[ Subject Matter: Panochitas of the Gulf Cartel
Recommendation: Some prior knowledge of Gulf Cartel would be useful]
BEAUMONT, Texas — A former leader of Mexico's notorious Gulf drug cartel captured last year in Edinburg was sentenced Tuesday to 30 years in a U.S. prison and fined $100 million.
Juan Francisco Saenz-Tamez was sentenced Tuesday by a judge in Beaumont, Texas, on drug and money laundering convictions.
Saenz , whose cartel nickname is a vulgar Spanish term for the female anatomy, is a 23-year-old native of Camargo, across the U.S.-Mexico border from Rio Grande City. He was arrested in October during a shopping trip to Texas.
Saenz pleaded guilty in January to distribution and possession with intent to distribute cocaine; conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute marijuana; and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Saenz -Tamez confessed he smuggled half a ton of cocaine and 90 tons of marijuana, generating about $100 million, which was taken back to Mexico and reinvested into business to buy drugs and "other things", he told U.S District Judge Marcia Crone in his plea hearing.
Prosecutors say Saenz was responsible for shipping at least half a ton of cocaine and 90 tons of marijuana into the U.S. Investigators believe the drug cartel laundered $100 million.
Federal agents arrested Saenz on Oct. 9, 2014 while he was shopping in Edinburg.
Saenz replaced former Gulf Cartel boss Mario Ramirez Trevino following his 2013 arrest. Saenz rose quickly through the cartel's hierarchy — starting as a lookout, then becoming a record keeper before he became a regional plaza boss.
He'd faced charges in the U.S. since a sealed indictment was filed in September 2013, accusing him of marijuana and cocaine trafficking from Texas to the Southeast U.S. and eastern seaboard. The profits were then laundered back into Mexico.
Monitor Metro Editor Jared Taylor and The Associated Press compiled this report.

Made 100 million dollars in one year? OK
ReplyDeleteThen the US wants the motherfuckin' money, all of it, that is why panochitas was allowed to work it for a while, he gets fried for not paying Lupe Treviño his dues on time...
Millie panochas was here
DeleteI'm pretty sure the US charges them the gross value of the drugs as if it is all profit.
DeleteEl mil mascaras IS here, bajensen los cierres everybody and get in line...
DeleteServed a righteous dose of justice
ReplyDelete"Righteous"...after allowing and courting "investments", the US lays down the laws...
DeleteIs any of the money confiscated ever coming back to mexico? Nooo, not even to the mexican government, unless they want to buy some weapons...on credit, easy payments...
@6:37 "Is any of the money confiscated ever coming back to mexico(sic)?"
DeleteIt was made outside of Mexico and smuggled into Mexico and spent. What did the Gov't of Mexico do with all that cash from the precursor house (near DF)?
1:15 I don't know, but genaro garcia luna, Carlos slim helu's partner brought his part of zhenli ye gone's money to the US where he is a protected new millionaire with sovereign impunity...
Delete--Also the people of guauhuila would like some money back to help pay their debt that bertie boy left them as a parting gift...
Now he can shop in prison.
ReplyDeletenot long enough
ReplyDeleteThis guy is only 23 and head of the gulf cartel ?
ReplyDeleteI was also surprised by his age 23. Panochitas has always been involved in the drug business thanks to his mom Nidia Tamez. Panochitas became really powerful because his mom Nidia was the girlfriend of Mellado. Mellado was the plaza boss of Miguel Aleman and the whole Ribereña. Plus Mellado also controlled a couple of sectors in Reynosa. Nidia was very involved in the drug business plus a lot crimes like stolen ranches, ect. Both Mellado and Panochas committed crimes to satisfy Nidia. Nidia obviously is dead and was killed by TORO the current boss of CDG METROS of Reynosa.
DeletePanochas was sentenced to 30years but let's say good conduct and cooperation will he serve 30???
The Feds give you 3 months for good behavior, every 2 years. That means 45 months= 3 years 9 months. He will be eating prison food for (not for human consumption), for 26 years and 3 months. That is a long time, and it ain't no easy time.
Deletenaaaaa more like 20 to 15 years......
DeleteIf it's a federal sentence good conduct won't help him reduce his time.
DeleteThe U.S just wants money, finned $100 mil. Vicentillo got finned 1 billion dollars and so on....They all gotta pay uncle sam
ReplyDeletethis is the only form the government can tax on illegal drugs, by taking down the cartel leaders. The government could care less if we have a drug epidemic, it's all about the money. Who has it?, who wants it? and where can we get it?
