"El Mexicano": Detain the leader of Las Maras in Spain

Lucio R. Borderland Beat  story translated by BB contributor "Benny Juarez"

Madrid, Spain - Madrid's National Police arrested a leader of a criminal gang nicknamed "El Mexicano" (The Mexican), who allegedly had instructions to establish this organization in Spain.

This individual had several pending cases with the police and at the moment of his capture carried falsified documentation, the police informed. Later it was discovered that he had established his legal situation in the country with a fake identity.

"The arrest is fruit of acts that are developed systematically to avoid the establishment of this and other similar organizations in Spain" authorities indicated.

The subject, whose real identity or nationality was not revealed, will be under arrest until he can be expelled from the country.

The national police achieved the investigation in collaboration with police services from Honduras and El Salvador.

According to the authorities, currently The "Mara 18" does not have one sole leader controlling it, instead several leaders at an international level work in coordination to mark the directives that the organization needs to be guided by.

According to the investigation, "Mara 18" leaders had given instructions to their members in Spain to put in progress criminal activity of the group in this country.

The principal sources of financing for this organization are: Extortions, Specifically to businessmen, drug trafficking, express kidnappings, arms trafficking, the acquiring of real estate to later rent to other people, and other crimes.

The investigations into the activities of "El Mexicano" in Spain remain open

"Las Maras" which origin can be traced back to the 80's in the Unites States, is organized in a system of territory cells with groups of youngsters between 25 and 50 members, who  make crime their way of life.

The Maras arose in the United States as a consequence of conflicts generated by marginalization, family issues and common delinquency. Even though the first members of the Maras were natives of El Salvador, currently they have extended to countries like El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia.

    2. 8:13 if mexican politicians are there desperately trying to launder some money, preferably all of it and dealing drugs, chances are they need their favorite gangster sicarios to help conquer the Sprain and the Tortugal with some cultural exchange.

    1. Nah, times have changed. MS13 and 18th street had a deep rooted blood feud for decades but now some sets actually work together. There are sets who have joined forces hence the Mara 18 name. I think both sides saw how their feud was counterproductive to what they both wanted. Now I am not saying all sets get along and all Mexicans/El Salvadorans get along. I'm just saying the beef is not as intense as it use to be.

Officials arrested Luis Fernando Villalobos Graciano, also known as “El Güero Ruffles,” who is believed to be the chief of plaza in the south of La Paz and who was wanted for homicide. They also arrested a man called “El Dany,” who was wanted for drug trafficking. YAY!

  13. Los Maras are not affiliated with 18st. Los Maras are the Salvatruchas known as MS or Mara Salvatruchas or Mierda Secas. The 18 is the street gang known as 18st gang or Faketeen or Pussyochos. The Faketeen St gang goes way back and a lot of their members are Salvadorian. The younger Salvadorian migrating to Califas started MS in Califas instead of joining Faketeen St. They are rivals in the streets of L.A. 18st biggest rival is La Florencia Gang aka F13 which years back suffered a blow and had over 100 members locked up for targeting the mayates. The DA charged F13 gang members with hate crimes....

    1. Here we go with the Mayate shit again. Tisk Tisk Tisk. Total disrespect as usual. As I remember correctly they were targeting black folks who were minding their business and weren't even gang affiliated. A cowards way of doing business if you ask me. 100 down 100 more to go. That Califas race war shit is so 1990's. What is this "blood in and blood out"?

    2. Whats wrong with the mayate shit, somebody had to run them off to moval and palmdale they kept messing with the gente in the first place

But on the US it about blacks.

    5. First off there is no one on BB disrespecting Hispanics so why do it to blacks? For as long as I can remember "Mayate" was/is a racial slur. I have never heard the word being said in a loving manner. Secondly it was the Mexican Mafia who gave the orders to start targeting black civilians and gang members in the 1990's. I guess it was a case of penis envy or something in the CDC. Either way the Califas way is all ass backwards regardless. Defend it if you like but it would be nice if you fellows would get out of the 1960's and into the 21st century.

