A series of clashes in Tamaulipas left 19 alleged Gulf Cartel members killed. The incident occurred in the municipalities of Matamoros and Rio Bravo, where armed civilians clashed with members of the Ministry of Defence, Navy Department and Federal Police.
The first incident took place in the ejido Lucio Blanco, in Matamoros, where officers of the Federal Police were attacked by gunmen. In that incident, the federal forces killed three offenders and secured three assault rifles, 16 stocked chargers, two charger carriers, four ballistic vests, and a pickup truck reported as stolen.
In the town Nuevo Progreso, Rio Bravo, the second confrontation between elements of the Navy and several armed civilians originated and resulted in the death of nine armed civilians. The Navy secured nine assault rifles, several rounds of ammunition and two vehicles (one of them was armored).
The third incident occurred at 14:00 pm between the municipalities of Matamoros and Rio Bravo, where the Mexican Army were attacked by armed civilians. To repel aggression, they shot down seven gunmen and seized seven assault rifles, two high caliber Barrett rifles, and seven vehicles.

How do they know it was not the zetas? Which ever cartel it was doesn't matter to me anyway. Their all stupid killing innocent people but get slaughtered when confronted with real soldados! !
ReplyDeleteIf you know anything about Tamaulipas then you know that CDG has the majority of their cells concentrated in the area Reynosa and Matamoros. It could have been Zetas but highly unlikely.
DeleteI have a question Chivis. We always hear of sicarios dying, but how many government officials parish in these clashes. And I know they do die because I've heard of locals saying how they get ambushed and killed. How many of these invisible heroes have died at the hands of criminals? I understand it's not good for recruiting more Marina for the government to disclose a number but seriously there has to be hundreds that have died.
ReplyDeleteRey de Reyes was in that area so they had to create destractions so he could slip away
ReplyDeleteGuess you're right. He was in that area meeting with you. That's how you know this...

Deleteyes they fabricate numbers more often than not.
ReplyDeleteI saw this story and thought there had to have been some hits on the side of the elements, unless the bad guys had no guns.
My family n I are from Lucio Blanco I just got back from over there a while ago they killed someone called EL TOSTON meaning 50 perhaps for the rifle caliber also they believe EL CAMARON was killed also not confirmed though he is or was the plaza boss of control tamps. Rey de Reyes... R1 de Nuevo Guerreo/Mier???
ReplyDeleteCiclon 80 was killed
