It was the Government
of the United States that was the first to identify Fausto Isidro Meza Flores, 'El
Chapo Isidro' , as one of the Mexican drug lords, who carries out the largest
number of drug trafficking operations in his territory.
But despite having an
arrest warrant in the US, the judges of our country were in charge of tearing
down the judicial mandate against him and thus avoid, his capture, or facing a
trial for his extradition.
Although the legal
battle seems to be in his favor, the fight to be the dominant criminal group in
the Sonora area is more complicated.
'El Chapo Isidro' faces
his former allies of the Sinaloa Cartel, who do not forgive his choosing BLO
over El Chapo after the BLO/Sinaloa split.
His group, 'The
Mazatlecos', keeps at bay the cell
identified as 'Los Nuevo Salazar', allied with
the
The fight between both
groups caused that the rate of homicides
in Sonora soaring this year to levels never before seen; situation that worries
authorities but seem to have no strategy
to stop the crime.
The population of
municipalities such as Cajeme, Guaymas and Navojoa feels the fear of being
collateral victims of this war between criminals and they have even pointed out
cases where state and municipal police deliver innocents to both groups
'Los Chapitos' do not
forgive the other 'Chapo' for his disloyalty to his father.
Meza Flores
Organization is known in operation since 2000 and worked for Amado Carrillo ,
who died in 1997. He allied with BLO after the death of Carillo.
Its main operation
center is Guasave, Sinaloa.

IMO, this is probably one of the reasons "honest" reporters in Mexico are assinated. Here, the brave journalist for the Jalisco Union actually reveals that the Mexican Judicial system is corrupted in actually protecting nefarious characters.
The implications I see in the cited paragraph are many and go far beyond the mere case "El Chapo Isidro"....
I would love to see what other BB readers have to say about Mexico's CJS. Anyone?
I was surprised we did not get more outrage from BB followers. Yes Isidro won tow or three amparos recently and that prevents his arrest. caveat is if new charges are imposed hje would have to win another amparo.

El SR Chapo himself was a very good Sicario he trained along El Comandante Juanito and El Bravo Aponte (who was a GAFE) and El Fantasma . He is extremly trainined in physical endurance as he was able to crawl through tunnels and the mountains.

Chapito may be under estimated, but he is also under estimating the gonzales brothers who are getting stronger and will take him down. The gonzales were the ones who had the tactical knoledge for the attacks that isidro gets credit for but now they are trying to take over chapitos territory in northern sinaloa
