El Chapo Trial: Prosecution enters into evidence: One of Chapo’s mistress'

The prosecution team entered into evidence a photo of “Augustina” a mistress of Chapo.  [below right]

Chapo’s long history of having mistresses is well known.  The last lady highlighted was a Sinaloa Deputy [like a congressman] Lucero Sanchez, who visited him in Altiplano and had a baby by Chapo.  She is now in a U.S. prison.

Augustina however, I have not heard of. 

Emma was in the courtroom when this was brought forth and photos and texts were placed into evidence.

From communication between Chapo and Agustina:

“Love, whenever you see suspicious-looking cars, let me know so I can get them checked out right away ... They’re following you, darling. You just continue to lead a normal life. They just want to know if you come to where I am.” [Chapo]

Chapo: "How are the sales going?"

Agustina: "Oh, like busy bees," Agustina writes back. "Non-stop, my love."

Agustina  knows Chapo's spying on her and complains about it to her friends.

She tells one friend she "doesn't trust" the BlackBerrys  he's given her "because the bastard can locate them."

She refers to him as an idiot.

"I'm way smarter than him," she writes

The messages were also extremely embarrassing for Chapo and wife Emma.

Chapo the snoop

Came out in testimony; Chapo liked to snoop using spyware.  He would remotely activate the microphone to listen in on people.

With his wife Emma looking on, the FBI agent detailed how Chapo paid for his mistress to have a lipo surgery. 

Chapo tells her, "You are the most important person to me, I love you."

In another text exchange, Chapo arranges to have his mistress take a "black flight" from Mexico to Ecuador with stops in Belize and Venezuela, at a cost of $200,000 round trip.

"No passport love," Chapo says. "It's a black flight."

At one point, Chapo's mistress realizes that he's spying on her.

"Fuck that," she tells a friend.

"I don't trust these BlackBerrys, the ones he gives me over here, because the bastard can locate me."

The mistress also relayed messages to Chapo about a 550-kilo marijuana shipment to LA that was seized by authorities.

He tells her to make arrangements for the men who were arrested to get an attorney.

She updates him on progress, tells him one lawyer can't rep all three guys.

But she like Emma is hip-deep in his business.

She's his intermediary on deals in Belize, Ecuador and across Mexico, texting details about couriers and coke tonnage to other traffickers then circling back to check with Chapo.

"Don’t think about it, do it," she texts one guy and is ruthless.

Chapo ran what seems to be a substantial amount of his international drug business through the women he was involved with.

We know this because he was spying on them and the FBI was able to leverage his paranoia into evidence.

"I was sitting right in front of El Chapo's wife Emma during today's testimony. She sat expressionless. Seemed like she'd been briefed about what to expect. Chapo avoided looking over at her, he was staring down the prosecutor and the FBI agent."

 Chivis: If you read between the lines in the first Emma Univision interview, she was asked about concerns regarding other women, she shrugged and shook her head as not being concerned.
