Cartel de Ensenada Threatens "La Rana" w Narco Manta

Translated by Yaqui for Borderland Beat from: Zeta

By: Marcos A. Flores
Ensenada, BC:  A Narco-manta signed by the "Cartel de Ensenada" with a message addressed to "La Rana" and  state and municipal police, appeared this morning on the pedestrian bridge located in front of the El Ciprés Military Garrison.

Across from El Ciprés on Federal Highway #1 and the bridge, the State Government Center and the Municipal Palace are also located.

"To all the people  who go working for the Cartel of "La Rana" or "El 90" and State  Policemen named Elmo, Leo, Burgon;  Municipales , they already felled "La Barredora", We are people of Work , Not Murderers or Thieves. Sincerely : Cartel of Ensenada ", reads the manta.

The report was received by 911 around 06:49 hours, and the document was withdrawn by elements of the State Preventive Police.

This is the second narcomanta with messages against "El 90", apparently a head of the Sinaloa Cartel.
The first manta was left in a corpse found a block from the Police Station in Porticós, in the first days of this month.

    3. 1145 what right hand man do u speak of? The last article BB published of an operator getting killed in tj was that chubby cjng guy who got shot in the head. Hope you're not talking about atlante who got smoked in CULIACAN and was not their right hand man. Can u please clarify I'm genuinely interested.

    1. I know you are asking a serious question.
There are no guarantees in this life, but I personally think the main danger for tourists from anywhere are the usual scams, but robberies are really up, so extra security should always be practiced. no flashy jewelry, midnight runs to an atm, important papers and extra cashed ALWAYS stashed. Extra vigilence at Military Revisiones too , do not leave the cab of your vehicle if they want to search it. cartels are not purposely trying to draw attention to themselves by messing w tourists, but there are so many more drug addicts now the thefts
      have skyrocketed.

    2. Watch out for the cops in and around TJ....theyll pull you over accuse of anything in the search for loose cash... should they find anything significant plan on extortion....other than that no pasa nada..
