In social networks a
video is circulating of the Jalisco Cartel Nueva Generacion in which the announcement of their arrival in
the municipality of Salamanca, Guanajuato supposedly to give “security to the
population and exterminate the criminal cell led by "El Marro". [
In almost two and a
half minutes, the video shows images of a group of armed hooded individuals
while the narrator explains that they arrived in Salamanca in order to wipe out
"the thieves, traitors and chapulines” [means grasshopper as in jumping
sides].
Also, warns that the
CJNG will not leave the municipality and those who "work, help or protect
El Marro, will be banished, not only from Salamanca, but from all of
Guanajuato".

Chivis cjng have some serious firepower and no doubt have $$$$ Guanajuato more than anything is probably the most lucrative plaza in terms of fuel theft. El Marro has been fighting for a one year now against cjng and has not backdown one bit.
