Michoacán: 8 Los Viagras Sicarios Killed while covering leader's escape

Eight members of Los Viagras, were killed in a clash with soldiers and police in Michoacán.

The State Prosecutor’s office reported that the confrontation occurred at 12:40 local time in the town of Pinzandaro, in the municipality of Buenavista Tomatlán.

Police and the army surprised the group as they travelled in a convoy of trucks armed with assault rifles and grenades.

The suspects attempted to flee by opening fire on the soldiers, seriously injuring a soldier and a police commander.

Eight of the aggressors were killed and 12 were arrested.

A government source says the gunmen were covering the escape of either Nicolas Sierra Santa aka “El Gordo” [] upper leftor Rodolfo Sierra Santana. Top leaders of the Los Viagras armed wing  the La Nueva Familia Michoacana or LNFM.

Los Viagras, was founded by the Sierra Santana family in 2013.  With the support of CJNG, at that time allies, they infiltrated the autodefensa [self-defense] group and eventually gained control of drug production in the Tierra Caliente region of Michoacán.

There have been five continuous days of military and police operations against Los Viagras.

      11:18 AM The people that died weren't Viagras they are a splintter group called Los Blancos de Troya who were lead by El Boto and now La Fresa his Nephew they were going to go and attack the Viagras in Pinzandiro when they ran into the Military and a shootout occurred. Their are pictures taken from family members facebook accounts and members of Los Blanco de Troya telling la Peggy to stop the tone was said the way most Mexicans that are more street and country then city speak.