    6. 2:55 somebody told you wrong homie. La Eme advised all of the southern Cali Mexican based gangs to expel any black members they had in their ranks. If not they would face the consequences. 18th street was the last to do so because at first they didn't want to take orders from no one. They later changed their minds because of the possible retaliation in prison. La Eme sent out a green light on all black gangs and later all black civilians living in what they perceived as "their" neighborhood. Some Mexican gangs didn't want to target the black gangs living in or near their neighborhood because they were cool with one another. At that time blacks only banged on blacks and Mexicans only banged on Mexicans. La Eme stopped all that and changed the game. Now mind you this all probably happened before you were born so you might not know this part of gang history. I was raised in the 70's so I know alittle bit more than you. If you need another lesson hit me up.

18 period ......hope this helps...by the way ...these 2 gangs are huge(18-MS) with lots of CLICKS ....so only if your in jail you can say your really calling shots but for your click only....

    1. Some deported MS-13 and 18 street members cliqued up In different Central American prisons making Mara 18. It's very well known in the law enforcement community especially down south. Both sides got smarter because they were being assassinated by the Guatamalan, El Salvadoran and Honduran governments. The governments didn't want the Amercian gang banging shit in their country because they were so brutal. When released from prison they try to stay low key and cover their tats.

  26. la diesisocho is a gang in california funded by the sinaloa cartel.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. @9:11

They are not funded by the Sinaloa cartel. The Sinaloa cartel pays taxes to these street gangs and then a portion of that gets kicked upstairs. If the cartels won't pay tax they will get robbed and beaten and maybe even killed. The Mexican cartels will not mess with the California street gangs because if one day they have a relative that lands in the CDC system, it's over.

      Delete
    2. I find that hard to believe that Sinaloa who is so much more powerful than these local street gangs would pay a tax. It's more the other way around but I doubt it but I'm sure these street gangs have to deal with Sinaloa exclusively no matter the price of the others.Just ask the Flores twins from Chicago.

      Delete
    3. Sinaloa pays no tax, maybe give them a better price, that's works everywhere, if that doesn't work, then you are going to the gusanos, entiendes?

    5. @canadiana

Think about it Canadiana, these California street gangs live in United States. The cartels and their families live in Mexico, but if caught they will probably get extradited to the US. They will seek protection of some sort for their family members. Example: John Gotti head of the very powerful Gambino crime family, when he was serving his time, he paid the AB for protection from the blacks. Nobody messed with Gotti, he felt untouchable and thought he didn't need the protection anymore so he refuse to pay the AB for any more services. The AB told the blacks that they he was fair game and they didn't have his back. Couple days after some blacks assaulted Gotti, he went back to paying again. Does it make sense now?

  28. for all those confused by them using the name "mara" in el salvador and other parts around there that's like there word for gang so mara 18 and marasalvatrucha are two different things mara 18 is 18th street, 18st was a mexican clique from clanton 14th but they wanted other hispanics to be able to join so they seperated from clanton formed there own clique and accepted anyone then all those who joined got deported and started there sets in el slavador and everywhere else

    1. 2:51-That's what I have read also.It all started with the CIA flooding the streets of LA with crack to fund the wars in Central America and these illegals went to 'work'.

      Delete
    2. "These illegals"?
and you are some type of administrator?
      CIA flooding LA with crack?

Nathan Jones school of drugwar? Breitbart maybe? where bigots go to embrace stupidity and prejudice?

Maybe if you had said "illegals" you get a pass, but "these illegals" say it all. and secondly maras began when they grouped together after being shunned by the Mexican American population.

2:51 is right,18 18 (calle 18) created multinational groups and MS13 was created strictly by and for Central Americans first generation U.S. who were not accepted in L.A.

    3. there was weird shit that use to happen back in those days there's a story that there was a train full of weapons that stopped working near all the poor neighborhoods that's where a lot of gangs ended up getting guns and stuff from, another thing 18th street is one of a few sureno cliques that doesn't use the 13 although they do have members in La Eme calling shots from inside prison but thats in cali anywhere else like mexico and salavador they separate themselves from surenos

  30. It is a fact that starting in the 50's, the U.S. sent forces to train anti communist forces in central and south america. The govt's of these countries were weak and after the US puppet leaders took over many lives were lost and villages destroyed. By the time of Vietnam, special forces were up and down central america. Almost nothing was ever said in the US media, but does that mean it didn't happen? Iran contra was when the american public finally found out but the damage was done! J.A.G.