Deletenobody pays those amounts...i bet panochitas doesn't have a million in liquid assets....and no more panochitas for him, just culitos
DeleteThe fine appears to be equal to the amount he was accused of laundering. @1:11PM - It's highly unlikely that these huge fines are ever paid, but perhaps they provide legal leverage at a later date to seize any assets if found, or give the right to toss him back in jail for unpaid fines after serving his term. 30 years to a 23 yr old is a short wait if he knows he has a nice fortune hidden away somewhere. The US justice system isn't looking for payola.
DeleteThe only way the government knows how to tax on illegals drugs, by taking down big timers. They let them work for a while and let them accumulate wealth, then they go after them. Fine them and collect, forfeit money, properties and vehicles just like the tax evaders. Government don't care about the drug problem, all they look for is the suppliers...imo
DeleteThe US lets them all work because of all that money they make off them?
DeleteThe US isn't gettin shit off them you followers.Pussy just told them where he stashed 100 million in cash and assets.
He couldn't even stop his momma gettin murdered in jug you idiots..
they won't pay 2% of that if they pay anything
Deletethey have to pay up because its part of their release conditions if they want to be out of prison
DeleteThe los zetas only got gotten for their ranch and horses, about 60 million dollars and 20 years in prison, for the big ones, el Panocho Colorado only got like one year for drug trafficking, money laundering, attempted bribing of a federal judge, etc etc etc, the los zetas must be still real tight with somebody big in the US government...
Delete--the unforgiving US government and texas are sticking it to el panochitas just because he is still mas chiquito, for show and tell...
Baby at least the US locked his fat out of shape arse up,,kno what I mean?
DeleteCan you get on that?Nahh

Delete'ccording to Doug Sahm and Freddie Fender, Willie Nelson, and all those country pumpkins of Tejano music, texas has always been full of shit, the good green one, and even heroin and coke and whatever you needed from that Fred Carrasco, on a recent report on BB...
Delete--Even tin-tan went to cuba to dance in movies with the cuban girlfriend of Santito trafficante, and sinaloa se pedro infante became a huasteco, from veracruz, San Luis and hidalgo, all zeta states now.
--Texas has always been there, in texas, deep in all kinds of shit...
Alert!! Every city has bad areas. Come down to Orlando m'r fk's and ill show u areas where cockroaches are scared to roam. Ill raid their butts so fast theyll beg for death.
DeleteThere we go! Finally news of a narco getting CONVICTED. Now we just need updates on whether they actually send Z40 to trial.
ReplyDeleteThats only here in the states, not one from chapo n friends has gotten CONVICTED...La Barbie, Z40 n bro, Hector Beltran Leyva, Vicente Carillo n Nephew, etc....
DeleteI wonder if the U.S actually recover any money per fines?
ReplyDeleteThat was an expensive shopping spree...at 23 yrs old he didn't know how to keep his mouth shut about the amount of drugs he trafficked. He pretty much snitch on himself.smh
ReplyDeleteHe got off easy compared to his mother.
ReplyDeleteAs in, get me off the streets for 30 years to keep my head attached to my body.
DeleteHis mother paid the price of the CDG infighting, she thought she could take what wasn't her's...
DeleteExactly 4:40pm. Now he can wake up everyday for the next 30 years in his cell knowing his dear ol' mother is no longer alive. He can dwell on how he wasn't there to protect her from his enemies. Maybe he can use those 3 decades to reflect on his sins and the pain he inflicted on his people.
DeleteShe lived it up while she could obviously but with that said as a son I couldn't live with myself knowing I couldn't protect my mom.
DeleteOsiel cardenas guillen snitch on his own son and he also snitch on panochitas cause every 1 in tamauculoslipas knew they had contact whit osiel cardenas
How is osiel going to snitch on his son, and for one fucking weapon and bullets...
DeleteThere are pendejos really, but thanks for the effort...
Hey BB put the article about the narcos tombstone
ReplyDeleteIs that old navy shirt ? 100 million i dont think so not this guy
ReplyDeleteSteve Jobs was worth a couple billion and he mostly wore black t-shirts that a guy making $30k a yr could afford.
DeleteNo idea how much this trafficker made but remember not everyone is materialistic no matter how much money they make...
I know a more than a few millionaires that drive bs cars and trucks with dress like regular folk no gucci no Versace just regular cowboy ariat square toe boots and a cinch shirt every blue moon that also wear old Navy and you would never know I think your old enough to know that old saying never judge a book by its cover that was a waste of this world's energy writing that ignorant comment you must be a trump for president supporter lol
DeleteIt's an XXXpress shirt
Delete@9:26 a million ain't what it used to be. I know a few and will probably be one myself, and none of the ones i know dress or even think they can afford Louis Vuitton. Most bring their own lunch to work instead of eating out. An engineer, or a nurse, or a half decent lawyer can all easily become millionaires if they don't spend their whole paycheck on being flashy. but even that is fun when your starting out in a professional career.
