"As part of the strategy of the Government of the Republic to break the financial and operational structure of criminal gangs, groups of elite of the Federal Police and the Mexican Army, arrested in the city of Oaxaca to Juan Manuel Alvarez Inzunza, nicknamed 'El Rey Midas' ('King Midas), and identified as the main operator of money laundering criminal organizations led by Joaquin Guzman Loera and Ismael Zambada Garcia.
Coordination at the highest level of intelligence work and in the field, between the Federal Police and military elements, allowed them to locate this guy, who normally moved between the states of Sinaloa and Jalisco, but relaxed his circle of safety to vacation in the capital of Oaxaca state. The right moment to catch him was identified, and was carried out without the need for shots of firearms and without endangering other citizens.

The right moment to catch him was identified, and was carried out without the need for shots of firearms and without endangering other citizens.
Allegedly Juan Manuel Alvarez, 34 years old, placed proceeds from illegal activities such as drug trafficking and extortion through a scheme of companies, currency exchange centers and and strawmen established mainly in Sinaloa and Jalisco, in which he may have laundered an estimated 300 to 400 million dollars a year, ie more than four billion dollars in the last decade."
"El Rey Midas" was arrested under a provisional detention order issued at the request of the Federal District Court in Washington so that he could be extradited for money laundering. Alvarez Inzunza's alleged laundering operations extended across Mexico's border
into Colombia, Panama and the United States, authorities said. Research could also link him with an international money laundering network from cities like Tijuana, Culiacan and Guadalajara.
Alvarez was taken to Mexico City and turned over to the Attorney General's Office For Special Investigation of Organized Crime (SEIDO).

These jackasses wouldn't even know how to balance a checkbook or log on to the Internet. Illiterate scum bags.
ReplyDeleteYeah they just launder millons of dollars year across north and south america
Deleteas you read 7:26 they know and they are...sorry to burst your bubble jajaja..thanks bb for your contribution on posting whats going on...great job
Delete7:56 illiterate you, this rey is accused of laundering about 4 billion dollars in 10 years, I wonder how much money you make or have, for your petty jealousies
Delete--I don't have any money, but I am not at all jealous of these guys, and certainly, epn is biting the hand that fed him, because he will be protected by the most expensive private security services for the rest of his life.
according to this it's billions
DeleteShoot him in front of other inmates make an example of him then an only then will the mass murders stop.why can other countries stone you to death some hang you some cut your hand off we can at least start cutting a hand of each cartel member caught I doubt they'll go back to sicario with only one hand knowing if aprehended a second time he'll end up with no hands. Or knowing if caught they will be hung instead of a stay in jail for a couple years with their friends and crew right now members of cartels laugh at the Mexican laws they know they get very little time in jail and they know they can surrender and join their buddies in jail where they continue to murder other inmates.. Mexico laws are just old they need change now adjust the laws to fit the hell Mexico lives in. You don't need autodefensas what Mexico needs is new laws for cartels. IRIS should push the government to set new laws! Simple fix to Mexico's mass murders.

DeleteEste güey se comió la mitad de los centavos que le dieron pá "invertir".
DeleteVote for me 7:55, since Europe doesn't want to manufacture the ingredients needed for the death penalty I'll gladly outsource them into Mexico where private prisons will be constructed exclusively for these sicarios where there timeframe of existence once caught will usually be a month
DeleteI'm with 8:48
DeleteIt might be easier in Latina America too
Real smart guy . "Laundered" all this money . So even if we know about it its clean ?? Like the Zetas and horses ? "Laundered money" right.... Good name to . Some dumb ass from the sierra calls himself king midas trying to do a covert operation like "laundering money. If I had a fucker working for me laundering money and he went by the name King Midas ... Oh well its laughable like all these evil clowns . I bet the ones that pick aliases like
DeleteJosé Rodriquez get away with a lot more . I bet John Smith has gotten away with more crime than any of the Reys or Els .
Guzman or some of the other real big Capos might have been illiterate but they know that it takes a literate person to help run certain aspects of the drug business which is why a guy like this Midas was taken into the cartel. He is not the only literate person in the cartel I can asure everyone that. The name "King Midas" was also a nickname probably given to him not some name he took upon himself. Motherfuckers in posts like these think that just because the cartels are Mexican they are run by just a bunch of idiots but this only proves the lack of respect Americans have for Mexico and or its many features good or bad!
DeleteNo joke. This guy looks like a taquero more than anything else.

