Mexico City: Body hanging from bridge with narco message

Lucio R. Borderland Beat also posted by TNL on forum, from Refoma

In an unprecedented event in Mexico City, early yesterday morning in the east part of the city, citizens  awoke to the body of a man hanging from the bridges of La Concordia, which mark the boundary of Iztapalapa with the State of Mexico.

At the bottom of a concrete structure of the bridge it was found a cartulina with a message to guards and prisoners Prison East.

Text read:

"This is going to happen to all those who are supporting Andueza Velázquez Ricardo' 'El Miraviones', including inmates, and guards in charge of the Prison.” (the massive Eastern Prison (Reclusorio Oriente) of Mexico City)

The body, dangling more than 25 meters high, was wrapped mummy style in bandages, his hands tied behind his back and was hanging from a rope tied to one of the bars of the retaining wall.

The man, about 25 years old, was tortured and executed with two shots to the head, which was covered by a black sweatshirt. About 04:00 hours, motorists reported to police from the scene Teotongo sector of the Ministry of Public Security. Until last night, the victim had not been identified, and initial tests indicate that he had been killed within a few hours of discovery.

On October 2, in the Colonia Lomas de la Palma, Delegación Gustavo A. Madero, a body of a male was discovered also with a narco message with threats to "El Miraviones".

Other killings related to this were in May at the same prison a ward guard was killed, he was assigned to the same annex of ward 7.

In June, a female guard was killed.  She was assigned to the prevention of drug entry at the prison, also contraband and weapons.

  5. As most of us BLB readers live time to time in the US and Mexico, it will be good to acknowledge information on Both sides of the border. There are overr 18k murders in Mexico every year and just a few days ago CNN acknowledged over 33k murders in the us by gunshot only (add other methods), frequent statistics on victims will also help to be informed.

    1. You have been debunked 6:36. There were 16,716 homicides in 2013 in the US. How in the hell did that number double in one year Einstein? Plus you are saying with guns alone 33k murders. If you are saying 33k people have been killed by guns in the US since that stat was implemented and not in one year I can believe that. I don't think you understood correctly what they were saying. 33k people in the US murdered with guns in one year I call bullshit.

    2. Those numbers don't say anything unless you consider per capita....how many murders per 100,000 people is the number you should consider when assessing the danger posed by living in any given country

30K killed by guns in the US is about right, has been for well over 10 years

  6. It bears keeping in mind that Mexico's population is 124 million people; US has 317 million people. Per capita ratio, in a single year, Mexico's is the higher murder rate when these 18,000 and 33,000 figures are applied.

  7. Que raro que hasta los chilangos anden imitando los carteles. Tanto que se creen mejor que los de rancho. Cuando en realidad la mayoría de los que andan involucrados con el cartel son puros de la ranchería. Pinches nacos creídos.

  8. Ha! What are you talking about? "18K murders in Mexico every year"? Are you fucking nuts? There are a lot more murders in Mexico than in the US. You don't see people hanging from bridges with bullshit signs made out of bed sheets. Those crazy gringos don't waste time making videos of cutting off heads like these coward cartels.

  9. Who cares about US murders on the US? BB is not even 100% about murders in mexico...
--public corruption, the causes of crime, the criminals, the anonymous government criminals is what we do...
--but about 85.83% is about cutting the cheese, enchiladas, pacifier give aways and romantic advice for when YOU go to prison which is about all the time sooner or later...}:●》

  10. A quick search indicates there were under 15,000 homicides in the US and 22,000 in Mexico for the same year.

  11. sad truth death awaits us all . Here in USA we are brought up since a young age to focus on wealth and higher education . to have a good credit score and dont drink and drive . But never have i heard anybody talk about survival as a kid . that is the solution to stop violence . teach everybody combat skills , weapons training , hand to hand combat - pretty much a soldier . people with this paramilitary training will survive . what happens when we here a gunshot ? we duck , scream , run , have an anxiety attack? the world is fucked up admit it everybody. The bad dudes commit this crap because the majority of us are not prepared to handle these situations . we lost our fight or flight instinct . we are taught to respect peace and love but the reality is Humans Kill Humans point

    1. 7:37 That is why defense se forces are trained and paid and constituted into armies, except too often they are made into pendejos by other greedy but incompetent political leaders who would not fight their own wars of conquest for profit...
Too often those defenses betray the trust of the people and chose to serve other master...