DeleteThere really are some nobheads on here?
DeleteObviously Steve Jobs had a minimalist look when dressing like i do but that doesnt mean he didnt have mansions, yaghts (sp?), and patek phillipes, rolex, etc... Point being, of course a 23 yr old rich kid will be materialistic, he just doesnt have any style.
Delete920 must wear old navy also
DeleteNo idea why this hasn't been posted. Found HUGE car bomb in Cd. Juarez yesterday. Big enough to destroy 2 city blocks.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.milenio.com/policia/Detienen-coche-bomba-Ciudad-Juarez-ministeriales-explosivo-evacuar-desactivarlo_0_546545378.html
big news in Mexico today, zetas and cdg make an alliance, they are allies.,,see news in Mexico.
ReplyDeleteThis is great news now they will become even stronger and knock cjnj out !!!
DeleteGreat news? Scum killing scum? Hasn't that been the case all along? How fast people forget the wrong doings of any of these criminal groups when a new one arise. Zetas are even worst when in the power. Why side with any of them? Why not wish them gone. I cannot understand the minds of some folks.
DeleteThere, a fool is born every minute, some just jump out of the closet lucky ano...
DeleteInnocent as a baby's ass...
--Maybe this time los parnas will not forget to pay their sicarios, at least for the maruchan, I know they do not even have money for steak for themselves, their caballos got taken by the US, so no horse's ass but their own...
Theres a hole lots of mis info on this guy i read that there was an indictment for him in cameron county for transporting marijuanna in 98 and 99 whit his mother and unkles he must have been like 7 or 8 when that happend
ReplyDeleteLo siento. No amparos no mordidas no regalos no burritos tamales ni tortillas. No cerveza no tequila ni pulque. Aprende a canta como canario. Treinte anos. Hijo. Adios el chingado.
ReplyDeleteWill get released in 12 for good behavior
ReplyDeletelol not in fed time. he must serve 85% of the sentence unless he snitches on others. and not like 12 years is a small sentence anyway. that's half of all the years he's been alive.
DeleteThe sooner he gets reborn as a born again christian, the sooner he gets released, so he can go back and work it with more discretion for somebody that know what to do with da' money, and knows how to launder it...
DeleteCall me immature, but I would not be able to call my boss by that nickname without giggling like a 13 y/o. Does anybody know how he got that nickname?
ReplyDelete23? Too young to be making wise Mayo-like calls.
ReplyDeleteAtte: La Sombra De La Mugrosa (Reynosa).
Just wondering why you only hear of any sentencing passed down when the trial is held in the US Mexico has yet to convict and sentence anyone they have caught. That is troubling and an indication that they probably have no plans to do so. Why is this the case? Can anyone provide any sentencing giving to any of the many capos caught in Mexico? How long does a captured capo await trial in Mexico?
ReplyDeleteWanted in America on a case that can bring a life sentence, and dumbtard decides to go shopping in America.
ReplyDeleteHilarious how low their IQs are.
He was in america because he was tired of fighting and hiding,... Hiding from the mexican feds, marines, army, navy,... From the enemies.... When the army engages a sicario it is because either they just happen to run into eachother by mistake or an halcon dropped the ball and did not give the heads up.... Unlike mogadishu they do not drive around showing their guns sticking out of the windows on a daily basis... They cat and mouse... All day every day.... If you go to mexico you can see for yourself .... There they go... Seconds later u turn... Now they are going the opposite direction.... Why.... They are evading curcumventing every and all patrol.... Not a life you grow to like you end up disliking every bit of that lifestyle.... So he jumps the river, without being caught... And goes shoping..... When i come back home from mexico the second that i cross the border, there is such a sensation of the gratest feeling that no one will hurt you,.. No gun battles,... No dead bodies dumped on your local seven eleven,.... The tranquility... And he needed that... So he goes shoping and gets busted.... And does thirty years ALIVE, Snitch on yourself because he had no place to run to, Thats why he crossed the river ran out of places to hide and friends.... His moma then killed,.. The minute he gets caught he must of felt a whole bunch of weight off his shoulders and soul.... No more killing,.. Running,.. Hiding.. NO MAS...... 25 mas 30 = 55.... As long as his millions dont disappear or get stolen he will be fine..... Now he snitches on other cartel members and his sentence gets shorter.....
ReplyDeletenews is that el kelin is ruling the zetas and cdg cartel, now they are allies.
