Diego Antonio Espinoza Leyva's career began at age 17 singing with the group Amantes de Sinaloa, while working in a restaurant and doing private performances. Over the years he found the opportunity to start a Norteño band Escolta de Guerra where he stayed for a time. The group matured and he started to work full time on his next effort.
The Attorney General of Sinaloa has closed the bar during this investigation.
At the scene, forensic experts collected 36 shell casings 9mm, AK-47 or "goat horn" and "cop killers." Authorities at the scene said that by the evidence found, apparently there may have been more people who they believe were translated in private vehicles to different hospitals.
Milenio, Vivavoz, musica
¿Did they kill them because of their last names?
ReplyDeletethat's great news for the rest of the band . they now have new material to sing about !!
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone knows this wasn't narco related. Ppl are gna say "chapo is losing". This matter was about the women.
ReplyDeleteIs sad that singers can cause stress on some stupid killers, just because they sing this or that song, songs that mention their rivals or some other things that encounter offensive to their bussines or affairs, I will always find this the dumbest thing ever.
ReplyDeleteSad they lost there life ! But the music industry is not loosing or our ear drums !
ReplyDeleteGracias Chivis- Su post es muy informativo y interesante especialmente para mi por k no puedo decir
ReplyDeleteI'm just waiting to hear people blame corridos. Can't someone be at the wrong place at the wrong time without blaming corridos?
ReplyDeleteAny word havana on who this group was affiliated with? referring to the armed suspects .
ReplyDeleteWho cares???
ReplyDeleteNot your family or friend, so you could care less. That's the problem in Mexico. I mean the world.
DeleteI don't think that it is random violence by unknown persons. It has the hallmarks of an orchestrated hit so it is of significance. Singer assassinations in Mexico have been for singers praising/ glorifying a rival, saying something to offend a narco loser or for playing at a rivals party. 'La Barbie' said it best in referring to these killings "son unos estupideses". Any narco that whacks a musician is showing weakness and pettiness. Since Mexico is largely unable to reign in the criminals they will be dealt with by God on Judgement Day.
ReplyDeleteHavana stuffs so much in a post, you can't finish most of them in one sitting like a properly made hoagie!
ReplyDelete"I hope everyone knows this wasn't narco related. Ppl are gna say "chapo is losing". This matter was about the women."
ReplyDeleteyou could be right. and sometimes you know, you wonder how many of these killings are for personal reasons instead of the narco's. with all of the violence in Mexico, it's not hard for a person to cover up murder.
still just the same ... too many musicians are dying. it's a sign of a very bad sickness in society. all they do is make life a little happier.
Yes, I agree. I know of people in tijuana that settles personal matter amd they simply wrapped them up in carpets and threw them in a ditch. The next day the news would say that it was another dead narco. No one hesitates to murder in Mexico. They're in a bar and some minor scuffle or jealousy can lead to murder. Sad sad sad!
DeleteAqui quien sufre es la familia.....dos primos y demaciado jovenes!
ReplyDeleteThis is over musical taste
ReplyDeleteWho cares that music is an embarrasment to Mexico.
ReplyDeleteWell that (Corridos) have been around since the Mexican Revolution
DeleteYea but they wouldnt be singing about narco n killing n cuttin ppl heads off. They shouldnt b singing to ppl that dnt deserve a corrido.
DeleteYa i know my corridos, Benjamin Argumedo, Lino Rodarte, Siete leguas all Revolution corridos. This new narco corridos about chopping bodies, death squads and Ak's just isnt the same.... es basura y pa Mexico es una verguenza
DeleteWell the corridos now just say what's going on like bb but just singing
DeleteI agree. even tho thats whats really happening now in Mexico. but singers shouldnt b singing about that.
DeleteThey still have dirt roads on Culiacan,!?!?...with all that damn $$$ floating around.now you should do a story about that.
ReplyDeleteThese fools sang for el chapo and el mayo...where's your chapo now!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat took you so long Hater?
DeleteHaha...I was waiting for your comment! You another cds nut hugger!!! Well throw your fit like the chump cds nut hugger you are!!! These fools got killed for sing for cds....haha!!!
DeleteThat last picture is f***d up,this was probably over a woman...this war has made mexicans into total psychopaths willing to kill over nothing more than ever..Go ahead piss off a mexican in the states or in MX,I bet you when you are at your happiest moment that's when they show up and to hack off your nuts for being a prik..
ReplyDeleteMaybe it was over women. Them sicarios don't like you messing with their girl /ex-girlfriends ..who ever..
ReplyDeleteMala noche no?
ReplyDeleteHi 8:46 pm-Sure, I suppose anything is possible. I've heard nada about this case being over women. But with luxury vehicles, weapons, bullets, it was a organized crime hit, for whatever reason. I too, was thinking, it was most likely because of rival glorification due to the number of musicians who have been killed previously for the same thing. But I don't know. I'll be the first to admit it.
ReplyDeleteBut I do agree in Mexico, fingers point almost automatically to narcos for deaths that are the result of domestic squabbles. Very convenient for some people in bad relationships.
But more often than not, deaths are narco related for a while now anyway.
I never heard this was about a girlfriend, a wife, poaching or encroaching of any sort. I'm with Havana on this one and am impressed she is big enough to admit when she doesn't know something.
ReplyDelete12:50 pm- it wasn't that, people are speculating
ReplyDeleteThose killers have the death penalty, the Mexican lawmakers can't have death penalty because the murderers are their friends and employees,or their bosses
ReplyDeleteThat is some horrible music. Oompah oompah oompah. Mexico's 3 biggest problems. #1, corruption. #2, putting your used toilet paper in a trash can or on the floor next to the toilet (everywhere else in the world they flush it). #3, this kind of music. Fix those three things and you will have a prosperous nation for all.
ReplyDeleteDoes the toilet paper drive anyone besides Americans crazy? It is very tiresome process, no? Just bring the damn plumbing up to speed! First handle the corrupt gov. Which means they'll never get to the toilets.
DeleteNarcos need their sleep also!!
ReplyDeleteMusic at 4am will make anyone act funny
