If
the uptick in murders continues, of 6 homicides per day, Jalisco will break
records.
Robert
Lopez Lara, General Secretary and Raul Sánchez Jiménez, Jalisco Attorney General,
say the resurgence of violence in the state is due to the split of the powerful
Jalisco Cartel New Generation or CJNG.
The
group known as La Nueva Plaza, Cartel del 2 or Cartel del Cholo, dominates the
sale of drugs in the Metropolitan area in Guadalajara, mainly in the municipalities
of; Tlaquepaque, Tonalá, El Salto and Tlajomulco, where the
bodies of 24 were recently discovered in clandestine graves.
Lopez
Lara said that two thirds of the Jalisco killings are related to adjustments by
organized crime.
According
to Sánchez Jiménez, the territory is being fought for the distribution of
drugs, and has unleashed violence between members of CJNG and members of Nueva Plaza, the adversarial splinter group from CJNG.
The
split of the Jalisco Cartel was preceded by the murder of a Colombian on March
10, 2017 in a Puerto Vallarta shopping center.
The murder victim was responsible for the export of methamphetamine.
From
that event there was an escalation of violence in the entity that has continued
to increase. Only yesterday, there was a
confrontation reported in San Julian, when soldiers were attacked by CJNG.
Prior to this was the disappearance and
death of three film students, who were confused with members of the Nueva Plaza
organization, they were murdered and dissolved in acid by CJNG.
Arrests in Chiapas of 48 linked to
CJNG
At
least 48 members of CJNG were detained today in three cities in the southern
border state of Chiapas. According to the Attorney General of Chiapas, an anonymous
tip alerted them to the presence of armed men who were staying in a hotel in Ciudad
Cuauhtémoc, in the municipality of Frontera Comalapa.
Most
detainees are from Oaxaca, Monterrey, Coahuila, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi and
Puebla.

There was that one girl that ran a kidnapping ring in Nuevo Leon or Tamaulipas that was hung from that bridge. She was on her way to another prison or hospital or something like that, and was busted out by people she thought were her crew. As it turned out, it was people with a vendetta against her. They took her from authorities, tortured her, killed her, then hung her body from a bridge with a manta.
Anyways, before that story was ever posted someone commented into B.B. about the incident, saying her body would show up soon or something like that.
Then sure enough, we see a story on BB here about the incident. I think the comment was left before the story was ever posted or anything like that. I cant find it, but i remember Chivis posting it, then also posting the comment.

Mayo is now financing Cholo, thats what changed the whole dynamic. Thats all it took to take Guadalajara. Mayos political connections in the city is guaranteeing Cholos safety. Now GDL is essentially ran by the Federation with Cholo getting all the necessary weapons and reinforcements he needs. Nueva Plaza is getting bigger by the day and will eventually be the new cartel de Jalisco and will be aligned with the Federation.
