Tijuana: A man is hanged from a bridge, amidst wave of relentless executions
The killings have surged since 2016, an infestation of violence and blood, public executions and murders, thousands of dead, morgues that cannot sustain the flow of bodies. They are shot, stabbed, strangled, bruised necks and severed limbs, charred, burned, and disarticulated, severed limbs wrapped in black trash bags, eyes leering from a head, stuck in an plastic cooler or suitcase.
For some the degradation and violence can be seen in a single image of a body twisting in the wind, hanged from a bridge, in the early morning hours, a stillness of the day, a lifeless body swaying slightly, silently.
This morning, in Colonia Villa Bonita, such an image was scene, and captured, by cameras, and burned into the memories of those who saw it. A narco cartulina on the omnipresent butcher paper, brightly colored, sometimes yellow, sometimes green, sometimes white was pinned to the bridges support. The contents were not revealed.
The eastern zone of Tijuana, and many other neighborhoods are ravaged by a multi tiered and complex array of local retail groups backed by more powerful outsiders, who send weapons and crystal, fueling the killings. Various groups are backed by El Aquiles, La Rana, and elements of CJNG, along with CTNG. Regional and local cell leaders lead groups of sicarios and tienderos, often filling the same role at different times.
Across the city, in an upscale mall, Galerias Hipodromo, a man in his mid thirties in stylish joggers and leather sneakers heads to his morning workout. He is refined in his leisure wear, beginning the day in the gym, as many head to work. He is executed leaving the gym, the blood runs out of his head, onto the polished floors of the mall.
He has a tattoo on his leg of a cross, and is known to the investigators as Pedro Ricardo Arce Fox, 37 years old, arrested in 2016 by the PEP, with two kilos of cocaine. He is said to have worked for or in concert with Alfonzo Azarte Garcia, "El Aquiles", the elusive trafficker, who has been strong in the Tijuana plaza since 2010.
Aquiles, and Juan Sillas Rocha, "El Sillas" who was arrested in 2011, after gunning down Israel Vergera Galindo, aka "El Marquitos", once terrorized the city in 2010, in the direct years following the horror of El Teo, La Perra, and Muletas, whose reign of bloodshed made international news, as bodies turned up burned, and 20 corpses without tongues were dropped by a school in 2008.
Aquiles and Sillas threw bodies off bridges with taunting messages and left heads in coolers for each other's sicario's, mocking, challenging, defying. Marquitos, survived the shooting, escaping from his hospital room, and going to work for El Aquiles, having previously been aligned with Fernando Sanchez Arellano, and Juan Lorenzo aka El Chan. Marqutios was arrested in Mexico City in 2013, and was indicted in the same United States probe that ensnared Aquiles, Operation Narco Polo.
El Dany |
Arce Fox's career ended today, as he bled out on the floor, ambushed, betrayed, a mistake, or an unavoidable fate. Many are stalked and killed in the gym, as they relieve tension, sweating and eventually bleeding on the same gym floor. Issac Manuel Godoy Castro, El Dany, who was one of El Inge's top people in Tijuana, was arrested in 2009, during the bloody former years of Teo and Inge's war. Dany was released in 2017, and executed in April of this year, his body slumped across workout equipment in a gym in the La Mesa district.
Yesterday, in Zona Rio, in an upmarket apartment building "New City", a man was murdered in the buildings gym. Police say they are investigating. The suspect in the Hipodromo killing was caught on camera, as he appears to conceal his pistol in his waistband. He wears a long sleeve dress shirt, tucked in, and a black vest, white cap pulled down, the composite of business casual in Tijuana. He would not have stood out in the crowd, as he walked closer to Arce Fox, before pulling the trigger.
The killings continue, reaching a grim total of 225 approx in the month of June, and July looks to surpass it. Daily headlines count the totals, increasingly in articles detailing 9 killings in as many hours, or or other previously shocking sums. Tijuana is listed as the 5th violent city in the world, as previous norms are erased, and entire neighborhoods are the stage for daily executions.
They kill you in your car, they kill you in the gym, grabbing the kids from school, on the way to work, in your home, in your office. Your body is left in the street, or stuffed in a suitcase, black hair dangling outside of the zippers, blood smeared across the canvas. Your body is thrown from a bridge, rope abrasions on the neck, feet swinging softly in the light wind.

