Latest Account by feds: 2 RPG fired on 2 Aircraft, 6 killed in crash, including 3 missing soldiers

Lucio R for Borderland Beat- material SEGOB

According to the government, the military Cougar helicopter gunned down last Friday  in the municipality of Villa Purification in Jalisco, was fired on by two RPG’s rocket launchers and was hit by two projectiles.

A total of six were fired at the aircraft.  This was reported by the Monte Alejandro Rubido, national security chief and confirmed by the general of the federal police of Mexico Enrique Galindo.

.They both now admit there was not an “emergency landing”, but the aircraft went down and crashed in flames.  Rubio says there were 4 aircraft in the air and CJNG shot down one, “proving their skill, or maybe just good luck.”

Further stating the missing 3 soldiers actually were in the aircraft and completely incinerated.

Rubio rays DNA studies were conducted and are complete.  Even after supposedly finding remains and sending them out for testing, a massive search for the three was in full force.

It took 4 days to admit the aircraft crashed and not landed.  They have consistently reported 18 military and police on board the aircraft, of those 3 were killed, 3 missing and the remainder injured.

How is it that a plane crash in flames, 12 survived and 3 incinerated so badly it was unknown that they were still in the aircraft?  Remember 12 survived, are they no capable of reporting what transpired with the 3 previously reported “missing?"  Call me cynical, but this is illogical.

But I could be judging the feds unfairly?  After all yesterday President Peña promised a new dawn of transparency when he signed the transparency bill.
SEGOB says these detainees are the culprits of a total of 10 attacks on Friday in  Various points of Jalisco

RPG7 In the video directly below

The reports of yesterday from Rubio was that there may have been “2” of the missing soldiers in the plane, or maybe “they ran off and are hiding”. (I swear to you the man said this)

As for the RPG, both were Russian made, one a RPG7 the other RPG22.  Reforma is reporting that two aircraft were fired on; the second aircraft was not hit. A total of nine projectiles were fired.  Of the narco convoy vehicles, at least 2 were confirmed armored, and a Ford F150 was equipped with a steel mount and a machine gun.

In one of the trucks uniforms were found.  They were camouflage with emblems that read ”CJNG High Command Special Forces".

As rumored yesterday and reported on BB, soldiers on the other aircraft saw the convoy stop, armed men exit the vehicles and position themselves for attack.  This was confirmed by Rubio today.

No images of the crash has been shared with the public.

And lastly, above are the bad guys who caused all the mayhem, they are in custody says SEGOB.

People open your eyes the biggest mafia bosses are the people of PRI. They say who goes and who stays. Chapo and Mayo the same they are just instruments. The main capo in Mexico is Salinas de Gortari. Poor people who believe these goons are the monsters of society when in reality its the Government and the U.S knows about it.

There are going to be far fewer CJNG taken alive over this. They will all resist even with their hands and feet tied. It's gonna get uglier.

    3. I think it was safe to say no by Sunday evening. But the authorities have not said one way or the other. That is the way of EPN admin. They obviously know everyone is waiting and they would 'appear' to be confidant and considerate towards their constituents if they would at the earliest opportunity to affirm or deny.

That aside they were left looking so inept against CJNG, they were not prepared as well as the cartel and Mencho has once again slithered away.

IMO federal and state forces conducting a joint operation was a mistake. federal elements should not have included Jal elements in any part of the operation. Mencho is the most careful successful strategist I have ever seen. His alliances with both state and federal police is well known, in Gro, and JalMich. Ditto for his grip on buinesses and municipalities. for EPN effort to have success it will come down to one of two things happening, curb corruption by rotating teams of fed forces (to rotate duty in short stints in one locale, permanently stationed in Jal, take over municipalities, temporarily and conduct all police duties, but vet all police. This will result in mass firings as in Ver.

they were not ready for an operation. They are capable, and have the resources, they are miserably planned, leaving much to chance, As Lucio says the intelligence was badly flawed.

On the other hand, Mencho is always prepared. To lock down 39 major points of travel in such a short time takes carefully planning. and there scores of diversion attacks throughout the region was good intelligence.

He won again. But he is not Superman. Superman does not exist, he can be captured, but unless federal forces controls corruption, the corruption Mencho relies on to keep him secure it will mean nothing just another win in the game of catch the capo, they always make us feel so good until we wake up and realize little changed because there was no check mate.

the secondary method of catching the capo is LUCK. as in follow the chocolate birthday cake that led authorities to La Tuta.

      Paz

  17. I love all these comments from people who have never seen any combat or results from combat. Helicopter crashes can be very unpredictable. I have seen CH-46 crashes (the Marines used them in VN) with all kinds of mixed results. If they blow up, it is worse since CH-46s are not easy to get out of. Hueys are a lot different. People fall out of those. Crew members (including door gunners) in Hueys are strapped in while passengers are not and passengers fall out while those strapped in stay in. You can have a range of injuries and several burned to a crisp. Even if a chopper just falls from tree top level with no fuel left on board (which I have watched) the passengers can be badly injured, with all sorts of broken parts. And to be shot from below while riding in a chopper is not a good thing. It generally goes in below and comes out above.

The Marines flew at least two CH-46s together, even for medevacs, with one providing cover from above and the other with an M-60 at the side port and one on the ramp. They still got shot down. I doubt these carried machine guns.

I'm skeptical that Lucio R. has the expertise to make any viable judgement calls about this sort of thing. And I don't recall that they said these captured people were the ones on the convoy, but were involved in starting the fires.

  23. One problem I see with all this is apeople wanting immediate answers and accounts on what happened, and officials trying to provide them with that. It usually take some time to get totals find missing if there are any and just to simply account for all persons. With criminal organizations running around all over the areas this has happened, I would find it impossible to have accuracy at this point. DNA takes a bit to receive. Everyone is criticizing for not having same day or next day answers. Most countries give it a few days but alert the public of what action they are taking to get the answers. I know there are some bad eggs in their government, but I commend these guys for even attempting to answer questions so soon after an event when it only causes these constant changes we are seeing.
