Badiraguato, Sinaloa - Moments of panic were lived in the community of La Majada de Arriba, after armed men stormed the community and set fire to buildings and parked vehicles.
The group of criminals apparently wanted to send a message to the Sinaloa Cartel that Rafael Caro Quintero currently commands, due to the struggle that exists between the children of the infamous Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán, " Los Chapitos " blaming them for the current war against his brother and their uncle identified as "El Guano" Guzmán.
According to reports that unofficially have arisen so far, it was around 5 or 6 am on Friday , May 18 when subjects carrying automatic weapons besieged the community who abandoned their homes and fled in fear.
A group of armed men broke into the community of La Majada de Arriba, in the Municipality of Badiraguato, Sinaloa, and left 3 houses and 11 cars burned. According to the police report, the subjects asked about the whereabouts of "El Sheriff" or "El Toro".
Due to "the disturbance", the inhabitants of the locality decided to leave. So far, there are no formal complaints, according to the Prosecutor Juan José Ríos Estuvillo.
According to the reports of the security forces, the attack was recorded at 6:00 am. The armed group, which traveled in at least four units, went to some homes and removed its residents.
Once taken by surprise in La Majada de Arriba, the gunmen did not let the inhabitants leave their houses, threatening to kill them if they "poked their noses into their business".
Once they had taken over the place, the armed group set fire to several buildings and parked vehicles, shouting slogans to the inhabitants that they "would turn up dead if they talked".
Outside of the houses, so far there, there have been no reports of deaths or injuries. The criminals kept the population in distress for more than an hour.
The men armed with high power rifles asking for "El Sheriff" or "El Toro", seconds later they started to burn the houses where it is presumed that this person lived.
Subjects who entered the house placed mattresses, clothing and other items to set them on fire. The fire destroyed three motorcycles and four cars and trucks.
Elements of the Municipal and State Police arrived after two hours, reinforced by personnel of the Mexican Army and Military Police. So far no one has been detained.
"We only have the report of a house that had a report of a fire and some vehicles, that was practically all the information, when it was attended by the staff they have not provided any information", explained the undersecretary of operations of the Ministry of Public Security, Cristóbal Castañeda Camarillo .
"I do not know if they have already filed a complaint about these events, but the first authorities who arrived did not tell us did not tell us about one ."
Omar Vicente García, Secretary of Public Security of Badiraguato, confirmed the eruption of the armed group:
"Armed group breaks into a village of Badiraguato; burned houses and cars and made families run;
According to my sources, units arrived with armed people and they blocked the streets to carry out their excesses, there are no signs that there are persons deprived of liberty or executed , ie murdered," he said.
Castañeda Camarillo also ruled out that they have even found shell casings for the use of firearms evidence.
"They are protecting not only that area, but the area from Culiacán to Badiraguato, they are constantly making the trips; We believe that it is an isolated event, but anyway, we will strengthen our presence, we are seeing this also in with the state of Durango, from Culiacán to Tamazula, " Casteneda Camarillo explained.
State Attorney General's Office Files No Complaint:
Prosecutor Juan José Ríos Estavillo said that so far they have received no complaints from people who had damage to their properties in the Majada de Arriba, Badiraguato.
"We are waiting for the participation of the respective complainants, so we invite the affected people to present their respective complaints and to the competent authorities, within the scope of prevention circumscribed in Public Security, to generate the respective reports and if we identify some elements that properly will lead to the participation of the Office of the Prosecutor, we will do so, " said Rios Estavillo.
"So far no complaint has been received, we are waiting for the conclusion of the intervention of the administrative authorities, but properly for the identification of the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor, in this type of cases, so it corresponds to the damages, the denunciations are necessary, to be able to identify the affectations and the legally protected goods ".
Cmon guys how true could it be that RCQ is still calling shots?? If I’m not wrong he use dirty money to invest in legit business’ through out Mexico?? All business register under Quintero family members or presta nombres ?
ReplyDeleteOnce you been in the Narco Game for years it just becomes a addition for more money but knowing you could be stronger than a president or any famous billionaire is what pushes you. Money & more power.
