"El Alemán": Another CDG Leader falls in Tamaulipas

Chivis Martinez for Borderland Beat

Through a special operation conducted on Wednesday,  July 16 at the Rio Bravo-Reynosa highway on the junction to Matamoros, elements of  State Police, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of the Navy and Federal Police captured suspected leader of  CDG,  who operated in the municipalities of Valle Hermoso and Rio Bravo.

Arrested is Miguel Angel Aleman Salinas,  aka “El Aleman”,  who was accompanied by four other men in a vehicle traveling on the highway mentioned above,   when they were detected by the security forces  that comprise  the Coordination Group of Tamaulipas.

The other detainees are Israel García Rojas, Raul Villarreal Rodriguez, Manuel Rodriguez and Victor Hugo Hernández Gutiérrez Ortiz.

Aleman Salinas and his accomplices, were detected by state troopers acting suspiciously, as they  closely watched a special operation that federal and state forces were conducting on the aforementioned highway.

Following the arrest, a group of  armed men  tried to rescue the alleged criminal leader and his companions, but the rapid coordination between Army, Navy, Federal Police and State Police circumvented  the rescue.

A lock was terminated by authorities that allowed access to satellite communications used by  the suspected criminals.

The detainees were turned over to a Federal Public Prosecutor for investigations.

Aleman Salinas was a member of GRUPO ESPECIAL DE REACCION INMEDIATA or "GERI", a ministerial police agency in Tamaulipas.
"El Alemán" is the brother-in-law of "Juan Perros" Juan Miguel Rodriguez Garcia (above) and son in law of Juan Manuel Rodriguez Rodriguez (below left).

Both Rodriguez men were recently arrested and were on the Tamaulipas most wanted list.  “Juan Perros ” was the leader of  the CDG group “Panteras” operating in Rio Bravo and part of Reynosa.

Rodriguez Rodriquez was the successor of Mario Armando Ramirez Trevino, El Pelon or The X-20 , arrested in August and regarded as the leader of the Gulf cartel .

Aleman was the highest priority in this second phase of the government‘s operation to capture and disrupt criminal operations.

There are no photos of Aleman, strangely enough, because of his employment with the state agency,  other than the alleged photo above, which does not reveal his face. The photo was taken at his daughters Fifteenth  Birthday Gala in July, 2012.

Big thanks to Itzli, BBs go to guy for all things CDG,  for proofing this post

    1. Yes, give credit where credit is due for that foo EPN... Mexico is at the cusp of becoming into a financial power house...the middle and upper class are booming in Mexico. Thanks to EPN!!! The big question is what cartel head is he going to delegate sole power. Let's hope who ever that nigga is; he is not greedy and distribute the wealth amongst across other cartels.... Just like the 80's early - mid 90's.

Any bets???? I got a dub it's going to be BLO ... Once that guy gets out the pinta

  3. The Valor Por Tamaulipas administrator stated that El Señor (Osiel Cardenas Guillen) along with several CDG commanders did not like the leadership of Juan Perros, and that's the reason why the dad of Juan Perros, and now their brother in law Comandante Aleman have all been given to law enforcement authorities. On the other hand, currently, there is a lot of tension in Reynosa between Comandante Gafe (who used to be bodyguard of Metro 4) and Comandante Cortez. The reason is Cortez wants to put his guards and halcones in areas where Gafe controls, and this has only cause more internal conflicts. My guess is that both Comandante Chiricuas and Tachas are the two main leaders of Reynosa. However, the leader of CDG from Los Metros faction is Comandante Polimenso (Metro 60) who is very violent and has been under the radar for a while.

    1. Are you referring to Sr. Cortez or his son Jr.? M60 has been in the shadows consolidating power for a while now. He will last bc he knows how to run operations without attention. Who does Los Ciclones have left besides C-7? Is there even a single CDG boss still in power who was around when Osiel was boss? Hamburguesa maybe? I would say Sr. Cortez but many say he done. What about Flander is he still in the game? If the government isn't careful they are gonna take out the last few remaining veteran CDG bosses and create a war. Once the vets. are gone there will be no one to keep order. The CDG will fracture even further with kids trying to make a name for themselves. The infighting would decimate the CDG at which point another cartel would attempt to invade leading to nothing but all out war in Tamaulipas. The government better be careful what they wish for. Like the old idiom says "When the cat´s away the mice will play"

    2. Anyone know what 5050 or 50/50 or 50-50 means within the cartel del golfo? Just about every corrido on YouTube about the CDG mentions 5050. Is it a radio call sign? Is it code for Matamoros? Does anyone know anything about Metro 7? Is he active, or dead, or even captured? How about Ciclone 7, any info on him?

    3. Bro, I have been wondering what that stood for like 5 years. I have never noticed the Barrett before if I did it would have been common sense that it'a referring to the high cal rifle. I appreciate the reply. I just can't get down with the narco rap or 99% of the corridos. I'd love to hear some do a legit parody the ghost ridin the minivan with no no seat belt would kill. Jajajaja What's up with the CDG and all the rap? They seem to be the only cartel that puts out more narco rap than traditional corridos.