ReplyDelete8:53 mysteriously, all the criminals and all the narcos de dios know how much the "pobresitos" generales, gobernadores, polesias y presidente de la republica cuestan en mordidas...to the penny.

ReplyDeleteEl R1 was also caught he is a high ranking cds member
ReplyDeleteChapo and Cholo Ivan captured then La Patrona and now el R1 and this guy! All within a period of around six months or so. These people with so much experience in the businesses will not be easily replaced. Looks like Sinaloa finally fell out of favor with the Mexican government! Thats what they get though for getting too bold and threatening (unofficially), to start wars (chaos), with both Mexico and the U.S. if they where not allowed to transport drugs into the U.S. Fuckin idiots!
Delete10:41 Chapo is the one that the Flores twins recorded blowing up embassy with RPGs.
DeleteThe fact that Ismael was there makes him CO-conspirator .
Only El mochomo kkows who really snitched him out first.
who is el r1? did chapo or cholo sing?

Delete300 to 400 million a year for the past ten years. The truth is that he did not start laundering those amounts ten years ago, this is the amount that he eventually grew to have responsibility over. This story regardless of who reported it makes it sound that this guy was twenty four years old when he begun doing this and has always had access to that amount of money. The truth is that you have to gain trust first then grow along with the business. So more than likely he has been laundering those larger amounts of money for the past four maybe five years only if he's lucky. This also means that more people need to get caught in order to make a dent in this cartel.
ReplyDelete821 so true. Adding to that what a headache. I never even knew who Guzman was not even two years ago. Guzman certainly took the wrong way at the fork of the road or found out he was missing a screw when up against the rich and powerful-even if the rich and powerful drink whiskey and snort cocaine.
Delete8:21 And who would you like to see get cogido next?
Delete--epn seems to be getting mostly the richest capos, except for those PRIISTAS OR PANISTA with looong careers pigging out at the public trough, and dealing with narcos on their free time...
--name your favorite candidates, please...
2:19 butt hurt cuz the government is taking down your idol and cartel of chice first are we? As long as people can't prove and just talk about all the thievery that goes on with politicians their is really no person to that should be targeted first within the Mexican government! Just play it by ear bro.
DeleteThe government leaves more proof of their crimes than the narcos, as a matter fo fact they are trying to impose their Ley Mordaza to make it impossible to communicate shit about them without your falling into criminality...
Delete--I don't have favorite cartel, my favorite criminals are all government, and their apologizers, narcos are like, muuuy chiquitos for me, then some also running commenters...
--You know, we do not have narcos "elected" to high office (or stealing it) to come explain to us where the buck stops...
I'm assuming this is the guy from the corrido Rey Midas. That has alot of pull with the Michoacanos?
ReplyDeletein a song for el Gross from ctng a 'rey midas' is mentioned, could it be a coincidence? i know theres always those common nicknames like "negro' or 'guero' but i doubt theres alot of 'rey midas' running around jaja
ReplyDeleteAll that money 34 years old and prob going to get either Sodomized or stabbed in prison
DeleteNot worth it
He should have made way less and ran a small bank
And lived to enjoy and tell about
2:52, while that sounds good he probably didn't have the opportunity to run a small bank. For a lot of these guys its narcotics or poverty.
DeleteThere were $billions made with investments but one who launders money never ever keeps much in one's back yard or homeland, as its scattered about the world using experts and the guy above is a joker - si!
ReplyDeleteBy now, este pinchi cacheton like el chapo guzman, is not needed that much, shit keeps rolling like no pasa nada...
