A shootout near the Mexican beach resort of Los Cabos early on Monday, May 1 between suspected gang members and navy forces has left eight dead, including one soldier.
The incident took place before dawn on the outskirts of San Jose del Cabo, about 20 miles (30 km) northeast of the area's main tourist hub of Cabo San Lucas. Security forces later recovered unspecified drugs, vehicles, communications equipment, military-issued weapons and uniforms, the navy said in a statement.
The Western State of Baja California Sur, popular with international tourists and ex-pats, has seen growing gangland violence over the last several months.
The Secretary of the Marines reports that its personnel on a patrol were attacked with gunfire by suspected members of organized crime. It was also reported that they were in the area, the Colonia of Villas de Cortez, after an anonymous tip was received
from someone in the neighborhood who saw an unusual amount of persons coming to and from a house. They were planning to search the house but were instead met by gunfire.
The confrontation lasted nearly 40 minutes, with neighbors hiding on the floors of their homes and at least one witness also reported hearing a grenade.
The dead have yet to be identified but the Secretary of the Mexican Marines-Navy
stated that they are committed to the maintenance of public security and protection of the well being of Mexican families and civilian society at large.
The Marines returned gunfire, resulting in the death of seven of the delinquents, five
men and two women, and one Marine was wounded but died in hospital.
Mencho is continuing to eliminate chapos people

Delete"The Secretary of the Marines reports that its personnel on a patrol were attacked with gunfire by suspected members of organized crime." Anyone buy this? I would think criminals like to lay low. Does not make sense that they would attack a heavily armed military convoy.
ReplyDeleteIf it was a diversionary ambush, then it happens. Those who died are merely cannon fodder for the main objective.
DeleteThe marines were going to search the house... The narcos had to fire on them, either that or be arrested for all the shit found in there
Delete4:04. Many times for to distract las Marinas from where Marinas are going
DeleteWith Mayo as the main capo now, even Mencho is going to get in line and follow the CDS orders. Everyone is going to be under the cds bannner, with the exception of golfos and zetas.
ReplyDeletethats some good fanfiction bruh.
Delete7:08 he would like that but I believe it will always be someone from Sinaloa that ultimately runs CDS. History shows to be true
DeleteMayos about to get in line with Mencho if he hasn't already. CDS is not what it used to be kid
DeleteM Since 1950s the only big names to have any stamina have been from Sinaloa. From Pedro Avilés, Rafael Caro Quintero, Neto Fonseca Carrillo, Miguel Caro Quintero, Amado Carrillo Fuentes, Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo, AFO, El Azul, Mayo and the 100s of others from Sinaloa with decades of staying power I haven't menched ( ;
DeleteSolo Sinaloenses - no es posible la Menchichita guey
Mencho is tweaked out like Damaso...Mayo will never align with him. Don't get high off your own supply. The real Capos sell drugs, they don't do them. That's why Mayo is so much smarter. Even Chapo told Sean Penn, he hadn't done drugs or drank in over 20yrs. Tweakers make bad business.
Delete1:36 with whos backing? Golfos and zetas are hunting menso and cjng too. They got in over their heads when they went into baja
DeleteWouldn't it be much more profitable for everyone to abide to a truce and boundaries.
ReplyDeleteFighting till death has become a costly burden for all sides. Common sense suggests that. Before government intervention successfully implements legislating policies favoring the legalization of some narcotics. Marijuana for starters. We all know it's a failed drug war.
Despite the fact that drugs are a menacing epidemic in our societies. It's never going to end consumption by millions of users.
Truce already and let the Mexican communities enjoy life without fear .
There was a gunfight in madera chihuhua the same day. It was the army vs narcos. 7 hitman died. Tamaulipas also had a gunfight. Atrmed forces killed 2

ReplyDeleteTheirs an update of that gun battle in puebla. It was 10 total killed. 4 soldiers and 6 bandits. 13 in custody
DeleteGreat work from every stage including from top to bottom good job on the Marines fighting back and good job on the civilian reporting the unusual amount of people next time these marines need better equipment no losses need to be made.
ReplyDelete"and good job on the civilian reporting"
DeleteThats where it starts brother,by people taking an interest if they see heavily armed dudes runnin around, fuck kind of shit is that?Crews in trucks runnin round looking for shit to kick off,and civilians trying to go about their life, cant have it.
