9.4 Tons of Marijuana Confiscated Was Chapo's Loss

Borderland Beat

The discovery occurred in an abandon mechanic workshop on the TJ street of Tehuacan in the colonia Ejido Francisco Villa.
The 9.4 tons of marijuana confiscated by the State Preventive Police in the border town of Tijuana allegedly belongs to the Sinaloa Cartel.
The assumption of ownership of the confiscation being the Sinaloa cartel was due to the name “Beny” that appears on some packages, and  Beny  is identified as collaborator of the Sinaloa cartel, a  criminal organization lead by the drug trafficker Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman.
Some packages had red spray paint and the name “Capulin”, but others were marked with a number representing its weight.
It was not verified if the weight was the correct one since the weighing of the drug was in total of all packages confiscated.
Authorities colluded  that after  the collection of the drug, it gave a weight of 9 tons with 43 kilograms.
The drug packages were not uniform in weight, size or shape. .

    1. Well I always said tijuana has something to do with these losses its always in tijuana strange cds should have taken tijuana out long ago seeing that tj is weak but cds gave em the benefit of the doubt by paying tj a tax to pass their goods thru in the name of a good buisness relationship but id have to say tj been setting up cds to take the hits interesting to see what happens next ?

  7. You do know that this weed was previously confiscated by the Mexican military RIGHT??
The weed was marked by the authorities with spraypaint after it was weighed. The plot thickens.. Death to cartels..

  9. Marijuana is not a drug. I don't smoke it or care for it but in my past I have come across more violent drunks than pot heads.

  10. yeah and in my past i have seen pot as a stepping stone to harder drugs till rehab and death.
i am not crazy about the idiots who drink drive kill maim rape rob etc etc. it would not bother me in the least if alcohol and pot were no longer available for use.

    2. That's because of prohibition. If marijuana was legal than you would have no need to buy from shady dealers who also sell hard substances. That's how the gateway theory is so prevalent, most people get offered new drugs. It's not about chasing the next high, it's about drug dealers pushing hard narcotics while pushing soft stuff like marijuana.

  11. Those bales look way off.looks like they've been sitting around somewhere for a while with all the heavy packaging stripped off.and they don't look like chunky 22 lb midgrades, just crappy regs.wouldn't surprise me if they kept the good ones from the bust in 2010 of 100+ tons in tj and this is the remnants kept for pr purposes.them blocks don't look right.

  14. Chapo isidro has been sent to baja California to heat up Los cabos and take over maybe he already has an alliance with caf? since we know the beltrans leyvas also moved shipments through TJ and Mexicali back in the days when they worked with mayo and chapo

  15. well the word onthe ms longmire website is that alot of cds group sent to secure shipments have betrayed each other like tigre and aquiles and macho prieto already caught was also flying solo all the groups were suppose to pay aquiles and sentback to chapo heres the funny part ad why the war will break out el caf gets there pay but the other groups dont pay aquiles they give the money to the afo thats a sign of wanting to be independent thats a sign of war but el caf has grown in numbers and believe ornot bigger than before i personally dont want to see a war but thats what its looking like imaging caf beltran zetas juarez caf alliances and add on cells of chapo wanting to be independent wow thats a fckn mess

longmire seems like a nice lady but she knows nothing and does not have a presence in Mexico. Never has had one. Her information is rehash from other journalists, and no depth. I could not finish her book it was so bad, and 'feather light' go with people like Grillo, Grayson people that analyze their own information.

about CAF and CDS everyone thought the alliance would hold, not true alliances never hold, they are good until the stronger gets what their target was. as for tigre..once a trader always unstable that was no surprise. i swear narcos can't be trusted, imagine that

  18. It's held this long, the alliance will last.

I agree with you about Longmires' book. It does seem 'feather light'. There are several other authors better than her when it comes to narco books. The way she rights reminds me of a line from one of the Bourne Identity movies where the CIA chick is told that she "talks about this stuff like she read it in a book" or from a 10,000 foot view.

  20. Chivaz- yet another great article. Any amount of poison removed from our streets is a good thing. Maybe one innocent won't die due to the greed, violence, and chaos created by drug traffickers. On another more persoal topic, I was reading an old article and the posts from an article you had written. Some nutjob was calling you and other BB reporters liars etc. Really going after you. It made me so badly for you. I wanted to reach out to you and let you know there are many people are grateful to you and BB. And,we do care about the madness in Mexico and all the innocents. Being a cancer survivor and knowing what all is entailed in getting well, raising a family, having a job and trying not to go crazy..my heart goes out to you. You appear to be a strong, courageous woman and you' ve got what it takes to win. You are in my prayers and I'm sure we all will hear good news soon. God bless you and tbe innocents in Mexico Your amigo, Texas Grandma.

  21. "El Aquiles" de CDS is major factor in Tijuana and surrounding areas. Especially in east and in US side Otay Mesa. The most advanced and sophisticated underground tunnels the world has ever seen. Litterally, shit that changed the game. Bricks with
    Captain America stickers? That's Aquiles........recognize.

  22. Im sure it will be little lost to them..they will be shiping another load tomarra and the next day.

  23. Aquiles IS a major factor in TJ, that´s true, BUT Aquiles is closer to CAF than it appears, remember that Aquiles started in the "bussiness" way back with the OG AFO guys. CDS really doesn´t control TJ, CAF is letting them be, but sooner or later war will break again, the last 11 guys killed in 9 hrs are a good sign of it.
