Two narcomantas,
supposedly signed by the criminal group "Los Viagras" were placed in
two different points of Morelia, the Michoacán capital; They contained a
message about the alleged involvement of authorities complicit in illegal activities.
One of the messages,
addressed to "Comandante Villareal", of the State Attorney's Office, saying that for a week "he
promised" that the C.O.E. (Strategic Operations Centers), it would be
"yours".
They ask him to return
"the million" pesos, [apx 52k USD] that they had given to him. The text ends with the phrase
"Atte. Viagras ". [Sincerely, Viagras]
Both messages were found
the morning of this Tuesday, vehicle bridge on Madero and Periodismo and on the
bridge for the libramiento and Morelos Norte, at the exit towards Salamanca.
Regarding the issue,
government sources pointed out that this is a “desperate action” of criminal
groups against the operations carried out against them, in which the capture of
important criminal objectives have been achieved.
