After the announcement that the armed forces were taking control of public security in La Paz and Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, true carnage has been unleashed in the streets.

In the last hours human remains of a person have been found scattered in four points of the capital, as well as four executed, two of them former municipal police.

On Friday, October 27, three executions took place. One in the Aguajitos neighborhood, another at kilometer 7.5 of the Cabo San Lucas - San José del Cabo highway, and the last one in El Zacatal. The last of which was identified as an officer of the Los Cabos Municipal Police recently dismissed for failing the control and trust exams.

Meanwhile, since that Friday night signs were placed denouncing military personnel who had arrested men who are now missing. The message was signed by relatives of the alleged victims.

At the same time, an arm was found in Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez and Veracruz streets, the reverse side on the highway to the Los Planes kilometer, while other human remains were thrown into El Zacatal de La Paz.

On Sunday morning, foul smells gave alert to another human limb in the Civilizadores neighborhood.

This Sunday morning [October 29], a narcomanta was found in the vicinity of the Jardines del Recuerdo cemetery. In the text presumed leaders of the plaza in the state are threatened.
Authorities have deployed operations in different parts of Los Cabos and La Paz, including helicopters maintaining constant coverage in

    1. 8:46 why have office?
These days when the governments sponsors and perpetrate crimes against journalists, truth seekers and muckrackers, why have offices? Just to make money?
Sell pumpkin seeds in the plaza for a living and report in secret, even Joseph Stalin did it, but he still got sent to Siberia a few times, "The Lion In Winter" escaped every time, even got his life turned into a romantic movie starring Omar Shariff, Doctor Zhivago and Julie Christie.

    3. Yaki, with all due respect, self preservation is job #1, the people doesn't need their voices murdered, it is bad enough that the mexican narco-government has spyware like Pegassus and Galileo and more hackers than russia to track its perceived enemies, they kill more reporter enemies in a week that the russians in the last ten years, even anonymous isn't safe. Take care, and thanks for the help.

  4. Between Las Cabos, Oaxaca, and Chihuahua the primary drug syndication in Mexico is doing all they can to spread the Mexican authorities thin. I suspect there are several loads either in route are already offloaded in the busy ports of Lazaro Cardenas or Manzanillo, or perhaps even the much smaller but very long controlled port of Mazatlan.

It will be interesting to see how much, if any is confiscated over the next month or so these loads are divided and sent in a multitude of directions.

    Good Day!

    1. You are correct as to fortunes to be made!

But abundance of money does not bring happiness nor tranquility. Fact is; The more we make ; The more we spend.
Lifestyles get complicated and images get blurred from what’s truly a necessity; To just unwanted attention.
That’s why I can appreciate those who are content with the simple things in life.
They are the true warriors of living.

  6. Tragic that a place as beautiful as Baja has turned out like this. All I can do on my side of the border is tell people not to buy illegal drugs. No excuse now with plenty of legal options. -paco