Delete-X- Doble BanderaZ
He’s the worlds most wanted man now He has to be a some sort of big shot caller if they’re offering a $20 million bounty.
DeleteOf course he’s calling shots. How long was his first video out where he’s wearing that 5.11 cap. It was out for a good while. And yet no one ever caught on to what he was actually wearing until it was brought up. If I’m on the run and claiming before the world I’m broke. I sure as hell wouldn’t be wearing any hint of tactical gear. That cap said it all. It also gave away that he and his personnel are into hipster gear. No different than when Chino was all GQ in his glam pics. There’s regular gear a person wears out on the battlefield. And then there’s 5.11. They stand out above every tactical gear company in the world. It’s not pricey. But it is trendy amongst operators. He really did signal a lot of people by having worn that cap. I’m mean a lot of fucking people. - Sol Prendido
DeleteHe has a $20 million reward on his head. How do you think he's able to stay on the run and survive? His legit businesses? JAJAJA! Come on man. RCQ is a shot caller.
DeleteSol - are you aware that 5.11 has a store in Culiacán? That hat could have been a gift or maybe he’s got himself a nice franchise. Or maybe it was a “tip of the hat” to his friends in the USA, if you know what I mean.
Delete10 :01 those chinolas don't know how to be low key besides el azul and mayo.. The rest of the Sinaloas love attention, Specially the millennials
DeleteSay whateverthe fuck you all want el mayo is the true boss and the most succesfull trafficker in mexicos history. Since the 70s and never got locked up
DeleteEl Sheriff" or "El Toro, local pieces of shit.
ReplyDeleteWhy?
DeleteThe bounty is 20 million for caro now. They were probably US federal agents posing as bad guys looking for the cop killer
ReplyDeleteI doubt RCQ is involved in any activities now, back in his days was no way compare to now, there was only CDG and GUADALAJARA and there was no turf war between them. He just got the fame of who he was and what he did but times change he wasn’t even the head of Guadalajara. So if Felix gallardo gets release from prison you think some cartel will let him join the team only because of who he was at one point thinking that gallardo can do a better job? No way there times are gone it’s new fucked up generations now with different morals in the game. RCQ doesn’t have experience in war what can he contribute to this generation? Funds only I think? He is a smart man and I believe he has no business in the game no more he knows is a never ending war and things are not the same and out of control for him to step in. I believe he wants to leave everyone with that image of who he was and that brings respect to him aslong as he doesn’t but in in no ones business. Tell me if I’m wrong but if he wanted to join a cartel and take over he would of been killed already since he can be a Threat to a cartel.
ReplyDeleteIt happen to Rigoberto Campos salcido, he was gone from Tijuana for a long time and when he decided to go back to Tijuana los Arellano told him to leave that Tijuana did not belong to him no more and that his time was over that he was no one anymore, he dint listen and you know the rest.
RCQ and smart don't belong in the same sentince. This idiot has done 2 video interviews, and to the U.S. and D.F, it comes across as a big fuck you I'm free, come and catch me but he's to delusional to see it let alone run Sinaloa, that's laughable as much as your post.
DeleteFools don't dominate their turf from prison for about 3p years and stick it on the ass to the CAF, CDJ AND CDG, wiping their ass with the setaz and CT on the way to freedon and leaving Don Neto and El Padrino behind in Almoloya to their fight for paper and crayons.
Delete2:29 . That's what I am talking about ! His days are numbered . Hell yes he is back in it. Never left it . Why would he stop ? He has to live like a rat running from hole to hole and hiding anyway . If he was smart he would have found a country without extradition to the US and took his cash and retired . Look at all the dumb ass gangster shit he has done through the years . Idiot fucker stayed so paranoid on drugs in Guadalajara , he was kidnapping tourist because he thought everybody he seen was DEA . Dumb piece of shit . You don't have to be smart to rule with brutality. Just brutal
DeleteQuintero would not be doing shit if not for government help. He does not need to pay the government, the government already has plans to help him after keeping him locked up for years. That is why he is out. But this FOOL could not do shit in his present terms if not for this help.
