“Don’t Back Down, Give It Your Best”: Mireles Says In Regards To His Struggle for Freedom

Translated by Valor for Borderland Beat

Morelia, Michoacán – Dr. José Manuel Mireles Valverde, who was the spokesman for the nonactive Autodefensa Council of Michoacán and the leader of the autodefensas in Tepalcatepec, sent out an audio that was shared by his family in which he states: “Don’t back down, give it your best,” this, in regards to their struggle for Mireles to be liberated.

The material lasts for 1:29 seconds, in it, you can hear Mireles say verbatim:

“I am José Manuel Mireles Valverde, from the CEFERESO of Tepic, Nayarit, reiterating my faith and my confidence to the team that is preparing for my release, the best way possible.”

“Mainly to the Citizens’ Movement, Dante Delgado, Manuel Antúnez, Daniel Moncada, and to my lawyer, Ignacio Mendoza Jiménez.  We know how difficult it is for them to help me get out of my situation and we know that they are really giving it their best.”

“Therefore, from this channel, I reiterate my gratitude and I invite everyone to give it their best, to not back down, I am holding up and I know that they are giving it their best, this is my greeting and a strong brotherly embrace to everyone.”

  1. You would think it's best to protest for his release in numbers. A political injustice with no merit other than opposing political elements.
Mexico needs him and many others for a better future.
Prayers for your well being and release.

    1. @3:40 I couldnt agree more but you gotta realize the mexican elite (which is corrupt to the core) has the backing of the US. Our gov would never want to see a regime change which does not walk in their leash. The WoD launched by Valderon is an excellent example.

    2. 10:55 the War on Drugs has murdered more innocent mexicans than mexican crooks, but government lambegüebos deny the self evident truth. Denial gets consequences, it allows for the impunity of the corrupt and their continued enterprise.
Ultimately nobody here has any proof of any military corruption, only the dead keep piling up because somehow it makes somebody billions and billions of dollars.
It happened when the Spanish tried to parade aztec emleror Moctezuma II (Xocoyotzin) to parade him before his people to placate their mighty furies, because somebody spred lies about the poor conquistadors, that is the only reason Dr Mireles is still alive and has not been murdered by epn yet, but never say never.

    3. 12:54 See BB moderators and people of this world. I am not the only one who understands what exactly is happening not just in Mexico but in all of Latin America and possible the world except for those nations that somehow manically dominated the rest. A few others know and understand what is going on because they can think critically and aren't just brain dead sheep. I will applaud the Mexican army when they stop pointing their guns at the people and decide to point them at the true criminals. When they decide to once and for all free Mexico than they will be applauded until then they are just the Corrupt Mexican goverments puppet sicarios. Before Drug Trafficking in Mexico became a thing guess how tohe crooks would gain wealth they would lend people money than hide and take their lands. Who would be complicit in those crimes well who do you think? Mexico has never been free two revolutions later and nothing has changed.

    1. I truly hope that is the case.
Despite the ignorant behavior of some of these individuals where lack of respect towards good citizens are vivid. Hopefully some human compassion is exemplified on his behalf.

    2. Pretty sure most of them aren't bothered by Mireles. Especially in Nayarit, place is owned by BLs and Zetas, who hate CT. It's also important to note Mireles wasn't against narcos in general, just CT.

    3. Local kidnappings, murders, extortions, government corruption, and dirty politicians, were Dr Mireles targets, not exactly the narcos, but that where the campaign went, ably directed by the CT rivals, former boss of el chango Mendez of the Familia Michoacana allies, also Miguel Angel Gallegos Godoy, El Traficante Mas Poderoso de Tierra Caliente, Untouchable.

    3. 7:53 looks like Dr Mireles was used, but you can't deny that when the shit hit the fan, Dr Mireles was demonized, accused of having some mental illness "because of his accident, and he ended in prison too, for his attitude", 500 of his followers AD are in prisons in other states too, far away from their homes, and not one of them has been showing "their pretty
faces" anywhere, an accusation alos leveled vs Mireles, who also was "trying to take over the whole LatinAmerican continent" according to corrupt criminal alfredo castillo.

