Boxer Alejandro González junior and two others murdered

Guest Reporter Javier for Borderland Beat

One of the three bodies found early on Friday in the Colonia San Carlos, Guadalajara is Alejandro González junior, a super bantamweight Jalisco boxer 23 years old and son of boxer Alejandro "Cobrita" González.  Alejandro Sr, was the WBC featherweight champion of the world.

In his professional career, Alejandro Jr. had more than 2 dozen wins with the majority winning by knockout.

One of the other victims also seems to be the son of a criminal nicknamed "El Musico”", reported  a source.

At 03:45 am a vehicle was found at the intersection of the streets of Francisco Silva Romero and González Gallo, in the cream colored Nissan X Trail, were three bodies, two clothed only in underwear, and the third without clothing.  All three were bound hand and foot  with the bodies revealing traces of torture.  There was a threatening message from a criminal group not identified by authorities, nor were the contents of the cartulina.

However,  information collected by authorities, point to the trio being  murdered in Tlaquepaque and later the truck was moed to Guadalajara, where it was abandoned. A line of research  points to a person nicknamed “El Cholo", belonging to CJNG Cartel Jalisco New Generation) that operates and controls Jalisco.  Apparently one or more of the dead belonged to a oppositional criminal group that was not named.

The three deceased had blows to various parts of the body and wires around their necks, indicating the method of the murders.

  5. Note to youth. Stick to boxing. No hanging out with losers or wannabe thugs. Rivals will not select. Its easier to eliminate all. Don't get caught up with scum.

  6. Why would a boxer want to hang around cartel members. Alejandro should have received better advise from the people close to him, But since he wants to be cartel he got what he deserves

    1. Your a pos for saying that,
first off you dont know the circumstances why this happened, in mexico you can get killed for mistaken identity or even if the friend was involved in the drug buisness doesnt mean people close to him are bad people and deserve to be killed

This. Nothing in this article points to the young boxer 'wanting to be in the cartel'. All that is mentioned is that one of the other victims was the son of a criminal nicknamed "El Musico". Even then, we don't know how close Alejandro and the son of this criminal actually were, if at all.
To say he deserved this is just arrogant.
