReplyDeleteSo, what's your point? And your comment makes no sense. Mexico is 100% to blame for this mess. Absolutely!! For decades corrupt Mexican gov't has allowed DTO to operate for the most part with impunity and it would probably still be that way, if KiKi Camerana would not have been murdered. Think about it..you actually have some former top gov't officials like that piece of shit ex-president Fox suggesting Mexico legalize the drug trade and make peace with the DTO's..WTF! What happens in Mexico is Mexico's responsibility..the US doesn't run the Mexican Gov't. You don't like the US bringing guns into Mexico..than secure your border..
Slappy,
ReplyDeleteYour statistics reflect that you are way out of touch. Check the Strafor article for better information.
BTW Mexico has a "second amendment." The power players are afraid to let the people own guns.
Article 10: The inhabitants of the United Mexican States have a right to arms in their homes, for security and legitimate defense, with the exception of arms prohibited by federal law and those reserved for the exclusive use of the Army, Navy, Air Force and National Guard. Federal law will determine the cases, conditions, requirements, and places in which the carrying of arms will be authorized to the inhabitants.
As I have said before mexicans don,t want guns...that is except the criminals
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to shoot a POS drug dealer. Better they know not to get comfortable.
ReplyDeleteWell I am not NRA supporter but i know the DEA was the ones who gave the Cartels the weapons even in the interagtion of el wacho they asked him who was going to give you the guns he responed the other side meaning USA the government was....
ReplyDeleteMajor rule in American gun laws. "No FELON may possess or purchase firearms" Can the liberals who want more gun control please explain how that law isn't working? Short answer they don't legally buy the firearms. So what would happen if we had stronger gun laws? Same thing that is happening now. You just keep thinking that written laws are magical and will keep everyone from breaking them. Rules are made to be broken, otherwise you wouldn't have prisons. That said how is the NRA profiting from firearms "sold" in Mexico when it isn't even a gun manufacturing company. Second if Mexico really cared about the problem they would have secured their border more tightly. As a "hispanic" I don't want to loose my rights because a bunch of Mexicans can't behave themselves and because the other bunch plays the blame game without actually doing anything about.
ReplyDelete@ November 21, 2011 11:11 PM .At least there is a few hispanics, who have a bit of common sense.Blaming the USA for all your ills is so stupid. Its Mexico's problem,no one else, they made it themselves.STOP BLAMING THE USA FOR YOUR PROBLEMS.
