An armed group composed of five people assaulted the bar "La Taberna" this Thursday in the early hours, located in the centre of Orizaba, Veracruz and killed an ex Televisa correspondent, and a Plaza boss of Los Zetas, and another four people, informed the Attorney General of the State.

In a communication released this morning, they detailed that the alleged narco trafficker Jose Marquez Balderas "El Chichi" and the reporter Juan Heriberto Santos Cabrera were found seated together at the time of the attack.

The official report also said that in "La Taberna" they found two more reporters from the Newspaper El Buen Tono who were under guard by personnel of the Attorney Generals Office. Unofficially he said that some journalists received light injuries.

Of the other four killed, already three have been identified: Sergio Felipe Mendoza Morgado, Alberto Rodriguez Romero and Jose Eduardo Castillo Romero.

Televisa Veracruz dismissed Santos Cabrera about two months ago, who until yesterday wrote on various news sites including Orizaba en Red.

Inside the bar, according to official information, Ministerial Police and Federal Forces found the guns of the dead people outside the bar in vehicles, those weapons being put at the disposition of the corresponding Authorities.

During the skirmish, two elements of the Fuerza Civil were wounded, one of the injured men reported as grave.

"At the moment of exiting the bar, the aggressors were intercepted by elements of the Fuerza Civil who confronted the criminals, but could not detain them. The Fuerza Civil reported that during this incident two of its officers were injured, one of who was in a grave condition.

The preliminary reports indicate that the commando of five hitmen, carried rifles and fired them directly at the men killed and injured.

The owner of the newspaper "El Buen Tono", Joseph Abella, former Pan candidate for Mayor of Cordoba, distanced himself from the links that groups of reporters could have with criminal organizations, assured the Attorney General of the State in a press release.

"These reporters, I don't believe they were talking about journalism, sat with the Chief of the Zees whom they also murdered, the two that were seated in El Buen Tono "must have been dismissed from the company", he intimated.

With the execution of Santos Cabrera, already there are 15 reporters killed during the administration of Javier Duarte de Ochoa.

In the Cordoba Orizaba Fontin de Las Flores Industrial corridor the operation " Veracruz Insurance" was launched two years ago.

In the November 2012 edition of Proceso, it was reported that the capture of three suspected members of Los Zetas allowed Federal Authorities to detect a network of complicity between Sicarios, drug transporters, Deputy of Justice, Judicial Police, businessmen and Politicians.

--The commander in chief of the forces of order in state of veracruz can not fix the murdering, it all is his doing, and the mexican commander in chief will not fix him, he has been bought with petrobonos and tortibnos...

  3. An ex Televisa reporter, don't matter if he was still active...be the same thing, and a narco boss hanging out together. ......now that is a picture that is not difficult at all to believe, remember it us the stablished media led by Televisa who are actively selling the story of the robbery multi-homicide Narvarte case.

  5. Wow easy there cowboy ....los zetas are not like when they started ,with the cdg....back then it was a professional team of killers. Ask the Sinaloa cartel in nuevo laredo, ask valentin elizalde....back when osiel was the boss , los Z was no joke. I think even the famous antrax had no chance against elite Z1 And company....I used to have a cousin in the mexican army he is death now , anyways the point is that best training and the best weapons and the most balls all in one was the Z back when oziel was boss..even beto quintanilla who only had corridos about real shit, no like the ones from sinaloa. "Beto Quintanilla - el cielo relampagueaba." on YouTube

    1. Beto Quintanilla was too much of a corridos composer for los seta, ugly voice and singing, everything was good from beto, I hope he was enterrado con su troca as he asked on his: "MI Ultimo Contrabando", dead, beto rules, setas alive are nothing...

    2. Los Setas never were anything other than former soldiers, with all the dumb ass stupidity of 'a soldier', that is why el barril de menudo con patas is still alive and the boss, z40, and he is in prison for being a chueco and a judas, z 40 went to prison after 6 pinchis meses as acting boss, jejejeee, it did not last for him...
--bottom line, lousy soldiers, lousy.gangbangers, lousy drug traffickers, lousy customers, and lousy leaders, that is los setas for you...

    3. Yeah your absolutely right , every narco out there is a loser and a low life....but I think training and equipment makes a huge difference among organized crime, there are levels to being a loser narco and there are levels of some sort to what professionals look like among criminals.....for instance back on the 1990s most of the sicarios aka hit man where low life gangsters or desperate drug addicts or random people trying to make a dollar...but what change the equation was the idea of a professional team of soldiers willing to kill or fight goverment forces for money aka mercenaries for hire in mexico ....for instance the sinaloa cartel had the intensity of the peasant culture of sinaloa aka buchones and plenty of under trained sicarios and the balls never the less to invade nuevo laredo but where never successful... when the cdg was at full steam under osiel cardenas it was the most advanced cartel....El chapo became a power house after the cdg started to disintegrate because of the lack leadership and logistics due to osiel being snitch on because he lacked the protection from the mexican political power In office , same reason why the sinaloa cartel was able to take over chihuahua , with the Amado Carrillo aka la linea or cartel de juarez..... the point is that history is very clear. Cdg was the creator of a monster, that eventually lost power due to lack of leadership.....anyways is just an opinion I could be wrong but I'm open minded to ideas and suggestions..

  11. I'm sure this wasn't a formal interview by the reporter. Afterall, he was seated next to a Zeta killer. Some plaza bosses are creating friendships with reporters in order to gain intel on rival groups.

  13. Lol my comments that never get posted... like I said this was doing of los antrax. Zambada is cleaning out what mugrozzzzozzz are left. And as stated before los mugrozzzzozzz where a elite team when osiel was in charge. All that is left is the bottom feeders claiming the name to intimidate when conducting criminal activity. And how about that 5.8 million dollar pot bust in central califas along with bho labs that belonged to CDS. CDS runs deep in the central valley of califas. Kern county, tulare county and fresno county.

it must be cjng in conjunction with CDS, probably gentes nuevas, not antrax. like always making alliances to fight the letra.
