I wanted to take this time to personally wish all of our Borderland Beat community a Merry Christmas!!
On behalf of all our contributors and loyal knowledgeable readers, we hope all of you are filled with joy and peace this holiday season. May you find yourselves in good health and in the company of your loved ones.
We also send our best wishes to the people in Mexico who suffer the misery of violence as a result of greed and corruption. Specifically the people of Tierra Caliente in Michoacán who have recently seen the worst that Mexico has to offer.

ReplyDeleteI know that the hollidays are worse for people that have had their families torn apart by all of the shitty behavior from both sides of the border when people tend to dig in. I would like to sayplease get some rest and hug your loved ones, im sure the new year will bring ununbelievable acts both good and bad, I also know that while we bitch scratch and scream at each other about our opinions, at least we are able to debate in this way rather than cut each other down with instruments of violence, please have a safe holliday well fed and renewed for the new year.. much love to the bb writers your efforts are very noticed and appreciated.
