A joint operation with Police and Military captured Omar M.. "El Duende", alleged leader of a cell of the criminal group known as Los Viagras.
The Secretary of Public Security (SSP) informed that around 3pm Thursday, elements of the Michoacán Police and Sedena carried out a reconnaissance of the Vista Hermosa Colonia, located at the exit of the Acahuato community, and while travelling along Calle 20th of November came across a white Honda with two persons on board.
When the vehicles occupants noticed the presence of the military and police they fled the vehicle and escaped, but almost immediately were captured.
According to authorities, the van that men were travelling in had only one licence plate which did not correspond to the characteristics of the vehicle, and also had a changed chassis number.
Intelligence sources signalled that "El Duende", 25 years of age worked under the orders of the Sierra Santana brothers,, known as Los Viagra, who allegedly instructed them to carry out reconnaissance duties (Halcones) in order to advise them of the presence of operations in the zone.
The criminal group headed by Omar M in known in the structure of Los Viagras as "Duendes Cell", and has its base in this locality.
Omar and his accomplice, Raul V, 18 years of age, were put at the disposition of competent authorities.
Also put at their disposition were 5 packets of marijuana and 12 of crystal meth that were found in their clothes, as well as the vehicle in which they were travelling. Juan Bernado Corona Martinez, of the SSP, assured that in coordination with the three levels of Government, that these forces will work in a permanent manner in order to finish off the remnants of the criminal organization and guarantee the peace and order for Michoacanos.

ReplyDelete@1:24 You are correct. A 25 year old in any narco group is still a nobody just barely managing a group of maybe 5 to 7 friends of his if that. As far as age is concerned a 30 year old narco who has been in the game for at least ten years is just moving up the ranks and becomes just a bit harder to replace. Following along a 40 year old narco who has been in the game at least 20 years now has the required experience and trust to truly let him have some power. This means he can have his own drugs and access to his own hitmen. Much older than this and been in the game since at least age 20 and you have the most knowledgeable of all narcos and work in sub divided groups within the cartels. Of course this just applies to drug movers not neccesarily hitmen for all narcos are not hitmen some are the brains of the organizations to which they belong. Then of course there are few exceptions and top narcos kids do not follow this trend either. This is just an observation I, have noticed living next to cd Juarez Mexico and having been and observer (though not participant), in this drug game for at least the past 15 years or so.

Delete@6:01 you don't have to snoop around (or inhale shit), to know and observe stuff when you live this close to the border to know a thing or two about narcos my friend. A lot of shit you can read from local newspapers and TV news and form patterns yourself. Other observations you hear from people conversing who might really know someone involved in the drug game and also draw conclusions based on that. All this without any names mentioned and detective work involved. This is just the life along the Mexican border for some of us that travel between U.S. and Mexican cities. There are thousands of us that do this every week if not everyday.

DeleteI agree with you 100%. Why would you 'parade' them and cover their faces? Could it be because the censorship from the cartels? At one point the biggest censorship came from the government, but now it comes from the Cartels. They are so "sensitive", and I mean this with the most respect and truly apologize if I offend someone, it is not my intention.
