A narco-corrido and a YouTube profile called "Sinaloa is already in Colima" announces the presence of the Sinaloa Cartel who arrived in the State to put in a cleaning operation.
According to the said profile, the cartel that is headed by Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman is extending his presence and power in Colima.
Local media have reported since the start of September, that the page "Sinaloa is already in Colima", has given updates on murders and executions and also published a video on YouTube announcing the arrival of the Cartel in the State.
Also they have published a narco-corrido "El R-18" that describes how the Sinaloa Cartel has the power in the State of Colima.
It appears that "El R-18" is who heads the Cartel in the State, and according to a public message today in a face book profile, has been reunited with Gerardo Mendoza, identified as the intellectual author of the murder of ex governor Silverio Cavazos.( Otis: see link to Chivis article on Gerardo Mendoza and the murder of Silverio Cavazos).
"In the early hours of today Friday in an exclusive hotel in the port of Manzanillo, Colima, was a reunion between Senor R-18 and Gerardo Mendoza ( Otis: leader of the Colima Cartel), in which they reinforced alliances and arrived at an agreement to secure the cities and the citizens. No extortion will be permitted to businessman, we will exterminate the extortioners, rapists, kidnappers, robbers of the homeless and members of the CJNG. Sinaloa is already in Colima. The sweeper "La Barredora" has arrived", said the message.

Like I said before, El chapo will have control of all plazas by early 2016. With alot of help from mr. Zambada. Things might get ugly for a while. But once he has control of all plazas mexico WILL become a better place. I'm actually thinking of moving there and starting my family out there when it happens. It will actually be that safe. ReplyDeleteGerardo mendoza was with milenio. After el Lobo got arrested Eric wanted to put Mencho at the head. The Gerardo Mendoza faction opposed it so Mencho after becoming CJNG started killing and kidnapping people associated with them. Gerardo finaly gave in and joined them after los caballeros started making incursions to Colima due to the Autodefensa presense in Michoacan. The cjng started fighting along side him due to the common enemy. Im guessing now he seems to feel strong enough to take on cjng with cds backing......cjng's powerbase is based on muscle. They force other groups to join them but dont offer the same incentives that generate loyalty like cds does (the chance to make alot more money) Like any good criminal organization finances is the glue that keeps theives loyal to eachother. My guess is Veracruz is next to fall out of cjng hands as they are ex-zetas. 40 and chapo are good friends now. (sux for the people that died in vain defending the plaza for these guys - but hey in the mafia everybody is expendable - life has no value)
