3 Bodies Found in Taxi, Next Day Another in an Explorer in Acuña, Coahuila (Updated 1/2/14)

Three dead bodies were found inside a taxi in the Las Aves subdivision, for which different police corporations had arrived at the place to initiate the investigations.

The auto was found abandoned on Tuesday around 10:00 in the morning, at the corner of the streets of Las Aves and Albatros of the Las Aves subdivision.


A man and a woman approximately 35 years old were found in the rear seat, while another man also about 35 years old was in the front passenger seat and witnesses stated that the auto was left in that place around 3:30 in the morning.

Upon arriving the authorities observed the deceased inside the Nissan Tsuru automobile, 2010 model, white in color, at the center of the site of Los Aztecas.

The three people were beaten on different parts of the body and in order to determine the cause of death were sent to the Semefo for the legal autopsy.

None of the three had identification and it is expected that in the coming hours they may be reclaimed by some family member.

At the place police officers of the State Investigatory, State Accredited, State Operative, and Sedena forces arrived.

Update:

Inside a gray Explorer SUV was located a deceased person of approximately 26 years old, the body presented clear signs of beating, including injuries with a bladed weapon.

The number of people found dead increased in the last few days at this border.

The person was found inside a gray 1994 model Ford Explorer SUV.

The body was found in the rear of this vehicle that was left abandoned around 9:00 at night on Wednesday, along Santa Marta avenue in front of the little plaza of the El Periodista colonia.

At the place where said body was found, police officers of the State Accredited, State Operative, and State Investigatory, as well as Sedena forces arrived.

Yesterday morning the authorities were hoping that some family member would claim the body so that it could be identified, in the meantime it was taken by the Forensic Medical Service, the delegate of the northern zone, José Alberto Vázquez Figueroa, assurred.
