Sonora: journalist's murder may have been a crime of passion

Luis Río Colorado, Sonora.- According to unofficial information, the author of the murder of journalist Santiago Barroso was arrested by elements of the Ministerial Agency.

This alleged killer was identified as Omar 'N'  and it is mentioned that he is a union worker of the Municipality and that he was commissioned to the Héctor Chávez Fontes Cultural Center.

It has also transpired in the line of investigation that the murder could be a crime of passion,  because Santiago Barroso was having an  extramarital affair with his murderer's wife.

The information that there is so far;; is that Omar forced his wife to drive to the journalist's private home and waited in an alley for his arrival. After Barroso entered his home the alleged killer knocked on the door and when Barroso answered, Omar pointed a  gun at the journalist’s head, and shot  him several times.

Omar then fled the scene with his wife and threatened to kill her if she revealed anything.

    I think these journalists r wasting their time. Amlo is trying but does not have the resources to tackle the problems in Mexico.

      Picking away those rotten tomatoes in government/municipal officials will require a lifetime which AMLO does not have.
