    1. I am wondering the same thing about the funeral services late hour. Is this a thing done in TJ because of fear, custom, culture, poverty, special circumstances... or what?

Tijuano, if you read this post, could you give us your thoughts on my questions about possible motives that go beyond fivalries between bike gangs.

Anything you come up with will be much appreciated.

    2. In Mexico, it is not unusual to have the funeral in the home of the deceased. These people may have been receiving the body, and then having it delivered to the place where they were having the funeral. That's a possibility.

I do not know, but maybe you need to ask the politicians, get them in a corral with the municipal and state police commanders, then raffle their arses away, see who gets more votes to the firing squad, from the rank and file police officers and tijuaneses who have lost family and friends, give them lie detectors, acceeditation tests and trial by jury of the citizens, not of their peers...

  22. @Mexico-Watcher:

It is usual in Mexico to have the funeral take place until the early hours of the next day.

Regarding the incident, there have been 2 more victims, the woman and a 17 yo kid who was outside the funeral home died after battling for their lives. The 17 yo kid died after having his leg amputated. As far as is know, they were innocent people in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The current info, thou not official, is that they were attacked by the other gang as a vengeance for a lost shipment or some unpaid debts. As I was told, some of these bike clubs are involved in moving weight up north and selling stolen bikes here in TJ and down south. I´ve known of some who do it, but doubt all clubs are involved as some people in Tijuana believe.

If I get more info I´ll add it here.

    Saludos!