DeleteWhat areyou talking the cdg and cds have a truce and the fact is that cdg be kicking cds ass forever. Cds nor jaliscas enter tamaulipas or get destroyed.
Delete11:37
DeleteHow do you know he’s in Mexico? LoL
You know who calls shots? Salinas De Gortari! The rest are no more than Salinas lettuce pickers...
ReplyDeleteOtis, Chivis I respect the work you do but stop shining the light on the crumbs and get to the cake. All of these criminals being shown on this site are nothing but throw aways. Let me see some CEO's from big corporations monopolizing the economy. The chuntis still love it though I guess, little do they know...
What’s a chunti
DeleteThe site is dedicated to the narco war in Mexico. If u want white collar political criminals, look elsewhere. Stop trying to change this site and what it’s focuses are.
Delete@11:07 Chunti is short for chuntaro. Which in turn means dumb ass country boy. Or as they say in America...HICK.- Sol Prendido
DeleteA chunt is a Chundaro, (some say chuntaro)
DeleteAnd that means a Mexican hillbilly, a farmer, a bracero, farmhand, a landless farmer,
"Chunt" is used to put down a Mexican looking girl or boy you like or what Richard Nixon calls a "Wet Back" or the modern mophakas call illegal aliens irregardless of their status.
Well, I agree with you; follow the money, ie..........which is an all accompassing task in itself and we do some stories when we can. You are more than welcome to send us links or suggestions.
Delete11:32 sherap, there are enough constraints here, in spite of crimes bigger than drug trafficking ALL OVER THE WORLD and compounded by foreign money laundering that makes life hard for all, specially including Mexico holding on to the shitty end of the stick held safely on the US...
Delete--You go and bury your ass on the border and let grown men work the adult side.
my opinion is B.B. does a decent job I spot lighting corrupt officials, but only when some other media outlet has ran it.
DeleteThey are afraid to post political hearsay and stay away from doing political exposes.
They have ties and are loosely tied to some sources that are within government or branches of gov. They have a leash and they respect the hand holding the leash.
If not they could peel it all back for everyone, they’re a smart bunch.
@4;41 Thanks for the semi compliment that we do a decent job of spotlighting corrupt officials.
DeleteBB does not publish political hearsay, not because of fear but because we practice good journalistic ethics and only print the truth. Printing hearsay can destroy an innocent persons life if the hearsay is not true. That is why we try to verify what we print from a minimum of 2 credible sources.
We don't shy away from doing political exposes because we are a small organization and don't have a slew of investigators. Occasionally we get credible information from trusted sources that we publish an expose.
We do have sources in govt. agencies but the only tie is trust (they trust us) not a leash.
I think we are a "smart bunch". But based on your comment, you are not near as smart as you think you are.
@dd - I shouldn’t have written my comment in a manner that came off as condescending, for that my apologies. I realize you are a small staff with professionals who have busy lives and other interests.
DeleteI can appreciate that BB does in fact work hard to protect the integrity of the site and its reporters/ bloggers/ contributers by vetting content before posting it.
It is why I frequent the site because I know most of the content is vetted. I guess I just wish you guys would delve deeper into some of the financiers and politicos who fuel this corruption and pillaging of our beautiful Mexico.
Maybe I’m asking too much from this site and I mean that with all respect. I have just come to really trust and appreciate the B.B. staffers.
B.B do as great job. I could say i have some logic on the narco . BB They always published good confirm articles. For those who are interested in the subject. I consider the best NARCO site. BB give many regular personS with regular jobs their narco fix which is great. Been from sinaloa and visit culiacan 3 times a year. I also have friends in in different branches of government. Not the smartest guy but do know lil bit of narco world. To tell you bb is on the right path.

The CDS cartel is worst than zetas and CJNG but sinaloense will glorify this scum bag cartel smh sad to see my people admire and cheerlead for them, as a sinaloense my self I'm embarrassed...