    4. 7:53 Look up Jose Luis Lara on facebook he tells you exactly what happened and how just go down his page and read his comments and posts that is if you know Spanish. He even write a book selling on Amazon for $25 he was actually there when shtf and fought those battles. They were all used by Miguel Angel Gallegos Goodoy El Migueladas and his group and of course the goverment. Remember when La Tuta blamed all the extortions on El Chayo it turns out he was the main one pushing for extortions. One of his daughters was extorting people after he got put in prison until she either got killed or placed in prison. El Chayo might have played a part in the extortions but I don't know. Tuta set up El Chango Mendez and El Chayo in the end with the help of the previous mentioned individual and his group.

    5. @2:55 I did just what you asked us to do in your last post about this. There are 3 people on FB by that name and out of curiosity I went way down the page of all 3. I found nothing where Jose Luis Lara "explained exactly" what happened in Michoan and the self defense groups or about Dr Mireles being in the drug business with Chayo or Gallegos Goodoy. You don't really explain what role Jose Luis allegedly had but if he did say something relevant that I missed Why would you believe what a cartel guy said on FB? I wasted a good bit of time chasing that rabbit you threw out there.

    6. Dr. Mireles wasn't in the drug game he found something he could gain from and decided to join it. Mireles had some pacts with Gallegos and the rest of them. If you cant find that individual than look up his book. Here is the link I hope they post it I'm in no way affiliated with the Author. https://www.amazon.com/Un-Cartel-Autodefensas-Cronicas-Insurgente/dp/1544174462/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1493363284&sr=8-3-fkmr0&keywords=Commando+Insurgente

José Luis Lara (Comando Insurgente Anarkista that is the name of the Facebook page and it has a picture of Arnold Hinojosa(Can't remember if that is his name) one of the Autodefensa commandantes that was killed by the H3 CJNG Ex templario Aliance or maybe the government. Jose Luis Lara fought the battles to free the towns from the Templarios grip and I'm pretty sure he wasn't a narco the reason he fought was because they killed a family member or members. In the end Mexico's problem is its corrupt and oppressive government filled with thief's and people looking to take advantage of the rest to get ahead. The Cartel Problem can be fixed easily legalize the Drugs and let them flow where ever they need to but before that is done Mexico needs to get rid of its corrupt government and return the Constitution back to how Cardenas left it.

    7. Like the colombian AutoDefensas, the michoacan Aad were used expertl to get the ct, ok, and Dr Mireles was chosen to lead because of honorability, not the first time wrong people use righteous men fot their dirty purposes, th ct were extorting el migueladas, and got tired of it.
Otto line is Dr Mireles is in prison a political prisoner, a use he refused to bend over for epn and his corrupt puppet castillos de kagada and his cuban santera sexo-therapista

  15. Citizens’ Movement is a new political party in Mexico called Movimiento Cuidadano (MC). It's headed by a former PRI guy, Dante Delgado. He's questionable, but the local Deputy Daniel Moncada, who's headed the Michaocán party the last four years, has done good work in the state. At the meeting naming the new state head for the party, Delgado announced the creation of a fund to help pay for the release of the AD's still waiting to get out for lack of funds.

    1. MC has a problem, it is an extremely competent extreme right party of rhe rich, businessmen and industrialists that expect the Governments of Mexico to do as told, by them,
"because they are the ones that pay the taxes".

      Delete
    2. @ 3:12 a.m. I'm afraid you don't know what you're talking about. MC can in no way be considered "extreme right." On the political sliding scale, it falls left of center. You might be confusing it with PAN, a center-right party.

Mexico, in fact, doesn't have an "extreme right party." It'd be an interesting discussion to ask why that is...

    3. @8:46 so true, even with for all the good intentions they start out with. Worst ever murderous "leader" of a country was Mao, he killed 78 million of his own people. Lefties kill people to save "the people," it's a Satanic equation.

Mexico has been corrupted for generations since i was just a boy i remember my friend's father running for President of the town not the country in Mexico its called el presidente del pueblo anyhow my uncle lost to a much younger opponent who most old folks disliked for growing peyote and marijuana at that time but he would hold huge parties with free drinks food conjuntos playing guapangos an corridos but since way back then the government has taken criminals as leaders..i dont think change is near its probably as faraway now as when the drug on war started its just my opinion...