ReplyDelete3:53 tj will never b caf getting pushed around by cds or cjng..caf might control areas with the approval but thats it always having to answer to someone above
DeleteMemos ruido mas accion
DeleteGetting pushed around? You don’t know who really holds the reins in the border. Just cause you don’t see them doesn’t mean they’re not there. Caf has learned the way to thrive is to not make noise, and let people’s minds run wild about who runs the place, watching the young new “owners” fight for local retail sales, and readers like you think that because outside groups sell drugs in a corner that they own the drug routes going north. Caf has a hold of the drug routes going north through Tijuana. While everyone’s attention is focused on the “new owners” the old guard prevails. There is a lot of people who never got fame but we’re always and still are heavy hitters for the CAF, just look at Chencho Beltran unheard of till last year and he’s been active since the 80 already an important Caf member.. Word of advice don’t just believe everything you hear. The Arellanos have some kids that never left and to this day still live in Culiacan. Most of them live in California but they have a very large family. No where near wiped out.
Delete- C
Then why would the caf change the name to ctng..?..that tells u whos piping who...unless caf going at it with ctng...might b heavy hitters but WITH the approval of someone above...NO WAY they can win a war against cds or cjng...caf will never b what once was..
DeleteCasper, don’t waste your time explaining it to these fools. The lie sells better than the truth!
DeleteShut up Casper, caf has the offices but no man power. And the drug routes in tj are used more by cds than any other group way more
Deletecasper let me tell you something, are there CAF members operaring in Tijuana? Yes, are they keeping low key? Yes do these individuals make business? Yes, but is CAF the strong CAF that had Tijuana under control? The one that didnt allowed kidnappings and extorsion and kept it peaceful knowimg violence is bad for bussiness, does this CAF has the power to keep TJ 90% CAF and not let other groups run around while in their territory doing what they want fucking shit up giving TJa bad image and acting like they own the place?, Nope that CAF is long gone, only the threads are left from the rope.
Delete@10:32 CAF never changed their name to ctng. How uninformed are you do you really think they would change their name even when they still have leaders with Arellano last name ? Have you noticed on drug maps and PGR refers to ctng and CAF as different organizations.. if the name changing was true the government would refer to CAF as ctng and they don't. @6:34 used more than any other group ? Where do you get this info from? When mayo was paying plaza to ingeniero, mayo people (Aquiles) were only allowed to use the otay route.. that's why Aquiles main area of influence was otay.. that's why now that Aquiles getting kicked out their last and only strong area is otay.. Ctng is doing the cleaning,,, deal is they get cds out and they could rent that entry point, but only otay , CAF doesn't let anyone operate on THEIR routes only on the one that's up for rent.. with a little research you will see I'm right just look up Tijuana latest drug map and you will see Aquiles left only in otay.. also if CAF is so weak and finished how come when cds was at its prime "owning" tj then why didn't they take out the weak finished CAF why still pay them piso ? And Ctng are mostly Aquiles people that flipped when Aquiles started getting kicked out. Most of ctng like los Cabo's and los caimanes were Teos old crew that switched to cds that switched to ctng cause CAF wouldn't take them back. Do alittle research before making up what you "think" is going on...

Casper, your lame bro.. lol time has changed
DeleteCasper cds took over tj when teo was around like someone said they were dealing n i believe they had their areas of influence where no one messed with them BUT all that dope they were selling guess who was providing it yup cds..info is cds said to caf u can sell but u have to buy from us...caf will NEVER b what it was even if they have an arellano leader means nothing n caf remains will NEVER own tj again..
Delete@1245 bro you really need to do your research
DeleteGotta admit that the same way cds wont b the same without chapo caf will never b the same without the arellano brothers like it or not they dont have the power or leadership to erase any cartel out of tj..
DeleteAMLO ACCUSES THE GOVERNOR OF BC NORTH, on YouTube.
DeleteFor his immense hypocritical greedy PANISM, they don't practice what they preach, says AMLO.
NATO if you read this, please help Mexico.
ReplyDeleteMexico doesn’t need help. They are more than capable of fighting this on their own. Whether they chose to fight or not is a different story but they don’t need anyone’s help.
DeleteNATO? NO PINCHES MAMES, güey.
Deletethe pinchI state government is killing everybody who is somebody to consolidate their ownership of anything drugs, and there is a job for state police delegated by Mexican federal poolice mando unicos, that the power of the chain o' command combined with Mexican politica ranchera...