ReplyDeleteI've been keeping up to date with the cartels for years and have a lot of respect for them from UK
DeleteCds is #1 and they don't mess with the people and that's why I'm proud to be from sinaloa. The land of the baddest narcos in the world!!
Deleteworse than zetas and cjng? Ok troll...
Delete4:55 wtf are you talking about! They mess with everyone! Gtfoh with the lies! They kill, kidnap, and extort just lke all other cartels. What makes them the worst is they've been doing it the longest. Thats sad, just like all the cartel cheerleaders!
Delete7:54 before the extortion and the torture, the polesias and marinas arrest the victims and deliver them to the sicarios to dispose as needed, that is a dirty little secret of the Mexican government.
DeleteBroncas de la sierra nada nuevo.
ReplyDeleteafirmativo. No es la primera ni la última.
DeleteI don’t understand why they would go at it. Guzmán vs Guzmán. There is nothing to gain from that because either way you are hurting the same family.
ReplyDelete11:12 The is something you obviously don't understand . These drug traffickers really aren't very intelligent .
DeleteIf you come from a big Mexican family you know how theres that one uncle that's kind of a dick and he's your uncle but you dont really care for him... or that one aunt that's a chismosa and she might of started some chisme on your mom's but you kinda keep it coo with her because she's an elder and your dad's sister but you could really care less for her... well it seems like the Guzman's are no different and have some of the same family problems as everyone else... hasta en las mejores familias.
DeleteFamily killing family is the lowest of the low
Delete9:54 i dont think you understand what this sight is about and those crumbs touch more millions then any ceo from a corporation
ReplyDeleteWrong again. 9:54. Comment is pretty spot on.
Delete4:35 is right and on the right side with 9:54.
DeleteD.E.A . even if someone turns him inn. Dea wont pay the bounty.. DEA stand for Dont Expect Anything.
ReplyDeleteEl HIPPIE
Technically a true statement, since it's the DoJ that authorizes the payment, and Treasury that forwards the money. That said, if you had any actual experience with the DEA you'd know they pay out quite a bit to informants.
DeleteKB
They pay out chump change. On any decent cases takes about a 1 to 2 years get a decent pay out. The biggest hustlers are dea. They also have top quality for sale.
DeleteI give and example Diego León Montoya Sánchez don diego most wanted drugs dealer at one point in Colombia. His own cousin turn him in. Don diego was captured sentenced him. Dea turn around told the cousins what reward. If you had any experience with the big dogs in D.E.A you know what am taking about. Anything over 100k is impossible to collect. The queen of dea informants gave DEA the name Dont Expect Anything.
El hippie
KB - you must be an agent or an agents sugar baby... either way good luck with that.
DeleteJust a regular kid with 8 t0 5 job. Been around the Mexican cosa nostra to know 1 or 2 things. Take it easy KB
DeleteEl hippie
That's hilarious and completely messed up. Waiting for people to file complaints after houses and cars were burned and people with guns stormed the area.
ReplyDeleteNothing to see here, nothing happened. See no one submitted a formal complaint!
Most Mexicans accept their fate with resignation.
DeleteBut a few won't.
Your comment pretty much sums up the Mex. Gov. Take bribes...don't answer if citizens call....find out who called to complain...either rat them out, or take them to whoever they were complaining about, and get a finder's fee, or a nice pmt to kill or "disappear"them for said briber. The Mex. Gov needs to be torn down starting at the top. Only way this ends well for the good citizens of Mexico. JMO
DeleteI heard La linea was involved in this too
ReplyDeleteLol, at least i haven' t heard any cjng tweeker cheerleaders yet.
DeleteCjng letting cds know they are not untouchable, he was working with them at one point after ALL. You know cjng has business up in Sinaloa too, just like cds launder money in Guadalajara which is the second biggest city in Mexico
ReplyDeleteThose people keep getting harassed from sicarios to the military looking for chapos there.. I read a story on how that area is supper poor with no close schools for kids and if the kids wanted to go to school they would have to hyke around mountains to the only school there is on that area.. Yet that's chapos birth place and in his fake corridos he claims he helps people, he should have started building schools so the kids wouldn't be illiterate like him.
