3 more die in southern Chihuahua

A total of three individuals were killed on ongoing drug and gang related violence in southern Chihuahua state municipalities since last Sunday, according to Mexican news reports.

Sunday the deputy commander of the Chihuahua state police was found shot to dead on a road between Parral and Los Charco Sunday, according to a news report which appeared in the online edition of El Diario de Chihuahua news daily.

Javier Enrique Nuñez, 42 has been shot multiple times with armed suspects who used 9mm and 12 gauge weapons.  He was described as a sub commander of the State ministerial police in Villa Colorado.

Also near Parral a man in his 20s was shot to death in an apparent hit in Matamoros municipality Tuesday.

According to a news account in El Diario de Chihuahua armed suspects aboard several truck were firing on the victim, identified as Juan Antonio Barragan Noriega, 22, before he was struck with gunfire and died.

Mexican press are calling the incident a shootout, which means the victim at least tried to shoot back at his attackers.  The shootout took place near the Chihuahua state and Durango state borders.

Meanwhile in Parral Tuesday a man in his 20s being treated in a hospital was shot to death by an armed suspect.

Alejandro Julian Almanza, 24, was shot by an unidentified man who demanded to see his victim, shot him and then took the victim's cell phone.  The shooter used a 9mm semiautomatic pistol in the attack.

According to the El Sol de Parral news daily account, several dozen witnessed the shooting.

    3. Depends what plazas your asking about. This isn't a football game with a winner and loser, it's business competition for market share and the thug leader that ends up controlling the route and narcotienas is ultimately the winner - but it took Mayo years to achieve this in Tijuana. It's about attrition of lives and money to corrupt and buy policy and protection.

  4. this javier enrique nunez worked for the cds, its quite obvious la linea continues to kill off chapos left overs one by one, just how la linea said it would do...one by one. this was a strong hit to the cds in chihuahua...i see lineas strategy...keep killing off the main people from cds ,one by one, then completely take back parral, which honestly,la linea already work in parral, just a few remanants from cds left....believe me,they will get killed.. poor chapo...you will die an old man in prison and what was all these years of war for!!!! all in vane!!! cause cds did NOT take over one single plaza!!! what a shame!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. The war was won a good while ago by CDJ. This more than likely is purging attempts by CDJ on some hot pockets still controled by CDS. There are still some very strong families in that area that are alligned with CDS. CDJ is alligned with the municiple police and the state police in Chihuahua.

  9. --the juarez cartel, newly associated with the zetas, beltranes and arellanos, but more than famous for all the murders in cd juarez.
--the rutless efficiency of their police and military associates and their residential facilities, the houses of death.
--barrio boys "losing" to el chapo by killing kidnapping and disappearing the juareños themselves in cooperation with the leyzaola juarez police...
--have brought the conquering "furies" of the current military and federal police caciques to finally capture el chapo, and rule the ex-chapo turf, the sinaloa cartel and the pacific coast all the way, zeta style from the us to guatemala.lead or silver is no more, now it is o te chingas o te chingas.
-- the people's sympaties do not count, only the might of the government, and they will drill it with their mighty efficiency, weapons and ""impunity from above"" which should be the new motto of the strong arm formed by the military and federal police the DF federal satrapy directs from the top.
-- it is clearly evident, they will not have oil money, or the comision federal de electricidad.which have been privatized, and global investors do not pay taxes
--the federal police and the military must earn their keep, like the zetas; --kidnappings and extortion will be the rule on sinaloa state from now on, there are too many rich people there.
-- all the "tax breaks"granted to the global investors for cash deposits on foreign banks do not leave much blueberry pie to split with the military or federal police, who with their backs bent from so much bending to kiss the government bigwigs' asses , go around applying the gestapo techniques to the mexican population at will.
--military, police, active or inactive, dedicated to committing crimes under military discipline which they confuse with "serving the country" without questioning or asking pendejadas, the military way of the coward/ignorant repressive government forces combos " just following orders" excuse.
--since pena nieto started his political campaign, the priista fueled murders and disappearances started to accelerate, now that he is the supreme fuhrer, the fosas start to appear, hanging to the hands of the police and SOLDIERS that come to "save" them from their graves, and then never go...
--carcasses are appearing that started disappearing after pena nieto took over as president, now he comes with his nazi detail to"save" the communities from the regional cartels, disappearing more people, blaming one cartel or another, to prove how much his police and military intervention is needed...
--bullshit and more bullshit, fed to the people as atole con el dedo,
-- like the zetas before, the new police and military that the federal government can not support, must go and earn their keep at the expense of the mexican people, all over the country.
--el mayo was wrong, nothing will be the same, it will all get worse.
-- with the military and the new pistolas the Mierda Initiative provided, after genaro garcia luna and the US weapons manufacturers and middlemen took their cut behind the mexican flag
--against the people behind the Virgin of Guadalupe's Standard, and the photos of malverde and el chapo and el Santo Niño de Atocha, and a few golden plated ak47s and r15s, sling shots and rusty knives...
--it will be a long time before the mexican people catch up with the vendavals of history, the daily count of crimes, dead and wounded, is very important, but we are very wrong if we keep thinking that is the job, and that is it, try and apply your data and statistics to questios about what, why, when, who, etc etc, the dead and the disappeared are still talking to us, let's listen...

  10. only the army and the federal police of mexico could extend crime, kidnappings, extortions and disappearances so thoroughly all over mexico, and blame so expertly cartel such and so, pointing fingers here and there, as expertly as viejas chismosas, the government boys have been fighting crime since the PAN took the presidency, for twelve years crime went up and up, paving the return of the pri, to the presidency, now the military and police are about to collect and cash in on the murders they themselves committed or instigated...by stealing the cartels businesses, zeta style!!!

  13. Chapo Cheerleaders. Go to Juarez or Chihuahua City and spout off your cheerleader slogans about Chapo and the Gente. I dare you. Or just go there and say you are down with Chapo. LOL You are clueless about that Plaza and it's long history. Totally clueless. You would be dead in an alley in 2 hours or less. Evil lurks in those cities and it isn't Chapo. It is for real gangsters that don't put their names up in song and all over the news. It is about taking care of business in the Plaza. These are the same people that ran Chapo, Calderon and 10,000 troups out of town a failure. Ckapo lost that war and never had control of the plaza. Cheerlead on Sinaloa articles, not Chihuahua. The difference in Amado Carrillo and Chapo is night and day. Amado made it known if anyone ever wrote a song about him, they were dead. Chapo pays them to write songs. In the 90s and 2000s you did not whisper the name La Lenea because they did not want fame nor heat.
