A
collaborator of SEIDO with the alias “Pitufo” [smurf] reports that in 2004, the leaders of the Gulf Cartel and the Zetas, integrated
as one group at that time, held two meetings with Tamaulipas politicians
agreeing to 25 million dollars payment for their protection and assurances benefitting
Lazcano’s group, [CDG/Zetas].
On
March 2, 2012 the witness gave a statement, according to the witness, it was the second known meeting that was conducted between
Torre Cantu, whom was later killed in Ciudad Victoria.
From
the witness:“It was the end of April 2004, in “La Quinta”, a ranch owned by Ali Rodolfo Lara Najera, one of the secretaries of Tomas Yarrington, located approximately at Kilometer 7 of the highway Victoria / Matamoros. I acknowledge that it belongs to Ali because Ricardo Gamundi Rosas (ex leader of PRI in Tamaulipas) told me so.”
“Eugenio
Hernández Flores, Ricardo Gamundi Rosas, Rodolfo Torre Cantú, Fernando
Alejandro Cano Martínez, Daniel Pérez Rojas aka "El Cachetes",
Rogelio Díaz Cuéllar aka "El Rojo", Antonio Galarza Coronado aka 'El
Amarillo', were present at the meeting, with
Heriberto Lazcano Lazcano being the one speaking,” [this implies there is a
recording]
According
to the protected witness, he was transporting from Valle Hermoso to Ciudad
Victoria, 10 suitcases containing 25 million dollars, which were shown to
Eugenio Hernandez, whom after sending a message of thanks to Lazcano he ordered
to put the money filled suitcases in a white suburban.

- The Attorney General's Office (PGR) is
the agency that investigated the murder of Rodolfo Torre Cantú,46, the PRI
candidate for the governor of Tamaulipas. The agency revealed that his death was
ordered by Heriberto Lazcano Lazcano “The Lazca” , leader of the
criminal group Los Zetas for failing to agree with requests of the
criminal organization

The ambush
against Torre Cantú "was perfectly planned and executed, which included a
narco monster truck with automatic
weapons, gunmen opened fire on the motorcade of the candidate, as he headed to an event in the closing days
of the campaign.
Lazcano and Torre-Cantu both now dead |

I am confused, didn't 'el Coss' admit he ordered the hit?? Were the zetas/cdg split at that point?
ReplyDeleteYou can never get a clear story out of Mx.
WAGES OF SIN = DEATH
ReplyDeleteWhen CDG and Z where allied they where receiving protection from the PRI, but when they split CDG and Z most of the PRI in Tamaulipas where still allied with both Cartels.
ReplyDeleteThen shit started to heat up Coss and the rest of the gulf wanted to take full control of the pri in Tamaulipas that caused the death of Torres Cantu,It seems that Torres Cantu didnt want the CDG to take full control of Tamaulipas cuz all of the PRI players had a really good relationship with Lazca and 40.
Great job CHIVIS!
ReplyDeleteWow . . . PGR in bed with the cartels for a whopping 25 millions.
Do you know if the "Protected Witness" is in Mexico or the U.S.? Thank you . . .
Why do you want to know where the protected witness is HAHA I bet I know why.

ReplyDeleteIt says in the story they were still together.Lazcano was undisputed leader of Z and gaining in power and influnece. In any case CDG/Zetas were a team and didn't split till much later.I wonder if the amount of money mentioned is actually true?$25 million in suitcases, that is serious money, and hard to believe? But,who naigows?
Isn't it about time the official DNA results came out, so we can properly celebrate Lazcano's death? Hopefully it won't be long until Z40 is killed too!
ReplyDeleteZetas broke from the CDG in the end of 2006. That just goes to show you how powerful the Gulf Cartel was when it was still aligned with the Zetas. 25 million dollars is not chicken scratch.
ReplyDeleteWhat? A Mexican politician taking bribes? Never. No way. Mexicans are too honest and have too much character….hahaha. Can't even write that without laughing.
ReplyDeleteOne of the many examples " Dick Cheney's personal wealth increased 20 times over while he was Vice-President of the USA, wow I assume American politicians are paid millions of dollars as salaries per year and that's why they are very honest"...LMAO, hahahahaha very honest USA.
DeleteBlame the "dead guy".
ReplyDeleteI know this is 3 day old news..I was not able to finish translation yesterday. Paz, Chivis
ReplyDeleteI was also stunned by the amount of money, even though it was split between the group it is seemed like nothing for CDG to just hand it over.
ReplyDeleteWhy is everybody so stunned about the amount of money??? The CDG/Zetas could easily come up with that kind of money. That the governor requires that much money may seem a lot, but for sure he would have to disseminate it throughout his own administration so in the end only 1-5 million is left for the top brass. Makes sense, no?
ReplyDeleteCDG very greedy and jealous of zetas hehe.
ReplyDelete25mil isn't hard to believe.. It's a drop in the bucket compared to what they stand to gain for having complete control in the area
ReplyDeleteid love to hear that recording,
ReplyDelete25 mil to those dudes in their prime, was like 250 dollars to a regular person...
ReplyDeleteWho cares one dead corrupt polititican and one dead zeta leader... yawn*
ReplyDeleteEl Coss and Tomas Yarrington ordered the murder of Torre Cantú not Lazca
ReplyDeleteI wonder was was the time period covered by those 25 mils, awesome article thank you! ROCKO
ReplyDeleteAnd moreria says he wants to go after cartels property and money. More smoke and mirrors to cover his evil deeds.
ReplyDeleteDon't make a deal with Lazcano; you die!
