On Friday 25th of September Larry Hernandez was detained at Ontario airport, the narco corrido singer was arrested under the charges of kidnapping and aggression, after a complaint in Newberry, South Carolina, by an individual whose name has not been revealed, who assured that on the morning of 16th of August this year, he was kidnapped by two people from the entourage of "El Ardido".

According to information from various media both national and international, the victim ( a businessman), had solicited the services of the singer who charges 30,000 dollars per appearance, could only pay the singer 14,000 as he had not sold all the tickets for the gig, and according to the businessman he was taken to the hotel where Larry was staying, and gagged and beat him. He managed to escape later from his captors, and went to the police to make a statement.

The criminal complaint was made in Newberry, South Carolina and even though the singer denied being involved in the events that happened when questioned. Today he is held in the USA justice system in custody at Rancho Cucamonga, California.

His last comment on social media on that Friday was him talking about his involvement in "Noches con Platanito, that will soon go on air.

    To the readers who wanted my op.

    I think the fool forgot what side of the border he was on. First of all, in cases of low ticket sales usually they can give the tickets remaining to a number of agencies to give away and it is a tax deduction. This fills the venue, and funds can recoup by selling food and drink, plus Hernandez could sell promotional stuff. Both sides were stupid.

    All that aside, Hernandez went all thug, which is reminiscent of O.J. ‘s Badassing Vegas adventure that landed him stuck in jail. what happened in Vegas, in this case, literally stayed in Vegas.

    It is hard to predict what will be the outcome of the Hernandez case without knowing the details, but if it is as presented, he will do some time, he will probably plea to get the big charge of kidnapping dropped-keep in mind even if he was not directly involved in the actual abduction, he would still be charged with kidnapping if he either authored the crime, or simply held the victim against his will.

      It's never too late 8:59 unless he gets convicted then maybe. Even after that he could still appeal the conviction. Right now it's just an allegation against him. There are plenty of cases where the victim recanted and refused to testify because there was a financial agreement reached. Kobe Bryant's rape case in Colorado several years ago for instance. Or the case of Greg Hardy of the Dallas Cowboys whose conviction was overturned and then retried. The victim failed to appear in court for the next trial and the case was dismissed. There was a settlement paid in that case also. Those are just two examples off the top of my head but there are plenty more examples. After all this is the US of A. Innocent until proven guilty at least in the majorly of cases.

    Not a bright person if he did indeed hold someone against their will, especially for $16,000. I'm sure they have his accounts frozen because of his "narco" roots. But kidnapping charges are very serious. I hope the promoter has his story right because this might back fire on him and he is going to be out of business. Also the story is that this promoter has not paid other individuals in the past. I guess Larry took this a little to far and is now paying for it.
