A team of experts from
Canada today began their investigations into the air tragedy where conservative
politicians Martha Erika Alonso and Rafael Moreno Valle died in central Mexico.
"Today Canadians begin
their investigation. And we do not know when they will reach their conclusions because
the process is not simple. They are going to study the remains of the aircraft and take the pertinent samples,” said today
the head of the Ministry of Communications and Transportation of Mexico, Javier
Jiménez Espriú.
In the morning press
conference of the president Andrés Manuel López Obrador, Jiménez Espriú
stressed that once the experts have all the samples they will be analyzed to
give their opinion.
"We do not know
how long it will take. We have asked for it to be as expeditious as possible,
"said the minister, who assured that" absolute respect will be given
to his freedom of investigation. "
Jiménez Espriú
reiterated that he is also seeking the participation of the United States -
which for the moment cannot participate due to the partial closure of the
Administration. [however it was reported the day after the crash that the U.S.
was already involved?!?!?!?!]
He pointed out, once
again, that there will be total transparency in the process.
On Monday, a helicopter
in which the governor of Puebla, Martha Erika Alonso, and her husband and
senator, Rafael Moreno Valle, both of the right-wing National Action Party
(PAN), were traveling collapsed in the municipality of Coronango, in the central
state of Puebla there were also three others aboard.
Alonso assumed the
governorship of Puebla on December 14, state that her husband Moreno Valle
governed from 2011 to 2017.
The U.S. made an initial committment to assist (with the very capable NTSB), but the investigators could not travel due to the shutdown of the Government. At least the Canadians stepped in... This is (my humble opinion only) absolutely sabotage.
ReplyDeleteWith so many prominent politicos killed in “air accidents” over the past 10-15 years, I can’t help but imagine that some of them (possibly including this one) weren’t accidents at all, considering this is Mexico, where politicians are killed at a rate of knots.

ReplyDeleteusa and canada investigation this way. amlo wants to prove theres no corruption or truth modified. amlo is morena party.. deceased are pan.. if pan uses friends they could blame amlo and pan doesnt trust amlo. imo amlo is honest president. the corrupt is pan and pri.. and after 2 elections because there were problems for governor.. morena vs pan .. pan won but cheated.. so in short they want someone not affiliated to mexico and to be neutral
DeleteDon't understand why any outside interests would want to investigate. Any outcome will be shrouded in secrecy. It was intentional homicide on behalf of some unknown party, mex govt does not need any help in these matters. Corruption and unsolved murders are at an all time high..