But there is hope, alarm uribe velez has resigned his senatorship and is headed for trial for his crimes committed as a senator, crimes not covered by presidential fiat, because he was a senator and not a presidente anymore...some day we'll see Mexican politicians and their military/ police apparatchik go on trial and unable to get away with shit anymore, there will be No reconciliation in the quest for truth and justice, I promise.
NATO LMAO get real.
DeleteMexico will reject that type of help. Government wants curruption to continue, along with crime, they don't care alot about innocent getting killed.
DeleteMexico is not in the North Atlantic
DeleteCartel de la rana is loosing a lot of people. Cjng is dropping cds like flies, never in my wildest dreams would I guessed that cds would be taken out by cjng. I guess I believed all those nice corridos. 😯
ReplyDeleteWhere in this did it say cjng was dropping cds? Its the other way guy. Cjng is close to getting pushed out of baja norte and sur all together. Quit making shit up.
Delete5:29 u sound very confident in ur words...in this article theres 3 victims only 1 is said to have had ties with cds 1 caf hung body unknown
DeleteCAF and CJNG have been decimating CDS thru out baja look at Mexicali its always been a quiet city and in the past weeks its bern heating up.
DeleteGuessing you believing all those corridos about cjng lol when they are only getting slaughter by every organization there is
Delete@ EL BULLDOG. Your logic doesn't make sense. What makes you think that CJNG doesn't try to enter Mexicali and haven't been decimated by CDS? Maybe that's why you see a lot of murders there lately. Oh, I understand. You're a CJNG nuthugger.
DeleteOut of nowhere cds stoped their super tough corridos since cjng started whipping that a$$ LOl
Delete@0651 is that why clave 6 number2 man got wacked in front of the Police headquarters ? Maybe you need to look at the facts and start to look at how CDS supply chain in Imperial County and how NTF along with the Feds keep hitting them as well.
DeleteEl bulldog is full of crap.. cjng has been taking mexicali since last year. Why are cds groupies so in denial? Smh
Delete@3:53 thats exactly what ive been saying. CJNG/CAF are taking CDS head on.
DeleteAkiles has been strong in to since 2010 let that sink in Cjng fangirls

ReplyDeleteSo, I was thinking of vacationing in Tijuana like I've done in years past. Not a good idea these days, huh?
ReplyDeleteNo, on the contrary, it’s a great idea!
DeleteDon’t forget to bring your “Make America Great Again” hat!
Well when mencho can't even take on a simple hit man in his home territory jalisco it seems pretty pathetic to think he would wipe a cartel out not happening
ReplyDeleteDo you mean chapo Isidro?
DeleteI Think he meant cholo the nueva plaza leader in guadalajara...
DeleteWhere did you get the details about his shit getting blown off??
ReplyDeleteI saw La Rana at a party in Victorville with Los Canelos ! These guys are chillen in our side of the border lol.
ReplyDeleteSame! But in Hesperia

...sorting through the excuse files.
With the new alliance CDS/BLO/La Nueva Familia Michoacana/Viagras /cartel Nueva plaza mencho better stop playing around bevause he isnt gonna be the one doing the hunting hes going to be the one getting hunted.
ReplyDeleteAdd z to the list..when dust hits the fan mencho will have nowhere to hide...history of the Z will repeat itself
DeleteThat tell you how bad that mencho huy is. He is against all those cartels and he is still expanding, not even in chapos west dreams lol
DeleteThe last letter will forever be embedded in Mexican world
Delete9:06 Zetas are still active so what are you bozos saying lol
DeleteBozo Z are not even a shadow of what they were...yes they active but getting killed left n right, in their best days like the cjng of today they brought to much heat for what they did they became a target for a lot of people soon after they got minimized to cells...
Delete@10:06 they are not all going against mencho if they did he would be squashed like a bug.what im saying is that they have an alliance they all have other priorities but Mencho needs to play nice and get in his lane or he will be finished very quickly
Delete1:34 hes been playing to really nice with all those cartels you just mentioned (sarcasm) lol
DeleteMay your father rest in peace. Too many innocent people being killed for no good reason. I'm glad you got some justice with monito's death. Hopefully the others get their nuts blow off. It won't bring your father back, but getting justice for you and your family can hopefully help the healing process. Thank you for your post, and again sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteSo what you're saying is Mencho is pretty much as powerful as all those put together?
ReplyDeleteThank you costa rica for your words it really means alot to me, god bless you
ReplyDeleteCjng taking out cds, nothing new..
