"We are CJNG, we are here to stay'' says armed group.

Translated by El Profe for Borderland Beat from El Debate

A convoy of trucks with armed men drove around through the main streets of Loma Linda, Oaxaca, and left a message on a banner. "Let's go get the extortionists and kidnappers"

A video circulated on social networks of a convoy of vans with heavily armed men driving through the streets of the town of Loma Linda, Oaxaca (Photo: Twitter).

Oaxaca.- On social media networks, a video of a convoy of heavily armed men crossing the main streets of Loma Bonita is circulating. Through loudspeakers, they boast that they belong to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel and that they are there to stay.

In the images a long line of vans is observed cruising through the streets of the town; some witnesses said that there were seven vans and that they are heard with loudspeakers saying that the Jalisco New Generation Cartel had arrived.

Repeatedly, the voice of a man was heard during the drive saying, "We are from the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, bastards."

Finally, they left a banner in the surroundings area to emphasize that "they’re going for the extortionists and kidnappers", and that the town should not fear them because the cartel has nothing against them.

Sajid Quintero Navidad [El Cadete], cousin of the Mexican capo Rafael Caro Quintero, was arrested this month by US authorities at the San Ysidro international border crossing, the Southern District Attorney's Office reported [Friday, October 27].

The arrest is one of the largest arrests of a Mexican trafficker on US soil, according to prosecutors.

"With this action, one of the most important drug traffickers in Mexico will be brought to justice," said Alana Robinson, interim federal prosecutor for the Southern District of California.

In September of this year, a grand jury filed charges of conspiracy to import controlled substances and money laundering against Quintero Navidad and shortly after, on October 11, he was arrested when he tried to cross from Tijuana (Mexico) to San Diego ( California).

US authorities were looking for Quintero, alias "El Cadet”, 36, for his links with Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, one of the leaders of the Sinaloa cartel.

The arrest comes after an investigation by the Federal Drug Agency (DEA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), focused on "leaders, lieutenants, associates involved with money laundering" of the Rafael Caro Quintero criminal group and the Beltrán Leyva organization.

In 2014, Quintero Navidad was filed by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Treasury Department as a major trafficker who coordinated the transportation of tons of cocaine from South America to Mexico and then to the United States.

Sajid Quintero faces three criminal charges and, if found guilty, could face a minimum sentence of ten years for each of them.

His cousin Rafael Caro Quintero is wanted by the United States Government after being released from a Mexican prison, who are offering a million dollar reward to anyone who provides information about his whereabouts.

    1. 3:04; If I were a betting man, and a man who ran a business in the most strategic manner that I know how; I would bet that a competitor of CJNG is doing the sabor rattling in Oaxaca to attract authorities and attention to this state of little strategic value; comparatively speaking.
I would even venture to say that the men and women armed and hired to hang banners, drive CJNG vehicles, and murder a few people (likely innocents) even believe they are truly in working in the service of CJNG, but actually working to serve a different organization.

Requiring the Marinas, Army, AFI, etc to mobilize to Oaxaca would better increase the odds that large deliveries of contraband will have an even higher probability of safely going through the busy ports of Lazaro Cardenas, Manzanillo, Mazatlan; or whatever ports their valuable cargo is destined to arrive. Once safely offloaded highway a variety of routes to DF, Guadalajara are accessible and can more easily be driven by truck or flown by air to Mazatlan, Culiacan, Los Mochis, or other destination that someone is responsible to make deliveries to their wholesale customers along the Mexican border of Mexico, or to one of the many cities serving as distribution hubs in the US.

But I am not a betting man so take this hypothesis for what you will.

      Good Day!

CJNG are way out of line, crossing all the lines threatening and killing people from all walks of life. U.S. of A. will step in to stop CJNG with and for something to prove. U.S.A. covered themselves with the capture of Guzman, however they won't have to cover themselves when taking out CJNG.
    Nothing invested with CJNG

    1. Yeah, I think CJNG is the A.D.D cartel because they cant concentrate on one task before they start a new one. You can call them the tweeker cartel also. Not because they traffic alot of Meth, but since they tear shit apart and then never put it back together leaving moving aparts every where.

    6. 10:24 you say CJNG don't care about Veracruz but they have been fighting the Z for Veracruz a good 7 years. Obviously they were the Matazetas for onset years. I say the CJNG actions prove your statement to be false. 5:11 what good is a port if you have to fight your way in or out to get your product to it's destination? Seems to me just having a port wouldn't be worth the effort but I guess narcos in Mexico aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. Especially since warring with each other constantly does absolutely nothing to increase profits or produce more product.

Why doesn't everyone just agree on a peace treaty and everyone gets a piece of the pie and not get greedy and act like gentlemen and do business as usual and not kill each other and stop messing with the people it's very easy to act tough with an AK.47 and fifty guys to back you up but once. you get extradited to the USA and in prison you are fresh meat so think with your head not with your balls idiots.

    1. There can never be peace . "were here to stay" or just until we get killed in a couple or the dea zeros in on us . There is a real war . The USA is fighting it coverly and the government of mexico is carrying out the battles . As whith any civil war "spys" have heavily infiltrated both sides . Especially the governments side . The cartel and corrupt government are the underdogs because the "moral Majority" of all nations are against them . It could be ended with a "scorched earth policy overnight . I think only a few in the drug business really understand this . The real problem is the hide among the innocent just like all cowardly terrorist .

    2. I wish that were the case friend.
Unfortunately, common sense and behavior states otherwise.
Fact is ; we will never stop the flow of narcotics.
However, one thing is attainable, peace and tranquility for all its citizens.

    3. 11:44 i have not seen american drug percursors being distributed anywhere in mexico, it is always the asian precursors for the mexican cartels, they also diversified a little into Krokodyl, a russian favourite. i'd bet the russians and the chinese have infiltrated the mexican crime scene and some of that is the reason la chapa is in prison along with mochomo, el benja and manuel noriega, they were doing their own thing, but the coon in the white mask is taking it all back

    4. A Peace Treaty would be seriously wonderful and seriously old school. I think that used to happen WAY BACK WHEN in the olden days before all these idiots were using their own hard drugs. When some men still had at least a shell of gentlemen left in them. Now we have thousands of coked up tweaker ego maniacs with BIG GUNS who think they have big balls but who really know that they are screwed anyway, so why not die like in some gangsta movie. I just wish they would leave the poor innocent people alone who really are quite helpless do do much if anything .

    5. These gangsta wannabes could nominate somebody they hate with all their might and the state should execute the nominees just to start the peace talks.
