Subject Matter: Shoot out in La Paz

For more than half an hour, Federal and State forces had a shoot out this afternoon in the locality of Fraccionamiento Juarez in La Paz, Baja California Sur. It is reported that no less than six alleged criminals were detained, among them two women.
The shoot out culminated in the inside of a house that appeared to be a safe house of the arrested, located in Calles Insurgentes, between Margaritas and Constructores.
Locals from the Fraccionamiento, as well as Conchalito, Manglito and the surroundings, entered into a panic after hearing the automatic rifle fire, including students of the World University who took refuge in their class rooms to avoid stray bullets.
Data obtained by Zeta, refers that the detained alleged criminals are in the service of the Sinaloa Cartel. Until this moment, the PGJE have given no information in respect of this incident.
(Otis: The article I posted yesterday contained information about 5 safe houses raided by the authorities that I believe all belonged to the Sinaloa Cartel. This seems a continuation of the same actions, and it seems as though in La Paz, the Sinaloa Cartel are actually being hunted down by authorities).
What cartel has bought out local authorities ? Or better yet, who controls the governor there?
ReplyDeletePreviously it was Damaso vs El Mayo, El Mayo made an arrangement with CJNG to defeat Damaso, which they did, now CJNG seems to be cleaning house. I think Sinaloa had an arrangement with the authorities, something happened and the authorities seem now to have reneged on that, and over this month, have arrested a lot of Sinaloa operators, and emptied the Sinaloa safe houses, while not arresting anyone from CJNG, who have been threatening the municipal police and prison staff.

ReplyDeleteEven if it was CJNG plaza CDS still has ears everywhere and people are afraid to speak against them. I have first hand knowledge of the Juarez plaza. La Linea runs at least 60 percent of the area if not more but even in hardcore Linea territory if someone so much as jokes about being Lineas and has no weapon or is actually Linea CDS will pick you up-not Linea. They will interrogate or torture your ass to make sure you are not an enemy of theirs. They hide like roaches and their "intelligence" network is nill but just let their roach ears hear someone mention anyone but them and that person is toast. Even innocents that speak against them are toast.
