Subject Matter: Damaso Lopez Serrano, El Mini Lic, Sinaloa Cartel

The detention of Damaso Lopez Nunez, El Licenciado, could generate a new interior dispute in the Sinaloa Cartel, according to Federal Functionaries, that other groups, among them those headed by he sons of Joaquin El Chapo Guzman, will be seeking control of the territory of Damaso Lopez Serrano, El Mini Lic.
Lopez Serrano has led criminal cells of Los Antrax and Los Montana, and has now been converted into one of the priority objectives of the Federal Government.
Without the support of his father, he could make a deal with Juan Jose Esparragoza Monzon, El Negro, son of capo Juan Jose Esparragoza Moreno, El Azul, who this past 16th of March escaped from the Aguaruto prison in Culiacan, Sinaloa.
That day Jesus Pena Gonzalez, El 20, chief of security for the leader of the Sinaloa Cartel, Ismael El Mayo Zambada, and one of the founders of Los Antrax also escaped.
Also escaped that day was Alfredo Limon Sanchez, El Limon, trusted operator of El Mayo, and Rafael Guadalupe Felix Nunez, El Changuito Antrax, financial operator and who allegedly has assumed leadership of the group Los Antrax.
Mini Lic is one of the few criminals of the country that has a lot of corridos dedicated to him. As a result of those writers being close to him in the underworld.
The first is the one dedicated by his friend Gerardo Ortiz, El Viejon, called "Damaso", in whose video you can appreciate the extravagant and luxurious lifestyle typical of the sons of capos, surrounded by women, sports cars, money, weapons and even lions.
Gerardo Ortiz was arrested months ago in Jalisco for apologizing for a crime in a video, where the protagonist kills a woman and puts her in a municipal patrol car in Zapopan.
Another song that has been done for Mini Lic is "Empujando la linea" from the Sinoloense Regulo Caro, nephew of capo Rafael Caro Quintero, in whose video he paints a picture of a powerful narco junior, surrounded by hardcore gunmen, enjoying the nightlife, wasting millions earned as a trafficker and warning his rivals that he brings more fire than the devil.
In both videos, he describes the admiration of his father El Licenciado and his godfather El Chapo.
On November 23rd, 2012, a grand jury of a district court of the Eastern district of Virginia formally charged El Licenciado accusing him of conspiring to distribute cocaine and money laundering, which gave him profits of more than 280 million dollars.
The indictment is 11-CR-00558, which documents the criminal career of Damaso Lopez Nunez, since he helped El Chapo Guzman escape from the Federal Prison of Puente Grande.
