Subject Matter: Joaquin Archivaldo Guzman Loera, El Chapo
Recommendation: No prior subject matter knowledge required
Assassination of Zetas at point blank, acts of torture, kidnapping and intent to import tons of cocaine in cans of jalapenos, are among the accusations that Joaquin Archivaldo Guzman Loera will face.
Reporter: Sinembargo Redaction
on the morning of 8th of November of 1992, sicarios entered a disco-tec in Puerta Vallarta, Jalisco. Carrying weapons and seeking revenge, they fired on members of the criminal organization led by the Arellano Felix brothers.
No less than six people died in the shoot out. Chroniclers of the epoch attribute the massacre t to Joaquin Guzman Loera, a youngster known as El Chapo. A chapter in his life that follows him to his cell in New York and that could, according to Brooklyn prosecutors, soon appear on his charge sheet.
This was narrated by Alan Feuer for the New York Times, in the text " 7 tons of cocaine in cans of jalapenos: the evidence against El Chapo, where he presents the evidence that now confronts the Mexican.
The shoot out in Puerta Vallarta, occurred while Guzman was " consolidating his control of smuggling routes as a rising power in the Sinaloa cartel" and is now registered in a 90 page government memorandum submitted in the case on Tuesday.
"The memorandum was designed to list the crimes that Mr. Guzman was believed to have committed, but they were not specifically presented in his indictment. Those were legion, the note said, and included assassinations, acts of torture, kidnappings, prison detentions and an attempt to smuggle seven tons of cocaine in jalapeno cans", writes Alan.
Since Loera was sent to New York fifteen months ago, his trial has been bather in legal technicalities related to his extradition, " and in arguments about the harsh conditions of his confinement in the high security wing of Manhattan's Federal prison. " So now the detailed account goes: even with canned cola. At least that's what Alan says.
There are chapters on Archivaldo's misdeeds. In 2001 for example, Guzman ordered the capture of sicarios, alleged members of Los Zetas. Acts of torture were not carried out by him personally, but in one of the cases, "the accused shot at his rivals at point blank range and ordered his henchmen to dispose of the bodies."
In 2006, after relaxing during a lunch, he killed two members of Los Zetas, said the government, with head shots from a rifle, says Alan, from the documents to which he had access.
There are up to 40 witnesses who could provide testimony, according to the text. They will be describing the brutalities that the government included in their memorandum, but their accounts will not be the only evidence presented.
"Prosecutors wrote that they also had satellite photos of Mr Guzman and his operation, seized drug accounting books, dozens of videos, thousands of intercepted phone calls and emails, and more than 300,000 pages of documents," said Feuer.

As I see it, there's no doubt Chapo committed major crimes to the USA, but to bring up things like the assasination of rival cartel members?
ReplyDeleteThe US attorneys need to charge el chapo for crimes against the USA, not crimes committed in Mexico, against her citizens. Leave those crimes for Mexico.
This hype makes me wonder how much they really have on the man. Obviously they are relying on snitches, protected witnesses, etc, but all they got to do is prove he sold/brought dope, lots of it, to people in the US.
i agree 100%. i could have not say it better myself.
DeleteThat would depend on whether the people he killed in Puerta Vallarta were USA citizens or had dual Mexican-USA citizenship. If they did have, then the USA will charge him for their murders, regardless if those murders were committed in another country.
Delete2.35am thats my thoughts as well.
DeleteMargarito Flores Sr comes to mind, after his evil twins caused the arrest of Vicente zambada they allowed their daddy to go to sinaloa without advising him of the situation, there he disappeared, but how do you prove CDS had anything to do with it? Blaming like talk is cheap, and not allowing witnesses or defendants to talk to railroad anybody or to cover up the participation of the CIA should be against the law.
DeleteEven his kids don't want to pay the lawyer cos they know Chapo is a dead man living. He'll arrive in Sinaloa stripped of all dignity in a pine box.
ReplyDeleteHe lost it all because he wanted a piece of Kate. Sad. Sad.
The US Gob shoulda just get it over with its joke of a trial and start looking for Mencho (who they'll never get alive)
@2:42 They are having a hard time proving the money come from legit places , they can't have it trace back to certain people
DeleteHe not coming home warm
jajjaa mencho has alot of boyfriends on BB. You think he gonna go out shooting? Not even close...he didnt have balls to kill Chapos kids and couldnt even keep menchito from getting kidnapped in prison by sicarios del Chapo. Jajajjja
DeleteHe never kidnapped chapos kids. Damaso did
Delete10:42 IS the spurned woman on this novella...
DeleteSpurnt by la Mencha, LA chapa, El mayate, EPN and quirino coppel... desperately looking for Mister Goodbar
He has to much and dea fbi He will walk. Or witnesses protection program
ReplyDeleteNo way...he has chips to play for sure, but only for family security, and maybe something less than SuperMax...but he's never gonna leave US alive.
