Four elements of the
Public Security Secretariat (SSP) are investigated by the Internal Affairs
Directorate for releasing Vicente Carrillo Leyva, "El Ingeniero", son
of Amado Carrillo, who presented a false identification at a police checkpoint.
Last Thursday, elements
of the Police stopped a SUV with tinted windows that was driving in the area
of Polanco.
Agents managed to
identify him as Vicente Carrillo Leyva, but he had presented an identification in
the name of Andrés Favela shown on the ID as a conductor.
The uniformed agents requested orders from a superior, and Raymundo Collins, Secretary of Public Security of the
capital, asked that Carrillo be taken to a Public Ministry for using a false identification, but the agents
already had already allowed Carrillo to leave, not stopping him when he took a taxi to leave.
In June he served his
sentence in prison and was released.
The elements involved
were presented to Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office of Public
Servants of the Attorney General's Office (PGJ) as they did not detain Carrillo
Leyva, despite his presenting a false identification.
In addition, the SSP
informed that there are two other investigations in process and it is expected in
the next hours sanctions will be issued.
For now, the elements
involved are suspended.

Chances were at time of the arrest, the polesias were fake.
A face only a mother would love! Did I miss something? He was pulled over in a tinted window vehicle but then left in a taxi? Did they seize the vehicle or was that another taxi?
ReplyDeleteI caught that too. The thing is, once a person is released from incarceration. They have no plans about going back. Or even dealing with the authorities in an official capacity. To give up the "Mordida" is a small price to pay. Take the vehicle too. There's plenty money and millions of vehicles.