The conflict is between Sr. Cortez versus Comandante Gafe. Los Ciclones of Matamoros are led by Ciclon 7, and the Cardenas Guillen family. There are not many commanders left from the Osiel era. The last we'll respect CDG commanders are Polimenso M60, Chiricuas M85, Tachas M22, Hamburguesa, Negrito brother of (metro 3), Gafe, Chava 88, and el 98. Flander is dead he was boiled in acid back when Puma and El Gringo where killed because of the death of Metro 4.

    thanks

    1. I have a couple family members who were in Reynosa three days ago. They visited many different areas around the city with no issues. Things have been relatively quite lately but it could be the calm before the storm. I really don't think you will have any issues at all. Now of course rookie gringo drivers in Tamps. should follow some guidelines. 1) Know where you are going, and have alternate routes. Stick to major roads. No new trucks or SUVs, try to blend in and don't stare at people or vehicles. Go the speed limit, and make sure your vehicle has no stickers or decals on the back windows! That last part is imperative, I have a close friend who's brother was beaten within an inch of death a few years back for having a small "Hecho En Tamaulipas" decal on his truck. John Deere, Apple logo, even the little stick figure families could lead to problems. 3) Communicate, let your family know in detail what your plans are and where your going. The guidelines are a little extreme but once they become second nature you will be able to enjoy Tamaulipas's beauty.

  12. Eventually the Cardenas-Guillen will have control of CDG once again. Seems like they are clearly the government's favorites when it comes to CDG factions. "La Limpia" is now in process in Matamoros and slowly it has begun to spread to other major plazas in Tamaulipas, like Reynosa, Riberena, Tampico, Camargo, Mier, Rio Bravo and hopefully even Zetas stronghold, Nuevo Laredo.

    2. Which Cardenes Guillen will assume leadership? Are you referring to Osiel's sister Lilliana? Is she even in the business? So you believe Homero is really dead? No one seems to really know. Are there anymore brothers left after Homero? I have heard that Osiel has another brother that people don't realize. He was in charge of Coahuila for a number of years, based in Piedras Negras before the Z took that plaza a few years back forcing him back into Tamps. He went by Jesus Lopez "El Chucho" but everyone knew he was actually Osiel's youngest brother Jesus Cardenas Guillen. Does anyone know if this is true? Where has he been for the last 4 years and why hasn't he assumed leadership? Does anyone actually believe Osiel is still calling the shots from the most high tech super max prison in the world? I can see maybe major decisions here and there with help from his lawyer but there is no way he is making day-to-day decisions. That prison is listening and watching his every move.

(and firearms as well). but these street kids are great with knives just ask any "ghetto-ised" youngster from manchester london birmingham etc.etc. and I'm sure they can show you some horror stories. only, in UK people aren't really decapped / boiled in acid as much. it does happen though, sadly becoming more and more prevalent and random. how does an island with 70,000,000 inhabitants get all it's coke to sniff / pipe? crackheads dont get their sh*t off trees, it's imported from these very same cartels just like USA Europe Russia anywhere... my point? there will be people all over UK with links to CDS CDG zetas ndranheta camorra yakuza triads why the big surprise? your preconceptions would almost be funny if the narco situation wasnt so blatantly dark (and getting darker)...

  40. I live here in Mexico in what is called middle class. Middle class is about $1,500 to $2,500 a month. That would be considered poor in the USA. More toward the lower figure. I make about between $10 to 12 grand per month and I live good, but not great. Things are so expensive here. As an American I could not live here, as I am accustomed to, on a Mexican middle class income. These people have a couple of nice cars, and a decent house. One of my middle class neighbors is trying to save about $60 a month to buy some new curtains. Those neighborhoods are very few and far between. Just a two minute drive from my house and you are in poverty, and those neighborhoods are the less well kept, and the most dangerous. Many have poorly kept dirt roads. The poor flood the street corners begging for money. I try to time the lights as I do not like to be pressured and being called cheap. Trying to wash my windshield when it is clean, and will not stop. I do feel sorry for them and if I face to many intersections in my drive, I feel a little depressed. I can only give so much money away in a day. Then when they recognize my car each day they push a little harder because in their mind I am an easy target I guess. I give my fair share. More than most people here. TV's on Costo and things in Walmart or very expensive. I bought eggs for 1$ a dozen on sale in Utah, but not even close here. Five quartz of synthetic oil cost over $50 here and 23$ in El Paso. I hate to shop anywhere here in Mexico. If I want work done on my house it is very cheap. That is the problem, people are working for nothing. Just to eat in many cases. They can not raise the minimum wage of about $5 per day, because the slave shops would not be able to compete with China. Big Maquiladora's guarantee slave labor wages. With higher wages they will disappear and no more jobs. The bus system is incredibly packed, because people cannot afford cars, gas and insurance. The majority that do drive have no insurance. The problem Mexico does not build their own cars, TV's and electronics. They build it for the richer countries, who make the most money. They are I believe the second largest exporter of cars, but they do not reap the big money. It is the American and Europeans that make the big money because the cars are theirs. The people that work in these Maquilaroras are very poor. I know as my wife's brothers work in one, and they live in extreme poverty. Sorry as I know this is off topic, but it is in regards to another off topic post. I respect the hard working people here. I wish their was a way they could subsist in dignity. Even the poor here are amazingly wonderful people. Some people just have no idea until you live here, and associate with everyone. Richer and poorer. I actually like hanging with some of the poorer people more often, because their kindness can touch your heart and give you a warm feeling. At night the people are outside their house walking, and sitting in front of their houses. Many drinking beer. In the better neighborhoods the people are inside their air conditioned houses and their big screen TV's. On my streets it is appears to be a ghost town at night. I read the El Herldo the next day to see the violence and murders and it is not happening in the better neighborhoods. Rather where my wife's mother and her brothers live. Her mother a while back used her pistol, and shot to intruders with guns. Did not kill them. The wive's of these men were mad at her, even though their criminal husbands had guns and were trying to rob her. She went to the same hospital as the men, because they had given her a beating before she shot them. This is a little of what I see and hear and read on a daily basis. Even from my neighborhood you can often hear gunshots in the not to far distance while you are sleeping.