ReplyDeleteGood point, you get 5 points
DeleteStraight up..
DeleteIt's really more than 30 houses burned, but article here says 3 houses burned. Typo
ReplyDeleteI just double checked the Sin Embargo link . It say TRES casas. Three. If you have different info can you please post a link ? Thanks.
DeleteCoward RCQ is scared of the Chapitos.
ReplyDeleteNobody in the game respects those chapitos, they are the reason why cds has been going down hill
Delete10:57 CDS going downhill,
ReplyDeleteis because the Mexican government to said so,
And it is all EPN's shit to shoulder.
Cjng is the reason cds went down hill, cjng was the best and worst thing that happened to them
ReplyDelete3:34 lloras si te la sacan y chillas si te la meten,
ReplyDeleteno sabers que es peor o mejor
el rumor fue que ivan vs rafael caro. mas ya no se supo nada no lo creo.. JAGL
ReplyDeleteA questions for those who really knows. It is no secret you can run your criminal activity from inside prison IF you got enough "power" Both power on the inside and enough power on the outside for nobody to "steal" your business. Like Chapo did when he went in the first time he jsut got more powerful from the inside. When RCQ and the other 2 original bosses went to prison 30 years ago did they lose all power? I know the stories about how they split up mexico and we gotthe different cartels. But never have I read anything about RCQ or the other 2 guys running anything from inside prison. Then when RCQ got out all of a sudden he is a major boss after almsot 30 years inside? at least that is what media says. But if he was still running things from the inside why did we never see any articles about him or hte other 2 guys being bosses for this or that part of this or that cartel. Liek the Sinaloa cartel which is made up of several groups. i never read anything about any group being runned by RCQ. Then he gets out and he is mr big shot after going to prison before cellphones where a common thing. Seems like all 3 original bosses jsut ended up in a black hole for 3 years. Only old stories about the DEA guy they killed pop up now and then. So how the heck did RCQ "vanish" for 30 years and when he gets out he is an insta boss))
ReplyDeleteErnesto fonseca carillo uncle of Amado carrillo.
DeleteMiguel angel felix gallardo uncle of the arellanuses Felix
Rafael Caro quintero, papá del chapo, güero palma, El azul, y El Mayo y todo El CDS...
All ruled from prison, but the men behind the power were the chilangos, like jorge hank rohn and his brother Carlos with their daddy's money formerly of Texas Banks in tijuana and Carlos Salinas de gortari, "El Ratoncito Orejón" all over the Gulf.
The D.E.A. And Kiki knew exactly the danger of playing undercover and in a foreign country. You were discovered and payed the price. The US problem on drugs is not that they can’t control the flow of it. It’s that they don’t want to. They want the big fish. They catch the so called smaller fishes and let them go, for the chance of the big Catch. I deliver for a Nationally know beverage company. And I have to store back stock product in back rooms of Carnicerias and Marketas and Liquor stores own by middle Easterners and Indian own as well. And the things they hide. Under hidden floors and fack Docks is so obvious. STASH MARKETS !! Which the DEA knows of.They want Rafa because the US wants justice for Kiki’s murder. Guess what. He doesn’t need to serve time in the US . It’s call a casualty of WAR ! Get over it. Kik was a Mexican disrespecting his Roots. He knew the price and PAID and so did the Gringos. The DEA has Broken so many laws in Mexico it blows the mind. Let Mexico send in Bounty hunters to the US to apprehend and catch murders and rapists that commit crimes in Mexico.the US would be livid if you came in and “ Abducted “ a US citizens. Those 5 million should be used to Create a Kiki Camarena scholarship for Mexican born Americans to further there education. Not for a person who turns in RAFA !!! DEA knows exactly where he is and so does the Mexican Government. The 5 mil Reward should be use to educate all these Under Age School murders we have here in our country. Not to catch an old retired Mafioso. Who has all the illegal, washed, laundered and legit money he wants. Why is Trump not on this ? Like with Chapo ?
ReplyDeleteHey, Right on @9:35 , tell it like it is , bro.
