This morning, the Mexican Navy and Army apprehended Ricardo
Enrique Santillan Trejo, aka "El Ricky".
Santillan is responsible for hundreds of deaths, kidnappings, mass graves, extortion
and disappearances.
Allegedly, he is responsible for the kidnapping of truck drivers, then boiling or incinerating
the bodies.
Santillan was arrested in Colonia Independencia, (Mante). .Mexican armed forces
led the operation that evolved into a shootout and ended with the capture.
Santillan, who also used the monikers; "Comandante Mante, and El Rikis, was the Mante Plaza chief overseeing, Mante, Gomez Farias ( El Cielo), and El Limón. Along with Santillan Cesar Ruiz Torres alias "la chica" was arrested.

El Canas set up his capture. Ricky was bringing to much heat in Reynosa. And the Zetas have alot of weight that's not moving fast enough. He holds the plaza in Cuahiilla And parts of Texas from Miguel aleman to del rio. But Del Rio is hot with law. He is trying to move more East towards Frontera chica and word has it that he has deals with some former Cdg who formed their little group. They have been moving dope thru Zapata on Highway 16 where they easily pay off the ranchers to go around the checkpoint. He grew up with the Treviños. 42 is in Guatemala working with the cartel down there to buy n distribute coke, meth and mota. I know this cuz my cousins work for canas. He is real low profile. Z40 left him with instructions in case of his capture. He is not a violent man but has his sicarios incase needed. By the way, canas is married to the Treviños cousin.

The Zs are not as strong as they once were. They are still moving dope but have lost a lot of connections in the US. So many have left the organization cuz bosses are not paying they are however moving south to other states in Mex. They still work but are much weaker and are extorting more people. On the dope side, they are not as strong as they used to be after Z40 and his brother in the US were busted.