DeleteThe only crime guzma is guilty of is of selling drugs to feed his family other than that if working is a crime give that man a long sentence because working has a kid is how he learn
ReplyDeleteSoy de Monterey no tengas miedo
Yeah what would his kids do without gold plated pistols and hussies drenched in makeup? Theyd starve to death, and just think how could theyd be without all those mansions and luxury vehicles to keep them warm and safe? Chapo had no choice but to kill and sell life destroying narcotics! Free the man!
DeleteDrug dealing is not work first of all. You also do not need millions of dollars to feed a family for even years. Stop with the B.S. remarks.
DeleteI'll give you a hint: working selling drugs is illegal.
DeleteMajor drug trafficking is work albeit a dangerous one. Plus the constant pressure is non stop. At least in a normal job, you go home and shut it down.
DeleteIt is not the job of selling drugs, but the transporting them from point A To Point B for the Real Owners that end up with billions and billions of dollars in banks THAT GET FINED ALL THE TIME FOR MONEY LAUNDERING, but never ever a 10% of the money involved...
DeleteThe CIA has been named as the ones in charge a few times, but I believe not every agent is part of it other than in sweeping it all under the rug. More so since Iran/Contra exposed them.
Transportation is part of the job of selling drugs.
DeleteI thought the same that "transportation is part of the job of selling drugs."
DeleteChapo will be in the slammer for a long time, overwhelming evidence. He had drugs delivered into USA, that also is a major crime, for those that want him, with only a slap on the wrist.
ReplyDeleteI still don t understand why did he hated los Z too much even when they belong to gulf cartel was that personal or what? I heard somewhere that he called gentleman to lazcano
ReplyDeleteAmbition, greed, and the z where the gulf armed wing. Once he went at gulf he had the z to fight as well. It escalates from there.
Delete@12:28 so he was butthurt because whenever he would enter gulf territory he would get his ass kicked by los Z?
DeleteThe problem between setas and cds and the beltranuses and the arellanuses and the Carrillo Fuentes was because the new chilangos owners of the drug trafficking, we're fighting each other for control of the drug trafficking they piggy back with the CIA merchandises they were moving...
DeleteThe interactive wars also destabilize the country of Mexico so that the bottom feeders can come and buy it all, cheap.
As we know PEMEX is the crown jewel of these White Collar Huachicoleros followed by mining, power generation, land air and water, ports and a privatized military and police that serve foreigners...
He hates the gulf cartel because they killed his brother in prison, zetas were the bodyguards of osiel, the oneowho ordered the hit on chapos brother the man that chapo wanted dead therefor to get to osiel he had to go through the zetas, fighting osiel meant fighting the zetas
Delete3:05
DeleteGulf carte didn't kill his brother, it was Juarez.
If they still looking for evidence, it might not go very well and he might be free in a few years.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking they gad enough evidence to bury him alive for the next 1000years but i might ne wrong
There is zero chance he walks. They gave mochomo life and they had nearly zero evidence on him besides some snitches. The DEA has recordings of Chapo negotiations with the twins. That alone is enough to put him away for a long time
DeleteYes They gave mochomo life but a lot of big players are Released soon. I remind myself to the bb article about big caf and cds capos. He will not walk free but i assume they need more charges to make it life. Otherwise he will be released in e.g. 15 years or so
DeleteNot that I'm a cheapo fan but his only crime is feeding the hunger that the world has for his product and he was only business until the other greedy jerks got out line and started killing people so it all went downhill so the dept of justice already has enough to lock him up and why should they fabricate more evidence when are they going to extradite the Trevino twins who messed everything up for everyone and Dea should focus on getting mencho another wannabe butcher like Trevino
ReplyDeleteIn the world of business there is no room for barbarism like chopping heads and burning bodies hope they all get the same of their medicine they live by the sword they die by it.
His lawyer can be heard saying, your honor, Mr Guzman is a pheasant farmer and a family man. He never has drugs on him, as far as killing people, that's nonsense, he wouldn't hurt a fly. In other words his defense will not be good.
ReplyDelete11:20 your expert analysis could get you into Harvard or Yale,
DeleteSend your resumé.
Well, I guess Generals in the military should be held accountable when soldiers commit kill innocent civilians or rape etc. If there is no concrete evidence it is obsolete. There are many crimes in Chihuahua attributed to Gente Nueva and they make Chapo responsible as if he gave the green light...
ReplyDeleteMost subgroups within a cartel like Gente Nueva have some sort of autonomy meaning they can control their own day to day activities without having to ask anybody for permission to work within that cartel. This includes most murders, extortions and such. The problem is that because Sinaloa cartel claims they do not hurt innocents when a grouo like GN does of course it is going to fall under the bosses name because this entire subgroup does belong to that cartel no matter what. Meaning the boss allows them to work and continue without concecuenses hence he takes the bad rap. He cannot escape from that unless he fires them all.
DeleteChapo hung that banner in nuevo leon few years ago with severed half dismembered bodies. He signed his name on that banner threatening governor galvan.
ReplyDeleteEl chapo will never escape the U.S. if you think he will you have another thing coming. The CIA will kill him if he is released just like Griselda Blanco.
